Chapter 1116: 1101, Extra Story Nineteen (2)

Jian Tianlin looked up to see a petite figure crashing into his arms.

His face turned cold, and he was about to push the person in his arms away when he t the girl’s spirited eyes, which softened his expression a bit.

“Maomao, why is it you?”

“Tianlin, soone has been bullying .” Maomao saw him and imdiately felt emboldened.

Jian Tianlin frowned. Who else could bully this little witch?

“Hey kid, hand over the girl in your arms, and we won’t trouble you,” the man who caught up, donned in a flashy floral shirt, exuded hooliganism from head to toe.

Jian Tianlin glanced at him indifferently, noting the soaked-through shirt and the blood flowing endlessly from a wound on his forehead. The corner of his mouth curled slightly.

“Trouble ?” His voice suddenly turned cold, “Are you worthy?”

“You little brat, if you don’t drink a toast, you’ll have to drink a penalty,” the man in the floral shirt said with a hand covering the wound on his forehead, his gaze fierce as he looked at Jian Tianlin.

“Get him.”

The n following behind charged at Jian Tianlin fiercely, so even wielding daggers in their hands.

“Stand aside.” Tianlin pulled Maomao to one side and pushed her gently, speaking in a calm voice.

“Tianlin, I’m rooting for you.” Maomao hid to the side, waving her fists and smiling cheerfully, showing no sign of fear.

“…”

He felt he really shouldn’t have co here tonight.

Out of the corner of his eye, Jian Tianlin spotted a dagger swinging toward him. His lips pressed thinly together, and he moved through the crowd like a shadow.

Wherever he went, there were screams.

“Tianlin, go for it, go for it…” Maomao squatted in a corner, watching the n writhing in pain on the ground, smiling with schadenfreude.

Those n looked fierce, but their combat power was laughably weak. In less than two minutes, Jian Tianlin had taken care of them.

The sounds of the fight quickly drew the Club’s Manager and the Security, who, upon seeing the person standing not too far away, hurried over.

“Young Master Jian, are you alright?” he asked obsequiously. If this prince got into trouble at their place, everyone there would suffer.

“Leave the rest to you.”

After speaking, Jian Tianlin turned to Maomao, a trace of warmth in his gaze, “Still want to stay here?”

“Of course not.” Maomao stood up, ran to his side and then “accidentally” stepped on the arm of the man in the floral shirt.

Having left the Club, Jian Tianlin looked at the person following closely beside him, pausing, “How did you end up here and get into trouble with those guys?”

Maomao shook her hand, the corners of her eyes curving up, her long lashes fluttering, “I ca to play, of course. It’s too boring at ho. So idiot tried to flirt with , so I smashed a wine bottle on his head. Who knew the guy had backup.”

So, when she couldn’t beat them, the only option was to run.

“Didn’t your daddy tell you to be a lady?” Jian Tianlin gave her a once-over, teasingly said, “If he finds out you ca here, it’d be enough to make him furious.”

“What lady? It’s not nearly as fun as flirting with girls and teasing handso guys,” Maomao adjusted the brim of her cap, saying cheerfully.

“You’re clearly a girl, why the act like you’re one of the guys?” Tianlin looked at the duck-billed cap on her head, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he snatched the cap from her head without warning.

In that instant, her long, cascading hair fell about her shoulders.

Her golden wavy curls highlighted her snow-white skin, making her look like a doll-like little princess when she was quiet and not speaking.

“Ah, Tianlin, are you asking for a beating?” Maomao glared at him, reaching to snatch back her cap, “Ruining my hairstyle is ruining my ga. Don’t you understand? Give

my cap back now.”

“Is this how you treat your savior?” Jian Tianlin raised his hand high, taking advantage of his height as he looked down at her puffed-up appearance, joking with a laugh.

Suddenly, Maomao’s eyes lit up, and the corners of her mouth carried a pleasing smile, “Tianlin, I’d like to discuss sothing with you.”

“Who’s your brother, don’t just say whatever,” Jian Tianlin said evenly, “There’s nothing to discuss, I have other matters to attend to, I’m leaving now.”

No sooner had he finished speaking than he placed the cap back on her head.

They had all played together since childhood; whenever she flashed that sort of smile, it definitely ant no good.

“Co on, we had a revolutionary kind of bond when we were kids, you can’t just abandon ,” Maomao grabbed his arm, her face brimming with a sycophantic smile.

“Revolutionary kind of bond?” Jian Tianlin looked at her with skepticism, “Are you sure?”

Maomao nodded, “Does stealthily eating lollipops count?”

“…”

A figurative dark line streaked across Jian Tianlin’s forehead as he shook off her hand, “Goodbye, I’m not seeing you out.”

“Tianlin, I’ve got nowhere to go, just take

in for the night, please. I know you’re the kindest, look, it’s so late now and it’s snowing. How unsafe would it be for a little girl like

to be out on the streets, right?” Maomao implored pitifully.

Jian Tianlin cracked a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, unsafe for her?

What a joke.

In his view, it was everyone else who was in danger.

No, that’s not right, why was she acting so out of character today?

He asked with a aningful tone, “Have you gotten yourself into trouble?”

“Not at all,” she replied too quickly, which only made her seem guiltier.

Jian Tianlin looked at her leisurely, “Alright then, you’re not telling , so I’ll leave now. If you have nowhere to go, I can call Uncle Khan to pick you up.”

“No no, I’ll tell you, isn’t that enough?” Maomao pouted and cleared her throat, “I broke my mom’s most treasured cara.”

Given her mother’s temperant, if she went back now, she was definitely in for trouble.

He knew she must have caused so major trouble. Aunt Xiya treasured her cara imnsely, and Maomao managed to break not just any cara but the most prized one. She was really asking for a spanking.

“Then I can’t help you either, wish you a quick death and a swift rebirth, goodbye.” Jian Tianlin smiled and opened the car door, getting in.

Maomao quickly followed, sitting in the car and slamming the door shut with a “bang”.

“What are you doing coming up here?” Jian Tianlin asked, hand on the steering wheel, turning to look at her.

Maomao clasped her hands together, “I’ve got nowhere to go, I’m begging you, Tianlin, please take

in for just one night.”

“Where were you staying before?” Jian Tianlin asked.

“At a hotel,” she answered.

“Then why don’t you just go back there?”

“I only brought cash with , I left my cards at ho. Now I’m completely broke, please take

in.” Maomao pinched her own thigh and managed to squeeze out a couple of tears.

The mont she used her card, her mother would definitely co charging over.

“What would you have done if you hadn’t run into

tonight?” Jian Tianlin pressed his hand to his forehead.

Maomao said, “I would’ve looked for Shanshan.”

“Fasten your seatbelt.”

PINCHING the bridge of his nose, Jian Tianlin let out a helpless sigh and drove off.

Maomao fastened her seatbelt with a grin, “I knew Tianlin was the best.”

“Swallow that nickna back,” Jian Tianlin said through gritted teeth upon hearing “Tianlin”.

So what if she was a few months older than him, what’s there to strut about.
