When Chen Momo woke up and learned her baby was alright, she sighed in relief.

Bo’s grandfather then asked, “Momo, what on earth happened? How did you end up on the ground and almost miscarry?”
A hint of guilt flashed in Chen Momo’s eyes for fear of the old man and Bo Jingyan discovering that she had planned to make Xia Qingtian miscarriage but had got herself in trouble instead.

Seeing that Bo Jingyan and his grandfather remained silent, Chen Momo knew that they had not bought her story.

“Grandpa, please speak to Qingtian for . After I give birth to this child, I will leave A City. I won’t be in her way, and I won’t vie for Bo Jingyan’s affection. I just hope she won’t continue to target my child.”
“If she feels I have betrayed her and harbors resentnt against , she can direct it at

To make her story more believable, she purposely said, “Grandpa, I want to call the police and let them handle this matter.”
Hearing this, the old Mr. Bo’s expression changed a bit.
Even though he trusted Xia Qingtian and didn’t think she would do what Chen Momo claid – intentionally pushing a pregnant woman down the stairs, he subconsciously tried to stop her, “What’s the rush in calling the police before we make sense of the situation?”

The old Mr. Bo sighed in relief when he saw her willingness to cooperate.
