Chapter 11: Chapter 7: Orphanage 2

Chen Xiao avoided the cara and sneakily glanced at the note.

It read “Wait until dark.”

“So sothing changes after dark,” Chen Xiao looked at the figure of Bai Xiong, “He seems to know a lot.”

As he thought, he walked into the fourth classroom and then frowned.

This classroom was different from the previous three. It was noticeably larger, and the desks were not individual ones but long tables that could seat four or five people, with a total of seven rows. The table legs were nailed to the floor and couldn’t be moved. An old model computer sat on the lecturer’s desk, with a large monitor known colloquially as the “big-headed doll”, and a large projection screen hung on the wall behind it.

This was probably used for etings and announcents in the orphanage.

However, what was most concerning was the floor of this conference room, which was a ss with candles everywhere. The curtains were pulled down and thrown on the floor, and the last row of tables was overturned.

Mr. Zou’s voice inevitably echoed, “Please turn on the flashlights and do not cover the caras…” This ti his voice was very serious, lacking the previous drowsiness. “Candles on the floor?”

“Yes… there are many candles, and the tables are covered in candle wax,” Bai Xiong said.

Chen Xiao suddenly paused. He glanced lightly at Bai Xiong, as if he had realized sothing.

Mr. Zou continued to order, “Describe what you see, in detail.”

“It seems that the last group of people never ca here,” Chen Xiao thought.

After a round of observations and descriptions, everyone could guess that, six months ago on a certain day, many people had gathered here, lighting candles all around… what were they doing? So sort of ceremony?

Afterward, there had been a fight here. The situation was very intense then, and the tables in the last row had been smashed with great force, with the screws embedded in the cent bending.

Just as everyone was analyzing what exactly had happened in this classroom half a year ago

“~Hehe~”

Suddenly, a child’s laughter echoed down the hallway, faint yet particularly creepy in this environnt.

Liu Yi shuddered and shouted out loud, “Augh!” The typically quiet Jia Renliang also shivered, clearly startled.

anwhile, Bai Xiong imdiately rushed out… shining his flashlight around.

Of course, the hallway was empty, with nothing in sight.

“No one around?” Chen Xiao casually stuck his hands in his pockets and peeked out, looking around.

Inside, Liu Yi had just recovered from his shock and began to rant, “I knew it, I knew from the beginning, this place must be haunted!” His emotions were intense, “I shouldn’t have signed that damn contract! It’s just cybercri, there’s definitely a chance to appeal!!”

He continued to shout, acting both regretful and angry, but Chen Xiao noticed that amidst his hysterical roaring, he very subtly slipped sothing into his pocket.

At that mont, Mr. Zou’s voice harshly ca through the earphones, “Quiet! Mind your behavior!”

Liu Yi ignored him and continued to yell, “Quiet? You’re sending us to our deaths! You lied to us! What exactly happened here?”

“You have five seconds to calm down!” Mr. Zou said coldly. At the sa ti, a crimson light began to flash on Liu Yi’s earpiece, emitting a “beep-beep” sound!

Liu Yi suddenly froze, looking sowhat at a loss.

“Oh… sorry, I’m a bit nervous, please… turn this thing off!” he stamred.

“I understand you, but as I said at the beginning, you must obey and do as I say, and not ask questions you shouldn’t! Got it!” Mr. Zou spoke sternly, though his voice seed a bit unclear.

A silence followed, Chen Xiao calmly watched the still slightly panicked Liu Yi. “He’s acting quite realistically, considering he’s a death row inmate. They’re all no simple characters,” he thought, suddenly finding it very amusing and unwittingly grinning an ugly smile.

“Now, please… go directly to the third floor!” Mr. Zou continued.

“Hmm? There was a slight pause, he wasn’t initially going to say go to the third floor,” Chen Xiao thought. “Is sothing about to happen?”

“Please hurry up, now!” Mr. Zou urged again

At that mont, Chen Xiao noticed Bai Xiong’s expression…

“Ah? Delaying ti is obviously my job!” Chen Xiao thought with a dead fish eye, then… began to laugh!

Yes, just like that, suddenly and without any trigger, he began cackling in a voice that was worse than nails on a chalkboard!

“Hahahaha!!” The sound reverberated down the hallway, even more chilling than the child’s earlier “Hehe.”

Anger filled Mr. Zou’s voice through the earpiece, “What are you doing now??”

The laughter abruptly stopped, and Chen Xiao said seriously, “I need to take a dump!”

“What?” Mr. Zou’s voice was filled with frustration!

“I need to take a dump! It’s urgent, it’s already pushing against my anal sphincter! It’s sour and swollen! I can’t hold it much longer! Oh, oh, oh, oh…. God!” Chen Xiao rattled off, and his last few “ohs” sounded alarmingly as if sothing was about to co out!

For a mont, Mr. Zou was perplexed, hastily responding after hearing those “ohs”, “You, you, you… go quickly!”

Think that’s the end of it? You underestimate him!

“No! Toilet! Paper!” Chen Xiao threw out three words fiercely, shattering the last bit of reason in Mr. Zou! For a mont, he was completely at a loss. He belonged to a mysterious and powerful organization, had seen countless grueso and evil scenes, and could blow a man’s brains out without blinking. But he had never had to deal with soone defecating before! And how to handle it without toilet paper? One simply can’t poop without it!!
