Chapter 935: Chapter 935: I Really Didn’t Expect Shaoyu to Be So Jealous

As the groom, he couldn’t really say no to the teasing; after all, a wedding is ant to be a joyous occasion, saying otherwise would be inappropriate.

Ye Xinluo sat to the side, watching as Gong Shaoyu’s expression changed slightly, and she couldn’t help but hide a chuckle.

Then she spoke up to smooth things over, "Have Uncle and Aunt arrived yet?"

"Yes, they arrived one or two hours before you. They’ve been on the plane for so long, they must be tired. I had the servants prepare a room for them to rest in a bit!"

"Okay." Ye Xinluo nodded and, along with Beichen Rui, followed Gong Shaoyu to the room.

Lan Shan held Jingxi’s little hand and walked into the kitchen, where a variety of cakes were displayed on the counter.

Jingxi was montarily stunned upon seeing them, then realized they were prepared by his godmother for him.

"Want to eat so?" Lan Shan asked with a smile.

The little fellow honestly shook his head. He wasn’t that fond of cakes anymore, only eating them occasionally at most.

Lan Shan wasn’t too surprised by this response because Xinluo had previously told her that after the little guy returned from camp, he no longer liked his once-favorite cakes.

She hadn’t quite believed it at the ti, so she asked for them to be prepared with a tentative attitude, not expecting this...

She held the little guy’s arm, squatted down in front of him to et his gaze, and smiled, "Sweetheart, can you tell godmother why you don’t like cake anymore?"

"Because eating too much cake can cause cavities and gain weight."

She had heard these words from Xinluo long ago, back when the little guy had just returned to Z City and wouldn’t listen no matter what.

He used to love eating cake so much, so how did one trip to the camp change him like this?

It seems that Jingxi has indeed changed quite a bit over these few months.

Gong Shaoyu took Ye Xinluo and the others to their room and received a call from Qiao Rui as he was leaving, so he went to the balcony to answer it.

By the ti he returned to the living room, Jingxi had already fallen asleep on the sofa, and Lan Shan was about to cover him with a blanket.

Taking a few steps forward, he stopped her, "Don’t cover him; I’ll carry him to the bedroom to sleep."

As he said this, he reached out under the little guy’s armpits and picked him up.

"This little bean, he’s grown quite a bit lately and is getting heavy."

Since returning from the camp, Jingxi had grown a lot taller and naturally gained so weight.

"Alright, don’t just stand there, hurry and carry him upstairs, it’s a bit chilly, you don’t want him catching a cold," Lan Shan said, signaling him to quickly take the little guy to the room.

Ye Xinluo had adjusted to the ti difference, got out of bed, freshened up quickly, found her luggage, took out a big bag, and then left the room.

The servants here mostly knew her, and it didn’t take long to find Lan Shan’s room.

When she arrived, she realized it was next to her forr bedroom. She knocked on the door, and soon, she heard the sound of slippers on the floor.

Lan Shan opened the door and, seeing her, imdiately pulled her inside with a beaming smile, closing the door behind her.

They sat down on the sofa.

Ye Xinluo glanced around and curiously asked, "Where’s Shaoyu? Why isn’t he with you?"

"He went to find Qiao Rui. They seem to have sothing to discuss, and before he left, he said that I ditched him once you arrived. His tone was so sour."

"Ha? Is he even jealous of this?"

Who would have thought, Shaoyu was actually a jealous type. The funny thing is, she’s a girl, okay!
