Chapter 243: 243, Tid Bomb (4)_1

“You really don’t mind?” Bai Jue asked tentatively.

Jian Luo nodded, looking at Bai Jue questioningly, “So, you really have a crush on Black Jack? I told you Black Jack has a girlfriend, so you—”

“Stop!” Bai Jue glared at him irritably, interrupting him, “I would never develop feelings for soone as arrogant as Black Jack. Besides, I prefer won, I’m a true man, OK?”

“Then why did you ask

such a bizarre question?” Jian Luo asked, confused.

Bai Jue suddenly felt like he had shot himself in the foot. What was he trying to get at?

“I was just joking with you earlier, I really fucking hate Black Jack, I don’t like him at all, don’t believe , ask your sister.”

Fearing his further questions, Bai Jue quickly invoked the na of Jian Qing.

Jian Luo gave a dismissive smirk, giving him a sidelong glance, “Fine, I’ll believe you this ti.”

Bai Jue let out a sigh of relief, grateful for the montary peace.

“But if you really do like Black Jack, don’t get your hopes up too high, after all, he…”

Before he could finish, Bai Jue let out a panicked screech.

Jian Luo looked at him as if he was a lunatic, his tone solemn, “Bai Jue, have you gone mad from stress?”

Bai Jue, “…”

Taking a deep breath, he patted Jian Luo’s shoulder, shook his head and said seriously, “Jian Luo, although I’m a skilled doctor, I’m helpless when it cos to curing low EQ.”

“You…” just as Jian Luo was about to ask what he ant, he was interrupted again.

“So, live well and cherish each day!” Bai Jue put on a serious face, then turned around and left.

Talking to soone with a low EQ truly is a tricky task.

Jian Luo watched his retreating figure, scratching his head in confusion.

What kind of illness was this, coming and going in waves?

J City, nightfall.

The wind picked up, and pedestrians in the bustling streets quickened their pace.

In a suite at the Fusheng Hotel, a group of muscular n were kneeling on the floor, heads bowed respectfully.

A man in black sat on the sofa, his dark skin and square face highlighted by a scar that stretched from the corner of his eye to his chin—intimidating to say the least.

This was Dufeng, the man that Ouyang Yu was looking to arrest.

Opening his eyes, he glanced at the n kneeling on the floor, his voice was gruff, “Ouyang Yu’s n raided our bases in J City, and you only report this to

now. Are you guys only good for eating?”

He scorned, that bastard Ouyang Yu, he better not fall into his hands.

The harsh voice carried a touch of thunderous rage; the burly n on the floor shivered, bowing their heads even lower.

“Boss, there’s big trouble.”

The door swung open and a man in a dark green casual suit strode in.

Already in a bad mood, Dufeng impatiently asked, “What’s happened now?”

“Boss, our people found out that Quan Jingwu is also residing in this hotel.” The man said with a heavy expression.

“What did you say?” Dufeng bolted up from his seat.

“Quan Jingwu is currently in this hotel.” The man repeated.

Upon hearing this, Dufeng’s gaze deepened. Why would Quan Jingwu appear here at this ti?

“Boss, although Quan Jingwu is not on the sa team as Ouyang Yu, he is still a mber of the Quan Family. I think, maybe we should leave tonight.” The man suggested cautiously.

Dufeng shot a glare at him, and the man imdiately fell silent.

“Inform the others that the handover location has changed. The specific ti and place will be given later. Prepare the plane imdiately.”

His n had always been careful, but this ti, Ouyang Yu had found all their bases in J City. Perhaps he even knew about their trading location. Going there now was like walking into a trap.

Moreover, how could Quan Jingwu coincidentally be in J City, and staying in the sa hotel as him? There must be sothing fishy going on.

“Yes,” the man nodded, turning to leave.

Dufeng, “Wait.”

The man turned back, “Boss, is there sothing else?”

“Plant a bomb in this room, and rember to destroy the hotel’s surveillance.” Dufeng squinted his eyes, emitting a chilling malice.

“Yes.” The man turned to the henchn on the floor and waved, “You few, co with .”

The henchn saw that Dufeng had no objections and quickly got up to follow the man out. The remaining few stayed in the room to plant the bomb.

Dufeng looked at his n setting up the bomb, an undercurrent of ruthlessness flowing in his eyes as he kicked the coffee table.

Ouyang Yu, Quan Jingwu!

In no ti, the man in the dark green suit returned.

“Boss, the vehicle is ready, the surveillance will be dismantled in three minutes, and the plane is waiting in the suburbs.”

Dufeng nodded, picked up the suitcase from the sofa, adjusted the hat and mask on his head, and said, “Let’s go.”

To avoid attracting attention, the henchn dispersed and went downstairs, while the man in the dark green suit stayed by Dufeng’s side.

Just as Dufeng was about to get into the car, he felt a cold gaze on him from behind. He looked around but saw nothing unusual.

Suddenly, he rembered sothing, took out a pair of binoculars from the car and looked up.

A face hardened from cold ruthlessness t his gaze. Dufeng let out a cruel smile, took a remote control for the ti bomb from his pocket and shook it.

“Let’s go!”

He threw the binoculars aside, got into the car and shut the door.

Upstairs, standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, Shen Hao watched the car kicking up dust as it left, his eyebrows furrowed.

“Boss, do we just let them go?”

That damn Dufeng, actually planting a bomb in the hotel room. What a low, despicable move.

“Has Ouyang Yu’s people arrived?” Quan Jingwu withdrew his gaze, there was no hint of panic on his face.

“They’ve arrived, they’re in the room defusing the bomb now.” Shen Hao inford.

Dufeng was placing his bets. If they chased after him now, he would undoubtedly detonate the bomb imdiately. The Fusheng Hotel was located in the most prosperous area of J City. If the bomb exploded, it would not only affect the people in the hotel, but those around the hotel as well, causing extensive casualties.

Quan Jingwu’s purple eyes narrowed, his scarlet lip curling up slightly.

At that mont, Qiao Yu, who should have been in Beijing, walked in, his eyes glinting with a victorious light.

“Boss!”

“Qiao Yu, what are you doing here?” Shen Hao asked, surprised.

“Of course, I’m here to give a ‘gift’ to Dufeng’s n.” Qiao Yu replied with a smirk.

Shen Hao’s eyes sparkled with excitent, “Could it be that you…”

“Bingo, it seems you have figured it out.” Qiao Yu snapped his fingers and nodded.
