Chapter 1051: Nirvanic Divine Lightning
TL: GoldenLung
Lan Xuanyu took a deep breath. Right—how could he forget about Dragon God Transformation? If he had activated it earlier, maybe suppressing the elental storm wouldn’t have been so difficult.
Also, if he had kept the elental storm smaller to begin with, there might not have been so much lightning, and it would’ve been easier—and safer—to control.
While summarizing his experience in his mind, he began adjusting his state according to Tang Wulin’s instructions.
His dragon core lit up, and multicolored light instantly spread throughout his body.
Dragon God Transformation!
Rainbow-hued scales covered his body, and he felt suddenly lighter. Using his enhanced bloodline power to deal with the lightning seed noticeably easier.
But this thing was like a ticking ti bomb.
After activating Dragon God Transformation, Lan Xuanyu eagerly guided the cluster of lightning into his right arm using his bloodline power.
Even with the protection of his bloodline energy, the lightning felt like it might explode at any second as it traveled through his body.
Suddenly, the speed of the transfer increased. Lan Xuanyu stiffened, and the four-colored lightning began violently surging within him.
Oh no… it’s going to explode…
In that instant, Lan Xuanyu desperately tried to control all his power to suppress the lightning—but it was too late. Once the lightning turned unstable, it seed nothing could stop its explosion.
His mind went completely blank. Am I going to die?
But just then, everything slowed down. Ti seed to freeze at that mont. Lan Xuanyu was stunned to find that the previously rampaging lightning suddenly cald. Everything reversed—the lightning returned to its original location, and even his body state was restored to just before he had activated Dragon God Transformation.
“To guide this kind of volatile power, you must stay calm—especially when your body still isn’t used to it. You don’t fully understand its properties yet, so you cannot afford even the slightest carelessness. Also, when you felt it was about to explode, why didn’t you use your Ti Freeze Spiritual Domain ? You had the ti,” Tang Wulin’s stern voice echoed in Lan Xuanyu’s mind.
Lan Xuanyu was briefly stunned but quickly felt a mix of relief and shock.
Ti domain—he was certain that Tang Wulin had just used a ti-type domain ability. Unlike his own Ti Freeze, Uncle Le’s spiritual domain could reverse ti, returning everything to its previous state. Such Divine Sense was truly powerful.
He was right—Tang Wulin had used his Ti Reversal Domain, a unique spiritual ability. In fact, Lan Xuanyu’s Ti Freeze domain was inherited from Tang Wulin, albeit in a slightly different form. Both Ti Freeze and Ti Reversal had their own advantages—it was hard to say which was stronger.
Lan Xuanyu now fully understood Tang Wulin’s guidance. He steadied himself and began another attempt.
This ti, he carefully enveloped the four-colored lightning in his bloodline energy and guided it through his body with extre stability. Whenever the lightning beca unstable, he used his Ti Freeze Domain to pause everything.
To his surprise, the four-colored lightning—though imnsely powerful—was highly sensitive to ti-related ntal energy. When he used Ti Freeze to regulate it, it quickly cald down and beca less agitated.
The process of moving the lightning was extrely painful. Lan Xuanyu advanced inch by inch, as if walking on a tightrope over a pit of fire. Eventually, the lightning reached his right hand. Even the simple motion of raising his hand made the lightning surge dangerously. He quickly used Ti Freeze to contain it—but this ti, his spiritual power ran out…
**Ti Reversal** activated again, returning him to the mont just before he activated Dragon God Transformation.
Lan Xuanyu’s heart sank. Sure, he had returned to a safe state—but all the pain and effort he had just endured had been in vain. He would have to start all over again.
“You have a strong spirit of adventure, but you lack stability. Again,” Tang Wulin’s voice rang out once more.
By now, Lan Xuanyu understood—Tang Wulin was using this training not only to increase his strength but also to temper his mindset.
So, he began yet another attempt. This ti, ard with more experience, things went a bit smoother. He took Tang Wulin’s words about “stability” to heart, cautiously controlling every step. With more practice ca fewer lightning flare-ups. That ant less use of Ti Freeze—and less ntal energy consud.
Finally, the lightning reached his palm. He slowly lifted his hand.
At this mont, in the center of Lan Xuanyu’s right palm, a strand of four-colored lightning slowly took shape.
“Now!” Tang Wulin called out. Lan Xuanyu opened his eyes and saw him standing far in the distance.
The lightning surged forward. As Lan Xuanyu released the four-colored lightning, he felt his body go limp and collapsed to the ground.
The lightning exploded in a blinding flash and reached Tang Wulin almost instantly.
Tang Wulin raised his hand and traced a circle—but this ti, the circle had no effect. The lightning exploded inside the circle, erupting in a deafening boom that engulfed him completely.
Lan Xuanyu stared in shock. What?!
But the next mont, he relaxed.
Tang Wulin still stood there. The four-colored lightning had turned into glowing energy and was slowly dissipating around him. It was clear he hadn’t been hard at all.
Tang Wulin nodded. “Not bad—that had the effect of a Tribulation Lightning. Not even your mother could produce a skill like that. I can’t either. This is a power unique to you. Master it well. It will beco one of your most powerful trump cards. Once combined with your battle techniques, it’ll be incredibly potent. You can na it.”
Lan Xuanyu blurted out, “Nirvanic Divine Lightning?” In the mont the lightning exploded, he had felt a force capable of destroying everything—energy, matter, spiritual power, even Divine Sense. It had almost torn apart this very Divine Sense space created by Tang Wulin. The only reason it didn’t was because Tang Wulin’s spirit was far stronger than the lightning.
“Good. Let’s go with that. The na is just a label. Now ditate and recover—we’ll go again. This ti, increase the lightning intensity by ten percent.”
Lan Xuanyu twitched. He had never feared hardship in training—but for the first ti, he genuinely felt daunted. The entire process was so painful, and a single misstep ant self-destruction! Even with the bloodlines of both the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King, without Uncle Le’s Ti Reversal Domain, he wouldn’t even have been able to try this—at least not until his cultivation reached a higher level.
Tang Wulin didn’t teach him anything else—he simply trained him in Nirvanic Divine Lightning. The process was excruciating. Every session, the intensity of the lightning increased. Every ti, Lan Xuanyu faced the risk of being blown apart. And each ti, he was saved by Ti Reversal.
It was agonizing. Even with Lan Xuanyu’s ntal fortitude, he was close to breaking. If not for Tang Wulin standing there, he might have considered giving up.
He even wanted to ask his father—Can’t we just wait until I’ve reached a higher level before practicing this?
