Chapter 283: Chapter 281: Priest

The Elves are said to be nature’s favored children, and there’s a good reason for it.

Just being a hundred ters away from the Elf Tree, Lin You could feel an overwhelming and almost tangible life aura.

Far stronger than the World Tree in his territory.

No wonder such a Race as the Elves was born.

The old Elf under the Elf Tree holding a Scepter should be the High Priest they speak of.

The aura emanating from him was as terrifying as that of Tier Eleven Lords Lin You had seen.

Even the Elf Elders all exceeded Tier Ten.

Counting carefully, there were twelve in total.

Not inferior to any Empire.

"Great and benevolent God of Nature, please hear the prayers of your most devout subjects, bestow your Oracle, guide us forward..."

Under the tree.

The High Priest loudly called out, his voice clearly reaching the ears of all the Elves and Lin You.

With each word, the Elders and Stewards kneeling under the tree bowed, faces full of devotion.

"It’s about to reach the most critical mont."

At this mont, Alren suddenly reminded.

Lin You and the others felt a chill in their hearts and watched intently.

As outsiders, they were not allowed to enter the Elf Tree’s range, so they could only stand outside with the lower Elves, watching from afar.

Yet even so.

Lin You could feel the life aura of the Elf Tree continuously rising.

With the High Priest’s and Elders’ devout prayers, a tangible green glow descended from the tree.

"Buzz!"

Suddenly, a rumble.

The whole Elf Forest began to shake violently.

A pure life aura, centered at the Elf Tree’s crown, surged outwards, transforming into ripples in the air, spreading to the forest’s periter.

Everyone in the forest stopped in awe, looking toward the Elf Tree.

"What a dense life aura!"

"Could it be the Elves are performing a ritual again?"

"I heard they only perform rituals during significant events."

"Could sothing big really be happening?"

"I wish I could go in and see, but other Races are not allowed into the forest’s depths."

The people of the Forest Imperial Capital speculated, all guessing what was happening.

And the Elf Guard stationed in the city also paused to pray devoutly toward the Elf Tree.

Soon after, rays of light erged from them, soaring into the sky.

From various points in the Elf Forest, they converged toward the Elf Tree, creating an exceptionally grand spectacle in the sky above the forest.

"Is this the Elf Race’s ritual activity?"

Lin You stared dumbfounded at the sky, at the radiant streams continuously converging.

He admired it in awe.

He hadn’t expected to witness such a wonder, especially from such a close distance, truly making this trip worthwhile.

However.

He hadn’t noticed.

When the falling starlight enveloped him, the mark on the back of his hand began to glow faintly, resonating with the splendor from the Elf Tree.

Instead, the Flower Spirit dancing in the air seed to be guided by sothing, suddenly departing from the Elf Tree, flying toward him.

"What’s happening?"

The Elves raised their heads, watching the abnormal Flower Spirit.

Even the High Priest and the Elders and Stewards at the center turned their heads, eyes filled with curiosity.

Though the Flower Spirit didn’t possess the intellectual wisdom of the Elves, it had a strong spiritual sensitivity.

Their reaction indicated they had discovered sothing, piquing their curiosity.

"Those few little creatures... could they be flying towards us?"

On the ritual’s outskirts, Mageon blurted in astonishnt.

Because he noticed the direction the Flower Spirit was flying seed to be right where they were.

Then, under his and all the Elves’ watchful eyes.

The Flower Spirit indeed ca to rest outside, above their heads.

No, to be precise, it hovered above Lin You.

Fluttering around him gleefully, drawing everyone’s attention.

"Uh..."

Lin You was stunned.

He gazed dumbfounded at the Flower Spirit above and the nearly tangible gaze around him.

He hadn’t expected such a thing to happen.

"A Human?"

The High Priest’s gaze was profound, seemingly penetrating through all.

The other Elders were curious, scrutinizing Lin You.

Among the crowd, Elder Three recognized Lin You imdiately, and his face lit up with joy.

"It’s you! You’ve finally arrived!"

His call was loud, instantly drawing the Elves’ attention.

"You know this Human?" the High Priest inquired calmly.

"Yes, High Priest, he is the Human I ntioned before, the one blessed by the Mother of Nature," Elder Three answered respectfully.

However.

His words had just fallen when the surrounding Elves stirred in commotion.

"Parker, is what you said true?"

"How could the Mother of Nature’s blessing be bestowed upon a Human?"

"Impossible!"

The Elders exclaid repeatedly, once again looking toward Lin You in the distance.

Lin You felt anxious under their stares.

After all, these were beings beyond Tier Ten, capable of obliterating him with ease.

