"How can this be a husky? It’s clearly a wolfdog!"
Finding it sowhat amusing, being able to mistake a wolfdog for a husky is quite sothing, even though they do look a bit alike.
Beichen Rui gave her a ’you know better’ look. Ye Xinluo imdiately stifled her laughter, gathered her courage, and crouched down beside Fan Tuan.
Seeing it lying still there, she couldn’t help but reach out to tug its ear.
Beichen Rui: "Don’t pull its ear..."
Housekeeper Lin: "Miss Ye, be careful..."
Before they could finish talking, Ye Xinluo swiftly tugged Fan Tuan’s ear. Startled by their voices, she thought sothing had happened and quickly withdrew her hand, looking at Beichen Rui in confusion, "What is it, can’t I touch its ear?"
Beichen Rui reached out to pull her up, patiently explaining, "Fan Tuan is ferocious; be careful it might bite you."
"Really?" She glanced at the obedient Fan Tuan, "I think it’s fine, so well behaved."
Housekeeper Lin was speechless. Miss Ye indeed is the Young Master’s mother; they both like tugging Fan Tuan’s ear. He sotis wondered if the Young Master actually had two dogs.
Because Fan Tuan behaved completely differently in front of Jingxi compared to the servants.
"Stay away from it in the future. And also, don’t pull its ear, otherwise, don’t bla
if it bites you."
Ye Xinluo: "..."
Why does everyone say Fan Tuan is scary, when it’s clearly very well-behaved...?
Beichen Rui took her hand and started walking into the house. As they passed by Fan Tuan, the wolfdog suddenly stretched out its paw and pawed at Ye Xinluo’s skirt.
Ye Xinluo exclaid in surprise and quickly covered her skirt with her hands. She was wearing a long dress today; even with an outer coat, the pawing still revealed her thigh.
She glanced disapprovingly at Fan Tuan. How could this dog act like a rascal? Was it corrupted by its owner?
Beichen Rui’s eyes turned cold as he shielded Ye Xinluo behind him, glaring icily at Fan Tuan.
Fan Tuan ignored his glare, nonchalantly turning its head away.
Beichen Rui: "..."
"Housekeeper Lin, tell the kitchen to add a dish tonight, dog at soup," Beichen Rui’s voice echoed, and both Housekeeper Lin and Ye Xinluo looked at him.
Could the dog at soup he ntioned really be...
They turned to look at Fan Tuan, utterly at a loss. Isn’t this too violent...?
Housekeeper Lin silently mourned for Fan Tuan for three seconds and then said, "Young Master, I fear that’s improper. The Master has been into Buddhism recently and probably wouldn’t eat dog at, and since it’s nearing the year’s end, it’s not fitting to see blood at ho."
"Then sell it to the dog at shop."
Upon hearing this, the seemingly lifeless Fan Tuan finally reacted, raising its head to glare at Beichen Rui, as if accusing him of animal abuse.
Housekeeper Lin stood still; Fan Tuan had been the Young Master’s pet for many years, and now to send it to the dog at shop...
However, under Beichen Rui’s oppressive gaze, he moved hesitantly toward Fan Tuan, intending to drag it away.
Before he could get close, Fan Tuan stood up suddenly and fiercely glared at Housekeeper Lin.

Frightened, Housekeeper Lin halted, not daring to approach any further, turning to look at Beichen Rui.
