Chapter 921: Chapter 909: Stuck!
“Finally, it’s my turn!”
Standing on the transworld community Teleportation Array, built jointly by the three races, outside the Erathia World Barrier, Muria looked up at the boundless Dark Void above his head.
Darkness, emptiness, and solitude—these were the sensations the Void gave to Muria, yet the Void was not entirely dark; there were worlds upon worlds, emitting light, adorning the darkness with charming and dazzling splendor.
“Stop looking, you should prepare to set off!” a gentle voice ca from behind Muria. As he turned his head, he imdiately saw his Dragon Race grandmother, Yarista.
“Grandmother!” Muria greeted, unsurprised that his grandmother was here to see him off.
“Hmm, I say, isn’t there a step missing?” With the appearance of his grandmother Yarista, his Titan grandfather Dimos also appeared, sizing up Muria with eyes that also nodded in satisfaction,
“I rember, according to the traditions of the Titan Tribe, every Titan about to venture into the Void to achieve an Epic receives a strand of source power to experience its effects!”
“There’s no need for that, he has handled quite a lot of source power, and he himself has already used up a drop of source power, so it’s needless for him to waste resources anymore.”
An imposing figure like mountains appeared upon the tal Continent, his voice booming like thunder. Muria’s Titan grandfather, the Lord of the Wilds Akmonde, had arrived.
“Uh!” Muria’s mouth twitched. At that ti, he had only passively received a drop of source power, it hadn’t been his active use; with his current realm, using the source power again would certainly bring about completely different sensations.
“Ah, that’s right, my parents, how are they doing?” Muria suddenly rembered his parents. Since they had gone to the Void, he had received no news about them and wondered how they were faring now.
“Don’t worry, they’re doing well now, having successfully obtained their first drop of source power, one foot stepped into the realm of Epics. Now, they have been reincarnated into the second world, accumulating source power, enhancing their foundations!”
“To be reincarnated together in the sa world again!” Muria felt as if he had sucked on a lemon, genuinely envious that his parents could experience hardships and rewards together.
“Alright, prepare to set off, stop dawdling!” Another Epic had arrived, his wife’s grandfather, the Blazing Sky God Arudiba, who had also co to see Muria off.
With the urging of these grandfathers, Muria climbed atop a Pyramid, standing at the square apex of the Pyramid. Then the tal Continent began to tremble slightly as energies roaming in the Void were drawn forth, forming a spectacular strear of flowing light.
This ti, Muria was alone on his journey into the Void, without other Legendary Peak companions; after all, Legendary Peaks were not cabbages found everywhere.
Moreover, most Legendary Peak beings, even when reaching their limits, generally chose to seek divinity rather than becoming Epics, and Legends wishing to beco Epics would prepare for a long ti before venturing into the Void.
“Wait!” When the base of the Pyramid where Muria stood was covered by a dazzling layer of light, he rembered there was one most important thing he hadn’t inquired about.
“Grandfather, Grandmother, what kind of world will I descend into? You haven’t told
yet!”
“Muria, we have selected a world for you that is very suitable as a starting point for becoming an Epic!”
“What is that world like?” Muria wanted to find out in detail about the general situation of the world he was about to descend into. At this mont, half of the Pyramid he stood upon was now enveloped in light, as the activated Teleportation Array was operating very swiftly.
“It is a very tranquil and peaceful world!” Muria only heard Grandmother Yarista say this much before the entire Pyramid lit up, and he was enveloped by a vast torrent of power.
Boom!
The magnificent torrent of power enveloped Muria’s form and then rent the Void asunder, shooting towards the Dark Void beyond the Erathia World’s patrol.
…
When Muria regained consciousness once again, he found himself engulfed in a warm liquid, his body in a dark, narrow, soft space, and he also felt incredibly weak.
It was not that his body was uncomfortable, but Muria realized he no longer had the power to easily raze mountains and boil seas; now, he had fallen back to the mundane realm, even more thoroughly so than when he had sealed his son Aeolus.
