Chapter 20: Troublemaker

—Gallop

—gallop

Inside a forest densely populated by trees. A hoard of horse riders could be seen galloping down a cleared path. Among them were Leon and Arian.

Arian was in the middle of the horde, anwhile Leon was seated behind her, closely pressed up against her back.

"Hmp!!" To the side, several of the hunters of the tamlin group expressed their displeasure with the scene subtly.

In actual fact, Arian was a very good-looking lady with beautiful and proportionate curves. If not for her prideful attitude, a lot of the n in the group would be constantly fawning over her beauty. So seeing Leon pressed up against her was bound to stir displeasure in their hearts.

They even asked her to leave Leon back at the camp, but she gave the excuse that she wanted him in her sights at all tis, as such, they had no choice but to accept. After all, if Leon escaped, it would be her facing the music.

"It's up ahead" at the front of the troops,

a man with blonde hair and blue eyes shouted.

This caused Leon and the rest to gradually slow down, and eventually, they ca to a halt in front of a small slope. "There" Down the slope was a massive opening devoid of grass, there tents could be seen pressed up against a mountain.

"Okay, blade troop, you're with , we'll press into the mountain area and attack the enemy. anwhile, the rest can clean the pests in the outer region"

The blonde hunter commanded. He was the leader of this expedition. In terms of strength though, Arian and him were equal, but in status it was not the sa, so he could naturally put her on clean up duty.

"Charge" straightening his back, the bulky blond Knight pointed his sword forward and commanded. From inside the troops, a particular set in black iron amour Rode out with full force.

"Sigh, follow" Arian said to the remaining n, and they slowly approached the camp of the warlocks.

Currently, there were several teams of hunters from the tamlin group attacking the gray salamander clan, anwhile to the side, another faction from the tamlin group was attacking the Jakel clan.

It was a united attack. And they were just the finishing party.

"Brace yourself" Arian said to Leon calmly, while they rode forward. The blade troop was a special group of level 1 mages, they had initiated the first charge and cut through the warlocks like butter before proceeding deeper into the camp. Arian's group couldn't let the Warlocks attack from behind.

And so Arian's level 0 troops rushed forward and engaged the enemies, unimportant skirmishes like these usually comprised of level 0 fighters and warlocks. Those who didn't really have power.

"Calnor, your turn" Arian said causally while her eyes stayed glued to the back of the enemy troop where a man her age stood with a blue leather amour on. That was her opponent. A level 2 warlock

"Okay" the person Arian commanded nodded before signalling his little team to prepare. They were the second wave, although they weren't much, being around 16. They could pack a serious punch because they were level 1 mage warriors. Elites in these types of battles.

The difference between level 1 and level 0 was like that between ordinary people and those with superpowers. A spell from a level 1 mage could be devastating to any level 0 fighter.

"Formation!!!" The man called Calnor raised his voice while moving forward simultaneously. Soon he was accompanied by his n and they ford a triangular formation.

"Shit!! They still have their level 1 mages" the leader of this troop of the gray salamander clan knitted his brows. In the first wave, his level 1 fighters suffered a clean blow before the enemy went into the camp.

He thought that group which was made of level 1 fighters was the only group of level 1 fighters they had. He didn't know they still had this much.

"Fine!! I kill them myself" Pulling the reigns on his horse, the leader moved forward with lighten speed. His target? Calnor and his n.

But just as he moved.....

"Hold tight" Arian cautioned Leon. She saw the enemy movent and was prepared to respond in kind at the mont's notice.

—woosh

Arian's horse breezed past calnors group in seconds, even though they started moving before her.

—shhh

Like a domineering gust of wind, Arian's sword cut through the air and slashed directly at her opponent.

(Crap!! Where did she co from?)

He hadn't even made it out of the battlefield where the level 0 fighters were engaging each other and Arian, who was way over there a few seconds ago, had already gotten so close to Him?

It was absurd!!

However, he didn't have the opportunity to make sense of it yet, he had to defend himself from Arians incoming attack.

—Clang!!

Removing a scimitar from his back, he hurriedly blocked the incoming attack.

"Hmp!!" Arian sneered. He managed to block her, but his scimitar had been cut into two because of her montum, and he was pushed back.

"F*cking b*tch!!" The man scread before pulling out a second scimitar and thrusting towards Arian.

—Woo

Arian easily swung to the side and dodged. She was skilled at horse riding, so when she dodges her horse would usually be in a position where it couldn't get hurt.

But for a split second, she forgot sothing important. Her passenger.

"Hmm??" Arian hurriedly turned back to see if Leon had been attacked. But to her surprise, he was completely gone.

Around 40 ters away from her, Leon could be seen walking leisurely around the battlefield. Acting like this battlefield was his sitting room or sothing.

"You fucker" grinting her teeth, a look of annoyance appeared on her face. By leaving her side, Leon had put her in a delicate situation. If he began running right now, she would have no choice but to chase him with her full strength. But then again, the person she was currently clashing with was not a joke. He, just like her, was in level 2, A single mistake and she would be dead.

"Puuu" with a casual look on his face, Leon whistled while walking around anwhile maintaining a good distance from Arians battle.
