Chapter 33: Chapter 33 On-Site Score Statistics
“What’s the problem, huh? It’s just tallying up so scores. I haven’t even asked you to grade papers right under my eyes. Can’t you even handle tallying scores? Is this how you guys operate?”
Director Han said, “Go get the papers.”
Lou Qiaoyin went back to the office to fetch the exam papers and heard Tian Wangcheng casually chatting and laughing with other teachers while drinking tea.
“Teacher Tian, the scores from your class this ti are pretty good, eh? I saw there are over a dozen who scored above 650?”
“If they can score this much in the monthly exam, their college entrance exam scores are bound to be even higher!”
Tian Wangcheng smiled and said, “Of course, this is Class One! I’m telling you, to manage such a class, you need to do two things — one is to teach well, and the other is to identify problems in the class in ti and kick out those who negatively affect others before they influence the rest of the students!”
As he said this, Lou Qiaoyin was entering, and everyone knew he was referring to Xiao ng’s issue.
Although everyone was not aware of the Jian Family’s involvent in Mada Chen’s conflict with Xiao ng, they knew that Xiao ng had had a dispute with Chen Zehao before, causing Chen Zehao to be transferred out of Tian Wangcheng’s class to Class B. Tian Wangcheng had always kept this in mind.
“What about you, Teacher Lou?” Tian Wangcheng asked.
Lou Qiaoyin was irritated with Tian Wangcheng, knowing that he had played a role in fanning the flas in Mada Chen’s affair.
She didn’t argue, and picked up the exam papers to leave.
Tian Wangcheng continued with a smile, “Chen Zehao’s family even donated a building to the school last ti, and his scores aren’t bad either. So issues have been resolved now, and, actually, I agree with him returning to Class One.”
Lou Qiaoyin left without looking back.
Tian Wangcheng held his teacup and said, “I’ll go help Teacher Lou.”
Lou Qiaoyin took all the papers, knowing that Mada Chen wanted to see Xiao ng’s total score.
She quickly pulled out Xiao ng’s results and said, “Since Mada Chen is here, shouldn’t the person in question, Xiao ng, also be here to witness her own scores?”
“Sure, let her co over,” Mada Chen was actually quite eager to see Xiao ng embarrass herself publicly.
Chen Zehao chuckled on the side, also waiting to see the spectacle. He had rely pursued Xiao ng, writing her so love letters and inviting her out to eat a few tis. But Xiao ng had actually felt like she was being harassed, blowing the situation out of proportion.
It was during an argunt that he had, in desperate frustration, pushed Xiao ng slightly. But what’s the big deal about a boy pushing a girl? And yet, Xiao ng had fainted and went to the school doctor, escalating the incident, leading to him being disciplined and transferred from Class One to Class B.
Today, he shared his mother’s ntality and was curious to see what tricks Xiao ng could still pull.
Soon, Xiao ng arrived.
Seeing Jiang Zhe following Xiao ng, Mada Chen felt sowhat apprehensive.
Chen Zehao’s eyes fixed on Jiang Zhe for a mont, stunned… he had heard rumors of Jiang Zhe’s extraordinary beauty but had never paid much attention before. Seeing her now, the rumors were indeed true.
“Everyone is here, Teacher Lou, please tally the scores,” Director Han said.
Lou Qiaoyin imdiately produced all of Xiao ng’s exam papers, placed them aside, took out a calculator, and began to total the scores.
Xiao ng clenched her fists, inching closer to Jiang Zhe, as if doing so would bring her so comfort.
“Chinese 128 points, Mathematics 122 points, English 123 points, Science Comprehensive 238 points, the total is…”
Mada Chen and Chen Zehao initially didn’t think much of it, but the more they listened, the more sothing seed off.
Until Lou Qiaoyin announced the final number: “The total score is 611 points!”
Her face lit up with a smile of relieved burden.
Xiao ng also breathed a sigh of relief, tugging at Jiang Zhe’s sleeve: “Xiaozhe, I did it.”
“Very well,” Jiang Zhe said softly.
Lady Chen’s face imdiately turned ugly, “How is that possible? I want to see her test paper! I think you’re deliberately conspiring with Xiao ng to deceive !”
She snatched Xiao ng’s test paper and looked it over; the handwriting was graceful, every question was answered in detail, written in a clear and well-organized manner.
However, Lady Chen didn’t believe it at all.
Who doesn’t know that Xiao ng’s grades are unstable, even Tian Wangcheng looks down on her!
Director Han said sternly, “Lady Chen, Xiao ng took the monthly exam in accordance with the rules. Our exams have always been very strict. Cheating is impossible, let alone any form of deception! Please be careful with your words!”
“For two monthly exams in the second year of high school, her scores were both under five hundred, and at the end of last sester, Xiao ng only scored four hundred twenty points. Now, her grades have suddenly improved by a full two hundred points—I don’t believe there wasn’t any cheating or favoritism!”
“Lady Chen, please believe in the potential of every student. Moreover, Xiao ng was previously admitted to the top high school with high scores!” Luo Qiaoyin laid out the facts.
“High scores? Potential? Then how do you explain her previous scores under five hundred?” Lady Chen clearly did not believe.
Director Han patiently asked, “What would you like to do then?”
“Unless she takes a test in front of
and still scores six hundred, I will consider her grades genuine.”
Lady Chen was certain that Xiao ng’s real grades couldn’t be that good.
It’s hard to ensure that Luo Qiaoyin hadn’t done sothing behind the scenes.
As soon as she finished speaking, she felt a sharp gaze upon her.
Without thinking, she knew it was Jiang Zhe.
The arm that Jiang Zhe had caught last ti still ached, yet all the doctors in the hospital had examined her and said there was nothing wrong with her arm.
Lady Chen both hated and feared Jiang Zhe, when she heard him speak very indifferently, “If we always have to follow your wishes, Lady Chen, then if you have complaints again after Xiao ng completes the exam, does that an we should continue to indulge your false accusations?”
“I just want fairness!” Lady Chen didn’t dare say more but still insisted firmly.
“Xiao ng, taking the test again—do you have a problem with that?” Jiang Zhe asked Xiao ng.
Xiao ng thought for a while. She had been having fewer nightmares lately, her spirit was good, and her grades were improving quickly, so she nodded.
“Lady Chen, Xiao ng has agreed,” Jiang Zhe said calmly.
Lady Chen was overjoyed, “I heard it! Let’s start then!”
“Wait.”
Jiang Zhe calmly interrupted her.
Everyone looked towards Jiang Zhe.
Jiang Zhe tilted his head, his eyebrows and eyes coquettishly soft yet seemingly harmless, “If you keep troubling Xiao ng like this, even if Xiao ng scores another six hundred, it’s no loss to you. But how do we account for the precious ti she will waste during her critical third year of high school studies?”
These were precisely the words Luo Qiaoyin wanted to say, but with her weaker presence, they might not have been strong enough to suppress Lady Chen.
Lady Chen scoffed, “Whether she can score six hundred is still in question.”
“Then if she does score six hundred, how about Chen Zehao drops out of school?” Jiang Zhe said calmly and lightly.
Chen Zehao suddenly snapped out of his fascination with Jiang Zhe’s beauty, feeling revulsion.