His current state was frailer than the mortal flesh of his past life; because now he was but an embryo, whose organs had not yet fully developed.
“Is this the Heavenly Demon Secret Technique? Truly astonishing! Whoever created this technique is indeed spectacularly brilliant!”
Muria, who had roughly figured out his current condition, couldn’t help but sigh. His current state was the result of his use of the Heavenly Demon Secret Technique.
To seal all his power, retain the most basic consciousness, then reincarnate into the target world, and be born with the identity of a native inhabitant of that world; in this way, he would not be rejected or suppressed by the world.
Otherwise, with Muria’s strength, no matter which world he entered, he would be suppressed because he posed an extre danger to any world.
Except for Erathia World, which had given birth to him, raised him, and nurtured him, only this world where Muria was born could accommodate him, no matter how strong he beca. He would be able to co and go freely in Erathia World without any suppression or rejection.
“But where is my sealed main body now?” Muria, having successfully entered the target world and about to obtain a legitimate local identity, began searching for his origin.
Soon, he found his true body within the heart of his yet unford humanoid embryo. His magnificent, gargantuan body, possessing the bloodlines of both the Titan and the Dragon King, was curled up, concealing all his aura.
Muria could feel that he could awaken his main body at any mont, he could regain his strength whenever he wished, but at the sa ti, Muria vaguely felt that,
if he dared to display his main body’s Legendary Great Power within this world, I would be fiercely suppressed by the world and eventually expelled from it, ending up with nothing.
“So it looks like I have to start all over again, from scratch!” Muria thought silently, finding the experience rather interesting. However, the feeling of interest didn’t last long before a sense of fatigue that he hadn’t felt in a long ti welled up in him, and then he felt sleepy.
“Such a fragile body!” Muria sighed helplessly and then fell into a deep sleep. An undeveloped infant embryo, even for soone like him, couldn’t show off any fancy tricks.
…
“Ah——”
The agonized screaming and moaning of a woman in childbirth echoed from within the treehouse, while the man paced anxiously below it. There was little that he, as a male, could do in this situation, especially since they had no experience with it.
“How much longer until it’s born?” A tall, strong Yikong man punched a tree trunk and asked sowhat impatiently. He was the mate of the female Yikong, who was in labor inside the tree hole.
“Quiet, Batu. There’s no use in being anxious about this. It’s your mate giving birth, not you!”
A slightly hunched Yikong man with so wrinkles on his face smiled as he comforted his young fellow tribesman,
“If you truly want to help your mate, I suggest you go hunt down a couple of Extending Chain Birds to nourish your mate and your soon-to-be-born child!”
“Father, you want
to go hunting at a ti like this?”
“Of course. Hunting can help ease your mood right now, and the ga you bring back will be a gift for your child, making them stronger!”
“I understand!” The strong, azure-colored Yikong man nodded, then blew a whistle. A massive winged bird swooped down from the towering Tree Crown and lay prostrate in front of Batu. Batu mounted the creature and soared into the sky.
As he left, his mate continued to make heart-wrenching cries of agony due to childbirth!
Inside the tree hole, the female Yikong, soon to be a mother, was enduring the pain of labor, and her child, who was struggling to be born, was equally helpless,
“I can’t believe… I’m stuck!”
It was an extrely embarrassing situation for Muria. Although he spent most of his ti asleep since his body was not fully developed and he was still inside his mother’s womb, he was awake for a small fraction of the ti. During those brief periods, Muria used his body, which was completely different from any humanoid creature he had ever seen, as the foundation to create a very rudintary thod for circulating blood and Qi.
This was a casual act Muria did to pass the ti when bored. With his knowledge and experience, creating a cultivation thod for a completely novel creature was not a difficult task.
It was this ti-killing action that caused great trouble for the mother of this body because Muria’s body was larger than a normal Yikong infant. So in natural childbirth, Muria got stuck in the passage that would officially lead him into this world.
“Next ti, I’ll never make such a superfluous move again!” Muria, feeling extrely uncomfortable, made up his mind. A setback was a setup for a coback; this experience was a lesson.
