Yu Ze pulled Muniang over in one swift motion, pulling her into his embrace, “You’re coddling a child.”

Yet he still managed to keep a serious face, pulling her back, perplexing Muniang, but then he bent down to straighten her clothes, “In your rush, you forget everything else. How could I let others see my wife like this?”
Muniang laughed out loud, “Yes, yes, I should only let my husband see .”
Yu Ze felt much better and gave Muniang’s butt a pat before saying, “Go on, then.”
Muniang ran off cheerfully.
Early the next morning, Muniang had just finished washing up when Qingya ca in and said, “Lady, in a few days it will be the Governor’s birthday. The Governor has specifically sent an invitation, requesting your presence.”
Muniang raised an eyebrow, taking the invitation, “Lord Lu is really considerate. Since he ca to invite us personally, naturally there is no reason to decline. You go back and relay my ssage.”
“Yes.”
Muniang took the invitation and rushed to Yu Ze, “Husband, Lord Lu’s birthday is coming up; let’s go join the celebration together.”

He then covered Muniang’s delicate lips with his own and pressed on them for quite a while. But as he kissed her, he felt the urge and simply carried Muniang to the bed for so morning exercise.
Afterwards, Muniang, supporting her waist, almost cried without tears. She had asked him to attend a birthday celebration, but the price she paid was too high!
Yu Ze helped Muniang put on her clothes and got off the bed to tidy up his own clothes. Only then did he suddenly say, “How about I accompany you to i Garden today?”

Muniang said aggrievedly, “I was just afraid you’d act rashly and ss things up. After all, the Rong family is quite special. Their daughter is now a favored consort in the palace. If we offend them and that lady holds a grudge, she might speak ill of you to the Emperor. Then the Emperor will have to deal with you again.”