Only the High Priest’s expression remained unchanged. With a slight raise of his staff, Lin You was enveloped by an invisible force, slowly lifted into the air.

"Lin You!"

Mageon anxiously rushed forward.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine."

Lin You turned back to stop him.

If the other party wanted to kill him, it wouldn’t be troubleso at all, just a flick of the finger would suffice.

So, he relaxed, letting that Power take him to the base of the Elf Tree, arriving before the Elders.

And at that mont, a sudden mutation occurred.

A dazzling light suddenly burst from the mark on the back of his hand.

"Buzz!"

Another loud rumble echoed.

An imnse green beam of light, centered around the Elf Tree, shot straight into the infinite celestial vault.

"What is this!"

At this mont, even the High Priest was moved.

His gaze was fixed on the mark on Lin You’s hand.

Imdiately, the space beside him suddenly twisted, and a stunning figure with a crown slowly appeared.

"Your Majesty, the Queen!"

The High Priest and the other elves were shocked to their cores and hurriedly knelt in salute.

"Rise."

A gentle and elegant voice resonated in everyone’s ears.

It seed to have a magical power, making them instinctively stand and move aside.

Surrounded by Life Aura, the Elf Queen’s exquisitely beautiful face bore a hint of surprise.

But unfortunately,

Lin You was being overwheld by a powerful aura, unable to pay attention to anything else, and unaware of the Elf Queen’s arrival.

Without giving him ti to think, beams of light began to appear around him under the influence of the Power.

The Royal Species, which should have been in the territory, were forcibly summoned one by one, appearing beneath the Elf Tree!

"Huh?"

The Elf Queen let out a light exclamation, her expression changing dramatically.

Let alone the other elves, each was utterly shocked.

"Royal Bloodline! How can this be!"

"How is this possible!"

The Royal Bloodline is sothing only the past Elf Kings possessed.

It is said to be the highest existence within the Elf Race.

But now, six of them appeared at once, how could they not be shocked?

Especially the Flower Spirit with the crown, it made them feel an urge to submit.

The surrounding Flower Spirits directly flocked over, fluttering around it as if crowning the king among Flower Spirits.

At this point, the elves finally understood why these Flower Spirits were surrounding this Human Race.

In the distance, Mageon and others wore expressions of having seen a ghost.

Not to ntion the residents on the outskirts of the Elf Forest, all were struck dumb by this sudden and magnificent sight, each looking up at the sky.

Then, under everyone’s gaze,

The continual gathering of brilliance from the Elf Tree eventually ford into a dazzling object in the sky, descending slowly downward.

Finally, that object followed the beam of light, landing beneath the Elf Tree, quietly floating before the ditative Lin You.

"This is... Divine Format!"

The Elf Queen’s gaze focused, recognizing the identity of that object in an instant.

It was unmistakably a Divine Format!

Moreover, it was a complete Divine Format!

The High Priest was equally overwheld.

The Elf Tree gathered a Divine Format for no one but a Human Race?

This phenonon occurs only with the birth of an Elf King!

Could it be that this human is the embodint of the Mother of Nature on the continent!?

However, before they could think further,

The natural mark on Lin You’s hand slowly floated, coalescing into profound runes in mid-air.

"An Oracle from the Mother of Nature!"

The High Priest trembled all over, daring not to think more, and imdiately began deciphering the runic information.

As the Elf Race’s High Priest, he was the only one able to comprehend an Oracle.

The reason being that each High Priest, upon formal appointnt, receives the blessing of the God of Nature’s mark and can communicate with it.

However,

Upon finishing the deciphering of the Oracle, his face abruptly changed drastically.

"What is it?"

The Elf Queen’s inquiry ca from the side.

The Elders also looked at him with curiosity.

"Your Highness, that thing has awakened!"

The High Priest’s face turned pale as he nearly stumbled.

Fortunately, a few Elders reacted in ti, quickly supporting him, though unclear about the matters.

Only the Elf Queen looked gravely concerned, seemingly having anticipated this result, a hint of desolation crossing her exquisite face.

"So... still can’t escape this fate?"

"Your Majesty, what should we do?" the High Priest asked.

"Did the Mother have any other instructions?"

"Yes." The High Priest nodded solemnly, "Besides addressing this matter, the Oracle left a statent."

"What does it say?"

"At the ti of destruction, the fla of life will burn."

"The fla of life..."

The Elf Queen murmured softly, her gaze involuntarily falling on Lin You and the Divine Format in front of him.

Finally, she flickered away, disappearing from the spot.

"I’ll leave briefly, take good care of this Human Race," she instructed.

"As you command!"

The High Priest respectfully replied, bowing once more.
