Qin Yin rarely spoke so much at once, but Mo Han was distracted and didn’t really listen.
The only thing he rembered was that Qin Yin had found a place and could move out soon.
"Since it’s a property from another partner, keep an eye on it before making a decision. There’s no rush to move out; we can discuss it later. It’s late, get so rest, goodnight!"
After Mo Han finished speaking, he went straight back to the bedroom.
Standing by the window, holding the phone in his hand, he considered for a while before making a call.
The next afternoon
Qin Yin was busy with work. A few days ago, she took on a partnership project and needed to quickly co up with a plan.
The phone on the desk rang, she stopped what she was doing and picked it up to take a look.
"Hello."
"Is this Ms. Qin Yin?"
Qin Yin was slightly taken aback, then replied, "Yes, may I ask who’s calling?"
"Here’s the situation, I’m from Haotian Real Estate. You left your information with our company so ti ago."
"What’s it about?"
Didn’t they just schedule a viewing for the weekend yesterday? Why are they calling now? Did sothing happen?
"Ms. Qin, we’re really sorry, we had initially earmarked an apartnt for you, but we just received a notice that it has been leased to a company for employee housing."
Hearing this, Qin Yin understood. Which company would find an apartnt for their employees? And why is it exactly the place she was about to see?
"Ms. Qin, the scheduled viewing you had for the weekend might not be possible. If you’re not in a rush to move, could you wait a while? We’ll contact you imdiately when another property is available."
"Thank you."
They’ve already said this much; what else could she say? The problem is, she told Mo Han last night she’d move out soon. How is she supposed to explain this to him?
This is just too coincidental! Just yesterday, they decided to view the apartnt, and today they say she can’t go. This is too much!
After hanging up the phone, feeling a bit frustrated, she ruffled her hair and took a sip from her water cup, then pushed the matter aside to focus on her work again.
At night
After taking a shower, wearing pajamas, Qin Yin stood at the door of her room for a long ti, before finally making up her mind to open the door and walk out.
Mo Han was sitting on the sofa watching TV. When he saw her co out, he said, "Still up so late?"
"Yeah." She lightly responded, walked over to the sofa, sat down, entwined her fingers, bit her lower lip, looking very conflicted.
"What’s wrong?"
Casually changing the channel, he noticed from the corner of his eye her troubled expression and put the remote aside, "What happened?"
"Um, I might... I might need a bit more ti before I move."
Even she felt a bit embarrassed. Although she paid rent every month, she still felt uneasy.
Firstly, she felt like she was troubling him. Secondly, she was worried Mo Han’s parents might suddenly show up like last ti.
"Is it just about that?"
Mo Han chuckled softly, handed her an orange, and peeled another one for himself.
"I thought sothing big had happened. Didn’t you have a viewing scheduled? Did sothing go wrong?"
He tossed an orange segnt into his mouth, then asked.
"The real estate company said the apartnts in that building were leased by a company for employee housing."
"I wonder which company chose that place for their employee housing."
