The young Bai Feizhan, holding a gift box nearly his size, said with a grin, “Shanshan, this is a gift I picked for you. Happy Birthday.”
“Thank you.” Shanshan bead, stretching out her arms for a hug.
One hug made the little friend Bai Feizhan smile so much his eyes disappeared.
“Shanshan, let
carry it inside for you.”
Shanshan nodded, glanced at the direction of the gate, and then went inside with them.
“Wow, your whole family is quite early.” Jian Qing teased upon seeing Bai Jue’s family arrive.
“Early? Do you have any idea this little brat woke us up before dawn just to pick an outfit, which took almost an hour?” Bai Jue complained unapologetically about his son.
Having a son is truly a way to settle old scores.
Everyone laughed, looking at Bai Feizhan whispering to Shanshan with a helplessly amused expression on their faces.
“Shanshan, do you have any birthday wishes?” Bai Feizhan asked, curious.
Shanshan’s eyes curved as she nodded, “Yeah.”
“What is it?” Bai Feizhan pressed, and the others were also curious.
Little Miss Shanshan pursed her lips, “I won’t tell you. Birthday wishes won’t co true if you say them out loud.”
Bai Feizhan suddenly rembered the last ti he made a birthday wish, he blurted it all out, and couldn’t help but feel slightly depressed.
