Chapter 639: Chapter 179: Path of Legends, Facing Death Head-On? (3)

"Of course, it’s the heart of a wizard yearning for magic. I’ve sworn on my Wizard’s Heart; I saw it with my own eyes, can there be any doubt?" Ian reminisced about the days of watching TV shows and reading novels in his past life.

He had indeed seen it with his own eyes.

"Hiss~"

Feeling the increasingly determined attitude of the little wizard, Pandro took a deep, sharp breath.

"Are you sure this still counts as Swordsmanship?" He retained a strong skeptical attitude toward Ian’s words. After all, he had wielded a sword for so many years and still possessed the basic inner clarity.

"Let’s chat more about this later; my ti’s up, I must leave." Ian also tid the expiration of his Experience Card perfectly, leaving Pandro with a puzzle likely to keep him tossing and turning for so ti.

He knew this guy’s personality too well.

"You’re unbearable!"

Pandro, of course, understood Ian’s little sches. Seeing Ian’s figure start to fade in the air, he could only sigh helplessly and quietly remind Ian.

"Step onto the Path of Legends sooner, then you won’t have so many troubleso restrictions." Pandro’s tone also carried a hint of certainty, as if he knew sothing the Little Wizard did not.

"Are you trying to keep

up at night?"

Ian showed his uncommon ability to guess others’ feelings by using his own.

"..."

Pandro was utterly speechless.

"Just like a child wielding a heavy sword, the rights you possess exceed the weight that your current Rank can bear... I don’t quite have your despicable nature."

He explained seriously.

The Little Wizard’s figure vanished completely into the Misty Illusion Realm after his words fell, leaving the harmonious small town with Ariana, still captivated by Ian’s "whimsical ideas."

And Pandro, still grumbling incessantly.

"This nonsense of crossing ti, crossing space, cutting through the past, cutting through the future... sounds like a biographical story." He wasn’t particularly disturbed in his inner clarity by Ian’s words.

Just sulking because he couldn’t find evidence to refute Ian.

"If we add so magic to the Swordsmanship, could that achieve such effects?" Ariana also let her imagination run wild; her words left Pandro slightly stunned.

"Who knows; I’m no Wizard... everyone has their own path, I’m just laying the groundwork for you, but Ultimately, you’ll still need to find your own way."

Pandro’s words were of unknown encouragent.

Ariana pondered deeply.

"Keep practicing; there’s still plenty of room for improvent in your Swordsmanship." Pandro continued to urge Ariana, who returned from her thoughts and imdiately concentrated on practicing Swordsmanship.

Swordsmanship.

Body Technique.

These were the things Ariana was practicing, with considerable effort. As ti passed, sweat began to bead on her forehead. Her cheeks flushed, and her breathing beca more rapid. However, she didn’t stop wielding the sword; instead, she focused even more intently on her practice.

The sunlight cast a long shadow over her, swaying gracefully with her movents. The air was filled with the faint fragrance of flowers and the freshness of leaves, occasionally crossed by butterflies or bees, adding vitality and life to the tranquil square. The rigorous training continued.

Sweat dripped down her cheeks and fell to the ground beneath her feet. The girl might occasionally feel lazy, but she never cut corners when practicing.

Focus and diligence were Ariana’s virtues.

However.

Pandro seed still unsatisfied.

"You need to be even more diligent."

He sighed lightly.

"It’s for your own good and for everyone else." Pandro raised his hand towards the sky, a delicate ring on his finger glimred in the sunlight.

"Only by truly becoming a Valkyrie can you bear the... weight of being an Angel." The boy’s soft whispers reverberated in the town of flowers and grass.

No one heard.

Likewise, no one witnessed.

...

Ian’s thoughts gradually returned.

He first heard chaotic noises beside him.

"Rumble~ Rumble~"

The cacophony grew clearer, accompanied by Ian opening his eyes, outside the castle, torrential rain poured down like drums, accompanied by a frigid winter wind, raging wildly.

It howled through the castle’s gaps, producing wailing-like sounds; thunder roared across the sky like nature playing a grand symphony.

"Finally, another Mysterious Night."

Ian gently sat up. The dim candlelight from the finely carved bedside lamp cast a warm and yellow glow, contrasting sharply with the stormy wind and rain outside.

Of course, inside the room, the snoring of two roommates was quite loud, but Ian was long accustod to it and could automatically ignore the slightly complentary sounds of his roommates sleeping.

"Legend..." Ian’s mind was still reflecting on Pandro’s words. Honestly, he knew little about this identity that clearly symbolized a certain status level.

Indeed.

Even though he was a rather mockable Half-Step Legend, Ian was still quite lost regarding the Path of Legends; this road, destined for self-discovery, was challenging to discern its direction.

"A true Legend possesses not only unparalleled magic power and mighty magic; magic power and magic are basic. There is sothing more important that I have yet to realize."
