Chapter 2: Chapter 1: BOSS Template_2

This is also the reason he was able to survive in this dark era and advance to Level 30, just one level short of reaching Silver Lower Tier.

Following the wind and snow, he walked to the innermost part of the valley. Although he had just been out for a short ti, the area was still covered with a thick layer of snow.

Squatting down, Mr. Baiyi felt around and found a protruding stone, pressing it.

Click, click, click...

The subtle sound of gears turning was heard, and the thick snow trembled. A ter-diater surface rose, opening a passage to the underground.

Mr. Baiyi dragged Old Wolf towards the stairs. As the chanism behind him activated once again, slowly closing, the small device he sent out to clear traces swiftly flew back in.

The center of this small sphere emitted a warm yellow light, illuminating the steps beneath Mr. Baiyi’s feet.

Step, step... step, step...

The sound of leather shoes tapping echoed on the stairs. Mr. Baiyi took a deep breath, gathering his complex thoughts.

He was very interested in the various data and clips of this ga before acquiring the gaming pod. Due to the intense realism, every fra was like a movie, captivating the viewers.

What impressed him deeply was this wolf. The reason was simple: this wolf was the first scene in the trailer of the Dawn Federation Zone for "Dawn Ascension," and also a very strong boss in the Dawn Federation version 1.0.

It roughly describes a wolf pack being slaughtered by a squad of Border Soldiers from the Dawn Federation.

This Old Wolf was the previous Wolf King, who witnessed his offspring all becoming human trophies. The new Wolf King also died in battle to prevent the wolf pack from being wiped out.

The powerful hatred and extraordinarily clever intelligence allowed this Level 7 beast to escape. Eventually, it seized an opportunity, achieving Golden Tier, helping Mutant Beasts in the Mutated Zone to invade the Dawn Federation in the story.

This ga is extrely realistic. Each of the three federations has its own storylines and plots, and almost every NPC has its own independent background. Except for madn, every creature has its own reason for doing anything.

The main reason for Mr. Baiyi leaving the Dawn Federation was precisely because of this. According to the tiline, it would still be more than a year before players descended.

In this year, this wolf rose directly from Level 7 to Level 51 (Golden Lower Tier), which is incredibly improbable, at least given Mr. Baiyi’s observations and personal experiences over these two years, this was essentially impossible.

Hence, a year ago, he moved his shop to the border, and based on the clues in his mory, found this place, and also discovered the opportunity for this Old Wolf. Unfortunately, this opportunity seed to acknowledge a specific master.

In this year, besides diligently studying his Alchemy Knowledge, he continuously monitored the movents of nearby patrol squads.

Finally, the wolf appeared.

This was the beginning of everything. With it, sothing seed to be proven.....

Mr. Baiyi roughly dragged Old Wolf down about two hundred ters; the long passage finally ended.

In sight was a stone room emitting a bright yellow light. However, the things placed inside the stone room were full of a technological feel, sowhat discordant with the stone walls.

Clearly, he had already transford this place into a secret laboratory. However, the materials of proper Grade were too expensive, and there were not many truly good things.

Looking at the still relatively smooth wall to the left, which displayed so projected imagery, there was a patrol squad composed of different races.

They didn’t seem to care about the escaped Old Wolf, a group of humans and Half-Beastn were cheerfully dragging their spoils of war toward a Border City.

"Welco back, esteed Mr. Baiyi."

A chanical voice sounded. Mr. Baiyi withdrew his gaze from the large screen, glanced at the device resembling a cell phone and asked, "Has anyone contacted ?"

"Quartermaster Mr. Sabo left a ssage, requesting you to get back to him after you’re done. He wants to discuss a business deal with you."

This object is a communications device in this world. Although it can’t play gas like a smartphone, when it cos to communication, it’s still very convenient. Once two communication devices establish contact, it doesn’t rely on signals but is only blocked by Magic.

It’s said that this thing was researched by Alchemists back when Gods still existed, surpassing even the black technologies of Blue Star.

All of this thanks to the status of Alchemists.

Alchemy is the pioneer of this world’s Technology and dicine. The Extraordinary Technology they hold has the power to allow ordinary people to kill Transcendents.

Therefore, every Alchemist, whether they major in Potion Making, Technology, or Transformation Science, holds a very high status in the Federation.

Although not as prestigious as a Mage, it’s certainly higher than that of Warriors and Knights.

It’s said that the northern Star Federation is commanded by an Alchemy Sage, where it’s also the most technologically developed Federation.

Unfortunately, Mr. Baiyi currently lacks the ability to overco countless obstacles to reach the Star Federation.

"I got it."

With thoughts racing in his mind, Mr. Baiyi dragged Old Wolf toward the innermost wooden door.

Pushing open the wooden door, darkness descended once again. Before his eyes appeared another long passage. This passage in the mountain was extrely secretive; it took him a long ti to find it.

At the end of the passage was a completely unmodified cave. In the very center of the cave, under a tallic apparatus, an ominous golden giant egg flowed with golden brilliance, bringing a slight glow to the cave.

Buzz~ Buzz~ Buzz~

As Mr. Baiyi approached with Old Wolf, the ominous golden giant egg began to flicker, giving off a sense of urgency.
