Chapter 1159: 1136, Extra Story Seventeen (18)
“Xi An’an.”
The voice was shrill, brimming with anger.
The staff looked over at the sound, full of curiosity.
“She really is like a bad penny.” Xu Ran stood beside Xi An’an, and upon seeing Xi Yu, her eyes filled with disdain.
“An’an, wait here; I’ll go and deal with her.”
No sooner had she finished speaking than Xu Ran was already headed down to the stage.
Xi Yu, blocked by the staff, had an extrely ugly look on her face.
“Why are you the one to co over, where is Xi An’an, tell her to co out,” Xi Yu said, her face turning instantly sullen when she saw Xu Ran.
“I heard the Xi family has been quite busy with dignitaries these past few days. Miss Xi should be helping out, so how co she has ti to co to us?” Xu Ran said with a sneering smile.
Xi Yu’s face flushed red with anger, almost to the point of frenzy, upon detecting the irony in her words.
“I won’t talk to you, let Xi An’an co out.”
Xu Ran frowned, “An’an is too busy to see you; you can leave now.”
“Xi An’an, co out here, you co out right now,” Xi Yu yelled, pushing aside the staff who were blocking her, her voice shrill.
Xi An’an ca out, glancing at her indifferently.
“Xi An’an, I need to talk to you alone,” said Xi Yu.
“But I don’t want to talk to you,” Xi An’an replied coldly.
Rembering her father’s words from the day before, Xi Yu clenched her teeth to contain her anger, “I won’t take up much of your ti, just a few minutes, then I’ll leave.”
“An’an, don’t bother with her,” said Xu Ran.
“You…” Xi Yu glared at her fiercely, while Xu Ran returned a look of disdain with a smile.
“Fine, just five minutes,” Xi An’an agreed, well aware of Xi Yu’s temperant; if she was not allowed to finish speaking, she would likely make an incessant scene.
The two entered the Resting Room and, as soon as the door closed, Xi Yu imdiately revealed a hideous expression.
“Xi An’an, what exactly do you want?”
Xi An’an swept her gaze over Xi Yu disdainfully, “Xi Yu, if you want to throw a tantrum here, I don’t have ti to entertain you.”
“Xi An’an, what do you want before you’ll persuade Quan Tianqi to leave the Xi family alone?” Xi Yu asked.
Xi An’an’s voice was calm and detached, “Your issues with him are your own business; what does that have to do with ?”
“If it wasn’t for you, Quan Tianqi would never have targeted us. Xi An’an, if you still acknowledge yourself as a part of the Xi family, then promptly tell Quan Tianqi to back off,” Xi Yu commanded in a tone that was rather annoying.
“If you have said your piece, then you can leave now,” Xi An’an said coldly.
“You… Xi An’an, even if you don’t care about the Xi family raising you all these years, at least for our great-grandfather’s sake… If the Xi family collapses, do you think the spirit of our great-grandfather would rest in peace?” Xi Yu tried to persuade her by appealing to family ties.
Xi An’an’s gaze remained steady, “Xi Yu, stop using our great-grandfather as an excuse. The situation has developed to this point entirely because of your own doings. I have no desire to vie with you over anything, yet you insist on troubling . At this juncture, there’s nothing I can do to help you.”
“So you’re saying, you’re absolutely determined to bring down the Xi Group?” she asked.
Xi An’an replied, “Think whatever you want.”
“You… Xi An’an, it seems like you’re asking to be punished instead of respected,” Xi Yu said, her face darkening and eyes fixed on her ominously.
Xi An’an glanced at her coolly and stated matter-of-factly, “Will you walk out on your own, or shall I have soone throw you out?”
“Xi An’an, you little wretch, how dare you speak to
like that!” Xi Yu flung her bag aside and lunged at her with bared claws.
She was aiming straight for Xi An’an’s face.
Xi An’an’s eyes turned frosty. She sidestepped gracefully, avoiding the attack with ease.
Then she deftly grabbed Xi Yu’s wrist and with a clean judo throw, sent her sprawling on the ground, her face twisted in pain as she gasped for air.
“Holy cow, I almost missed a great show,” Xu Ran, who was outside when she heard the commotion, quickly pushed the door open and burst into laughter at the sight of Xi Yu lying on the floor in agony, her laughter reminding one of a pig’s snort.
“An’an, aweso,” she raised her thumb in approval.
The other staff mbers who ca in with her nodded in agreent, like pecking chickens.
After a confirming glance, there was no doubt that she was a tough woman.
Xi An’an withdrew her hand and said indifferently, “Throw her out.” She was tired of being bullied repeatedly as if she were easily squashed like soft persimmon.
“Roger that,” Xu Ran cheerfully agreed, relishing this kind of task.
She turned to the other staff mbers and whispered a few words, then looked at Xi Yu with a mix of pity and schadenfreude.
Minutes later, Xi Yu was tossed out, along with her bag, her white dress on the verge of turning grey.
