Yu Dong turned and looked at Aunt Wang who had just returned after delivering the goods at the mall.
"What's wrong, Aunt Wang?" Usually, Aunt Wang was too busy to co and see her and Yu Dong didn't bla her. After all, not only Aunt Wang was in charge of keeping an eye on the goods and their delivery.
On top of that, she also helped her niece who was managing the bakery in the town. Clearly, Aunt Wang was so busy that sotis she hoped that she had four legs and eight arms.
So, Yu Dong was slightly surprised when she saw Aunt Wang.
"Dong Dong! Ah, what should I say to you? Such a big thing happened. Why didn't you tell , your aunt?" Aunt Wang sighed deeply as she prodded Yu Dong on her forehead. "You should have called , that Ding family is not a good thing. You don't know they have been trying to curry favour with
all these days when you were gone. Really, other than Ding Nan and her rs, there is not a single good person in that family."
After she finished reprimanding Yu Dong, she shook her head and changed the topic, "Do you know that girl from the Ding family was beaten? Her grandparents called the exorciser who perford an exorcism on her."
"I heard from others that it was really terrifying, by the ti everything was done that girl was covered in blood and looked really terrifying."
She paused and then added, "But more importantly, it seems like the thing that latched onto her is really vicious. That girl actually threatened her elders and told them that if they dared to kill her she would definitely haunt them."
"And now she is staying at the abandoned house of widower Chen at the foot of the mountain. I am telling you that there is sothing wrong with that girl, just look at her. How can a little child say such ruthless words and even run away from her ho?"
Though many children ran away from their hos, after being treated roughly by their parents Ding Nuan Nuan was suddenly being treated like this because of the rumours circulating her.
Yu Dong did not mind it in the least, who asked that girl to cause trouble for her family and her brother? She deserved it.
In fact, she felt really amused when she heard that Ding Nuan Nuan was smashed by blood and beaten by whips. Though her husbands did not say anything outright, Yu Dong knew that Gu Mo and his daughter made things really difficult for them.
Thus, Yu Dong felt a sadistic pleasure when she heard that the child was being treated like this. If the Ding family was treating the child whom they have favoured like this, certainly they would not leave Gu Mo alone either.
That would definitely make her husbands, especially Chen Mi happy.
"Is that so? I have no idea about this," though she was secretly pleased Yu Dong knew that she couldn't show it on her face. In Aunt Wang's eyes, she was a kind woman who cared for the people of the village, especially the children and the rs.
"I know, if you had heard of it you would have gone to help that r and his daughter even though they had treated you like this," sotis Aunt Wang wished Yu Dong was a bit more hard-hearted. It was because she was so kind that everyone thought that it was okay to bully her family and her.
It was simply too much! That Gu Mo, he was married and had a daughter, and yet he was hanging around Yu Dong's house every day. She even heard from her husband that Gu Mo was trying to find out more about Yu Dong and her likings.
His ambitions were clear as the day and only soone as foolish as Ding Xuelan would believe that Gu Mo had no dirty intentions.
Fortunately, that r was caught before he could do anything to Yu Dong or else.
"Anyways, how is Little Mai?" Aunt Wang asked as the two of them walked past the patch where the strawberry seedlings had been dug out from.
Yu Dong sighed exaggeratingly and replied, "He is scared out of his wits. This was the first ti he saw sothing so terrifying, honestly, I thought he was going to fall sick but fortunately, sohow my husbands managed to calm him down."
"I can't tell you how badly he was crying when we ca back ho. He didn't even let
go and kept hugging
while saying that he was afraid. I could only co to the greenhouse after he fell asleep. If not… I am afraid that he would have fainted because he was crying so much."
When Aunt Wang heard that Yu Mai was scared so badly by that girl, her impression of Ding Nuan Nuan turned even worse.
That girl really was evil. Look at that she scared Yu Mai to the point that he beca hysterical. Aunt Wang had seen Yu Mai's suffering which was why she couldn't help but feel really annoyed and upset with that girl.
That r had already gone through so much, he finally had a little peace and yet he was still not allowed to live quietly.
Aunt Wang despised that family and decided to ask her children and husband to stay away from the Ding family.
While Yu Dong and Aunt Wang were discussing the Ding family matters, a woman in her late twenties was chasing after Ye Liu.
"Liu Liu, why don't you listen to what I have to say?" The woman suppressed the annoyance in her heart and looked at Ye Liu who was walking in front of her.
"What do I need to hear!?" Ye Liu was angry and upset as he turned and glared at Zhou Jiaojiao. "How many tis have I told you that I am married? Why are you still badgering ? Who told you that I am married in this village anyway?"
Ye Liu asked furiously but he had a feeling that this matter was related to Gu Mo!
