??Chapter 292: Chapter 160: Utterly Bewitching, Isn’t It?

Chapter 292: Chapter 160: Utterly Bewitching, Isn’t It?

Three months later.

Yun Yuwan woke up in the morning and rolled into his embrace. Stirred awake by her, he cracked open an eye and casually draped an arm around her, gently pushing away the hair covering her face, “Morning.”

“What ti do you need to get up?” she asked, tilting her head to look at him.

His voice, raspy from just waking up, sounded like there was a bass in his throat, “Hand

my phone.”

She fetched his phone from the nightstand and gave it to him. He glanced at it and casually tossed it aside:

“Past six, it’s still early.”

He drew her closer, enveloping her in his arms, soft and petite, so much so that he wished he could tie her to his body.

The scent of the man seeped into her nostrils, finding its way through every pore.

Her voice was very quiet, “Shall we get up then?”

He caressed her soft behind, his palm pressing down so that her flesh spilled out between his fingers, gripping her tightly, yet his voice was gentle, “Get up and do what?”

“Go brush our teeth.” She opened one eye and closed the other, the opened eye also only revealing a sliver.

“And then?” he asked, his voice deep and warm.

In a daze, she mumbled, “We could kiss.”

She felt herself being scooped up imdiately.

Wen Yangzhi squeezed toothpaste onto her toothbrush and placed it in her hand.

Yun Yuwan brushed her teeth chanically while Wen Yangzhi, having finished his own, wiped her face for her like one would care for a child.

As he wiped her face he asked, “Any ideas where you’d like to kiss?”

“I don’t know.” She closed her eyes.

His hand swept over the towel and casually pinned her chin, “Don’t know?”

“I was thinking on the balcony.” She finally spoke the truth.

His tone was leisurely, “For everyone to see then?”

She said nothing.

Wen Yangzhi leisurely pulled back his hand, cleaned the cloth, and hung it in the dryer, “Now you’re being stubborn, wanting it but not admitting it.”

She still said nothing and when Wen Yangzhi pulled at her underwear she reacted promptly, quickly pressing down on her panties.

His tone was lazy, “Your skirt is tucked into your panties, do you also want to show that off on the balcony?”

Only when she reached down and felt that it was indeed the case did she withdraw her hand.

Wen Yangzhi straightened out the fabric for her and wrapped his arms around her waist, “Shall I carry you there or will you walk yourself?”

She leaned against him as if she had no bones.

Wen Yangzhi carried her to the balcony. He set her down and, before he could straighten up to talk to her, she kissed him.

It was only six o’clock. Although the day had broken, the sun was still climbing, and nobody was up yet, not Zhao Qin and the others, nor even the servants.

But she rely pressed her lips against his and then, overwheld with sleepiness, closed her eyes.

After a very short snooze, she was awakened by his stirring kisses, completely following his lead, not needing to exert any effort to stand as his embrace alone was enough to steady her.

She muttered, “Let’s not.”

He suddenly brought up an old issue, “Do you rember, two years ago, when you wanted to be with ?”

Leaning against his chest, with her field of vision obscured below his chest, she could not see his face, “What about

back then?”

“Always looking for chances to hug and kiss .”

His voice carried a hint of ignored lancholy, “And now you won’t let

kiss or hug you?”

“Stop talking, you’re ruining the mood.” She really did not want to let the beautiful scene of the sunrise be spoilt by his words.

“Heartless.” His tone was leisurely, as if he were a victim.

He turned her around to face the garden below the balcony, stood behind her, and lazily pointed out, “Look at that Maple tree.”

Yun Yuwan saw it, all planted by Wen Yangzhi.

His breath grazed her neck, almost imperceptible, “Isn’t it true that the first ti you saw

there, you couldn’t contain yourself?”

Yun Yuwan was furiously embarrassed: “You’re talking nonsense.”

He laughed: “Am I talking nonsense? I rember that look in your eyes at that ti.”

“What look in my eyes?” she asked, feeling guilty.

He saw through her but didn’t call her out: “You don’t know, yet you’re asking ?”

She complained: “You didn’t ntion it before, now you bring it up just to make

uncomfortable?”

He was calm and composed: “Didn’t you want

to be honest with you? Many tis, the way you look at

shows how much you’re into .”

“You’re talking nonsense,” she said, her face unchanging as she stubbornly denied it.

He grasped her waist: “You know very well whether I’m talking nonsense or not.”

She was young, with passionate eyes; her thoughts were obvious with just one glance.

She spoke fluently and with ease: “It’s quite embarrassing for you, isn’t it? You must have been desperate when I ca back.”

He smiled: “I was very anxious. I thought you only wanted to be friends with benefits with .”

“Were you scared to death when you found out about the child?” she asked, expressionless.

His tone was leisurely: “I didn’t go to work the next day and talked to the head of the family office about it, saying you might not forgive

and that I should proceed with caution.”

She laughed mockingly: “That director made so good points.”

He magnanimously ignored her sarcasm: “Want to see what we talked about?”

“See what?” she asked, crossing her arms.

He let her go, turned around to look for his phone, but couldn’t find it.

She mocked him from behind: “So you can’t always find things you’re looking for.”

“What, were you dazzled?” he said, retrieving his phone from a gap beside the bed.

She scoffed: “Save it, I’m not a little girl anymore.”

He unlocked his phone, sent her a file: “Take a look, and if there’s anything wrong, you can add to it.”

Yun Yuwan reached for the phone, accepting the docunt he sent, which was filled with shares and assets for Qingqing, as well as matters of inheritance: “Why is there also a will?”

His tone was relaxed: “I usually update it once a year, but I updated it earlier this year.”

Yun Yuwan looked at his will, which even ntioned her; in the inheritance section, she was ntioned, which essentially treated her as his wife.

“Giving Qingqing these, do you want her to inherit the bank when she grows up?”

He leaned against the bookcase: “If she still loves money when she grows up, then of course.”

Yun Yuwan stayed on the will page, looking at the sentences about herself.

Seeing her motionless, staring at the screen, Shu Fang spoke up: “Touched again?”

She knew it, and gave him a slight glare.

Wen Yangzhi didn’t stop teasing her with a cold expression: “Are you thinking about how you’ll have to be with

from now on?”

“…” Yun Yuwan was speechless, “Do you have narcissistic disorder?”

He casually threw his phone onto the bed: “Maybe, I need soone who understands this illness to help

recover.”

He ca over to embrace her: “Would you be willing to marry ?”

She kept quiet.

He answered for her: “You want to marry

but want to observe for a little while longer, right?”

She smiled speechlessly: “Let go of , it’s seven o’clock, I’m going downstairs to see if there’s breakfast.”

“Changing the subject, I know that trick well.” He held her without letting go, his tone casual, “Say an answer that will put

out of my misery.”

She closed her eyes and laughed: “Are you really crazy?”

He raised an eyebrow: “I must be crazy; how else could I keep getting hooked by you?”

“Let go, I’m going to eat breakfast, stop fishing around here,” she said, mustering courage.

He shalessly maintained his composure as if discussing a personal project: “I’ll have soone bring it up, and I’ll feed you.”
