Michael Gordon was startled by his own bold speculation, only to be frightened again by an anxious voice coming his direction.

that Roy is missing too?”
At that mont, Oliver Thompson was searching for Roy Thompson, and although he hadn’t said anything, it was clear what happened.

Michael Gordon’s face stiffened, and he pretty much understood the situation.

He had reviewed the surveillance footage back and forth and found not many traces. It was evident that it was done by soone skilled in this area, who knew to deliberately avoid the caras. Even capturing Bella Gordon was from the only cara that was installed in a secluded corner.

“Oliver, have you found Roy? I just searched Bianca’s room, and she’s not there either!”
Before she could finish her sentence, Julie Harrison cried out and rushed towards Oliver Thompson, her legs gave way and she almost kneeled before him, but fortunately, Oliver Thompson was quick to act and didn’t let her fall.
Considering the previous incident where both kids sneaked out with her and ended up in Boss Dunn’s hands, suffering such an ordeal, it left a deep shadow in Julie Harrison’s heart. She couldn’t even bear to imagine such a scene happening again and whether she could withstand it!

With such a high salary, obedience was the only response to any order, absolute obedience!
“What do we do now?” Oliver Thompson glanced at the tense body of the woman in his arms and raised his eyebrows at Michael Gordon. It was clear that he expected an idea from him. Oliver was rely an aide; their target was Bella Gordon, and the focus of the attack was Michael Gordon.
“First, get your woman out of here, calm her down, then co find !”
Michael Gordon didn’t even glance at him as he directly took out his phone and dialed. As he expected, the call went to voicemail. Under normal circumstances, Michael Gordon would have waited for the other party to beco impatient and call first, but now was different. The chip he held was Bella Gordon, and he couldn’t afford to be calm about it.
When the call didn’t go through, Michael Gordon sent an email to Alya Larson. He used every communication tool available to him and still couldn’t get in touch with Alya Larson. Clearly, the woman hadn’t escaped the island yet.
Otherwise, with such a significant chip in hand, she would have used it by now!
She had been out of his sight for over two hours since Ivy Aretha gave birth, which was enough ti to leave but also enough reason to stay!

Back in the room, when Oliver Thompson put the woman down, she burst into tears, “Will Roy and Bianca really be in danger?”
After all, she was a woman; no matter how strong, she was still a woman. Julie Harrison’s tears finally brought back the woman most familiar to the man. Oliver Thompson stood numb, letting the woman desperately cling to his waist from behind, refusing to let him go. His back was soaked with her tears. After their reunion, this was the first ti she had shown such dependency on him.
He thought that after Nalan Harrison’s death, the willful woman who used to cling to him would never be seen again. He believed that even if she still cared for him in her heart and was willing to be with him, it was rely willingness at best, akin to fondness but not love!
Fondness ant being able to live together and do anything with the person she liked, but if they parted, that was it. It lacked the deep-seated dependency of true love. He had thought that Julie Harrison’s feelings toward him had dwindled to just that!
After all, Nalan Harrison had died because of him. Though it was Amanda Foster’s doing, the ultimate root cause was him. Without him, even if Amanda Foster had wanted to do such a thing, she would have no reason, excuse, nor the boldness. As a son or daughter, Julie Harrison’s decision to continue being his comforting partner and live a normal married life was already an imnse act of tolerance!
Being as dependent on him as she had been before was sothing he had never even considered!
