Chapter 1755: act like children? be prepared to be treated like one
Later on Yu Dong realised that Chen Mi was not unreasonably angry. He was indeed driven crazy by the two rs. The two of them were supposed to be helping Chen Mi in cooking instead of Sun Jie and Fang Chi.
The result? Those two didn't talk or share what they were going to do. Which resulted in twice the amount of onions chopped, even the salt was added twice to the chicken. Chen Mi had to use a boiled potato to get rid of the excess salt.
By the ti lunch was cooked, Chen Mi was tired to the point that he wished he could bar these two rs from his kitchen. He was on the verge of collapsing, if not for the sake of his son who was waiting for lunch, he would have closed the kitchen and refused to cook anything today!
Yu Dong was stupefied when she found out that Ye Liu and Shen Li had tornted Chen Mi like this, she turned to look at the two rs who for so reason looked ashad and embarrassed now that the matter was brought out in the open.
She raised her hand and said to the two rs, "Chen Mi is right, you two have caused enough trouble. Now it's ti to put an end to it, stop fighting with one another for no reason."
Seriously, what were they thinking? Did they think that it was funny to cause trouble like this? Not to ntion if they continued fighting like this, they would only cause their relationship to sour.
"Mother, this place is so good! I want to stay here," a familiar and childish voice resounded outside.
Yu D0ng who was speaking to Ye Liu and Shen Li turned to look at the door before turning to look at her two husbands. She said to them, "You better solve this ss as soon as possible. I don't want to see any more trouble, sit down and talk or else I will lock you two up in a room like children."
"If you are going to behave like children, I am going to treat you like children."
Yu Dong was a good woman and wife, she never got angry. However, whenever she got angry, she ant business. Thus, the second she said that she was going to lock them in a room, they knew that she ant every word. She wouldn't leave this matter alone if they did not clear up the air.
Ye Liu and Shen Li looked at one another helplessly before they sat down on the chairs. Seeing that the two of them were willing to talk, Yu Dong nodded and turned around on her feet before heading to the door.
When she saw Madam Kong arriving with a bunch of things, she blinked her eyes before smiling at the woman. She enthusiastically greeted her before saying to Madam Kong, "What are you doing here?"
Madam Kong smiled awkwardly and said to Yu Dong, "Isn't it because we ca here to apologise to you? We haven't even apologised properly for the trouble that we have caused you and your family."
As she finished speaking, she looked around the Yu house and sighed with emotions, "I have to say that your house is really beautiful. Who would have thought that you have so many plants and vegetables planted inside?"
"It's all Chi's hard work, he knows how to keep this plant green and fresh," Yu Dong replied to Madam Kong.
What she did not tell Madam Kong was that these plants and vegetables were even more flourishing and beautiful a few months ago. But then so of the naughty kids of the village started pulling the vegetables and flowers for their own family use.
In the end, they were chased away by Xiao Hua who scolded them so fiercely that she was certain that even the ancestors of those kids must have rolled in their graves.
Only then did they stop to cause trouble for their family.
If not these flowers and vegetables would have been long eaten and digested by those naughty kids.
Yu Dong brought Madam Kong inside the house, she could see that Master Xiao didn't co with her even though Kong Pili and Kong Li along with Guo Zian had co to see them, this ant that the matter with Master Xiao had finally co to a rest. It was a good thing as Yu Dong truly had no desire to even look at that r anymore.
Kong Li looked around the garden while Kong Pili seed to be looking for a certain soone.
When she did not see the r she was searching for, her expression turned gloomy. Seeing her expression Yu Dong was amused, she said to Kong Pili, " Cui Cui and his brothers had gone to bring so alfalfa leaves. They will be back soon."
As soon as she finished speaking, Kong Pili's face flushed red, she acted as if she had no idea what and why Yu Dong was saying this but at the sa ti she looked really excited.
Kong Li on the other hand had no such qualms, she looked around the house and exclaid in awe, "Mai, your house is really big and beautiful. Can you let your sister make
her sister? There are so many big roses!"
The roses were bigger than normal as Yu Dong and her family raised them with spiritual water because of this reason, the entire row of rose bushes were filled with blooming red roses.
That was as big as an adult's fist.
It was sothing that Kong Li had never seen before.
Yu Mai was also really proud, he said to Kong Li, "This is the hard work of my fourth brother-in-law. Isn't he amazing? He also grew a really big lotus pond in the backyard. Do you want to see?"
Yu Dong smiled at Yu Mai's boasting and she turned to look at Madam Kong and said to her, "Don't take his words to heart. He just likes to boast a lot about his brothers-in-law."
