If he knew about it, how could he possibly stay calm and not confront her?
Jian Qing asked, “You lied to him and told him you were a month behind. What will you do when you reach your due date and the child is born?”
In her opinion, no secret can be kept forever, and Khan is not a fool.
“I’ll cross that bridge when I co to it. Worst cos to worst, I’ll just say the baby was born prematurely.” Xiya retorted.
She didn’t even forgive him. Why would she need to justify anything?
Besides, the little white lotus, Daisy, hasn’t been dealt with yet.

“Has he been coming here every day to keep you company?”

Jian Qing chuckled lightly, “Alright, don’t be angry. Don’t get stressed out over her.”
“Why would I get upset over such a person? It’s not worth it.” Xiya shrugged nonchalantly.

Following the eting, the senior executives left. Shen Hao followed Quan Jingwu into his office.
“Boss!”
“Has the stuff been delivered?”
Quan Jingwu crossed his legs, his gaze landing on the computer screen.
“It has been sent. It should arrive by tomorrow.” Shen Hao reported.
“How’s the preparation for the task I assigned?”
“Everything is ready.” A faint smile flashed in Shen Hao’s eyes, accompanied by a flicker of excitent.
A gentle ripple spread across Quan Jingwu’s eyes, followed by a slight curve of his lips.
“Get everything in order for tomorrow night. You won’t have to work overti for a week.”
“Yes!” The re ntion of not having to work overti had Shen Hao feeling on top of the world.
“You can leave now.”
Shen Hao respectfully nodded, picked up the signed docunts on the table, and left.
Quan Jingwu drumd his fingertips on the table, a aningful light flashing through his deep gaze.
After a while, he reached for the phone and dialed Jian Luo’s number.
It wasn’t long till Jian Luo’s voice ca through the receiver.
“Quan Jingwu, what kind of wind blew today that made you call ?”
Quan Jingwu’s lips quirked up, his deep voice resounding, “Jian Luo, I need a favor.”
At hearing this, a surprised look crossed Jian Luo’s face as he checked the mobile number again.
Was it indeed Quan Jingwu’s number?

“Nothing cos for free. So, what do you need?”
“Help
design a wedding dress.” Quan Jingwu stated his intent.
“A wedding dress?” Jian Luo asked incredulously, “Are you going to marry my sister?”

“Not now.” Quan Jingwu replied.
Jian Luo let out a sigh of relief, “Then when?”
“After the New Year, probably by spring.”
“Why did you choose that ti?” Jian Luo asked without hesitation.
“Your sister doesn’t like the cold.” An unintentional tenderness seeped through his low voice, enough to make anyone drown in his careful indulgence.
Jian Luo couldn’t help but laugh, promptly agreeing, “Since you’re so understanding, I’ll take care of designing your wedding outfits.”
His earliest dream as a designer was to make a wedding dress for his sister when she got married.
“Thank you!”
For the first ti, these two normally at loggerheads had a pleasant conversation.
anwhile, Jian Qing was dragged by Xiya for a prenatal checkup. As they left the Obstetrics and Gynecology Departnt, Jian Qing turned to Xiya, who was cradling her belly, and let out a helpless smile.

“Hey, isn’t that the fly we ran into at Qianshi Restaurant last ti?”
Upon hearing this, Jian Qing followed her gaze. Not far off, a woman wearing sunglasses, a mask, and a hat was sitting on a bench, bundled up from head to toe.
Despite that, she still recognized the woman.
