"I want to go back!"

"Mother, it's really scary here…"

"Wahh! Want my daddy!"

The children who were sitting quietly till now, suddenly exploded as soon as the door of the shack where they were tied and thrown was closed.

They were really terrified of that woman but had no idea what to do, they couldn't even run away from her as the woman and her goons were keeping an eye on them.

Yu Mai looked at the children who were crying and blinked his eyes before saying, "Don't cry, I will take you out very soon."

Upon hearing his words, the children who were crying turned to look at him. One of the older girls sniffed and asked, "How will you take us out? The won outside are all really bad, they beat us up when we tried to run earlier."

"There is no need to worry," Yu Mai said with a smile on his face. "I will think of a way."

The children were surprised by his words, they all furrowed their brows and turned to look at one another before looking away. They did not believe in his words, after all, they had heard those words more than once.

Every ti a new child was brought, he or she would say the sa thing but then they would quieten down, this r would quiet down as well in a few days, once he realised that there was no way out of this place.

Yu Mai did not know what the children were thinking about. At that mont, he was calmly humming a tune and looking at the moon in the sky— his sister must be worried, he needed to go back as soon as possible.

Another three hours passed by just like that, and finally Kong Pili who was unconscious along with Kong Li started waking up.

The two sisters humd and groaned as they twisted on the ground before sitting up straight slowly. Their eyes were half closed and they were rubbing the back of their necks where they were hit by the human traffickers.

"What's going on—" Kong Li began but then she paused and looked around the shack. Her eyes which were half closed, imdiately widened as she looked at Yu Mai and then the children locked up in the shack.

After seeing such a thing, what else did she not understand?

They have been kidnapped.

"It's my fault," Kong Li cried pitifully, her eyes turned red as she gazed at the ropes that tied her hands and legs. She should not have lost her temper like that—despite knowing how dangerous it was, she had run out of the house.

Even though her mother asked her to not go out alone, now this was good. She caused her sister and Yu Mai to get kidnapped because of her.

Kong Pili looked at the dark shack with only one door and window and her expression turned grave, this situation was not good.

She and her sister were still alright, as they were girls but Yu Mai was a r! He would be sold off to bad places, they could not carry a guilt as big as that.

Kong Pili's expression turned bitter. Sure enough, her daddy was a jinx to them. Every ti they got entangled with him, they would lose out on sothing.

But this ti around the damage was too big!

What were they supposed to do now?

She turned to look at Kong Li who looked back at her in desperation.

The two of them had the sa thought in their heads, if this went on then they would certainly be sold off in places from where they would never return. Especially Yu Mai!

"Oh you are awake," Yu Mai raised his head and looked at the two girls. He stood up from the ground where he was drawing with his fingers and said, "Let's get out of this place."

Get out of this place? Was he still dreaming? Why was he speaking as if getting out of this place was as simple as hopping over a small puddle?

"Mai, these won are not as good as our mother, they will not open the door if you ask them," Kong Pili thought that Yu Mai was misunderstanding sothing and thought that as long as they were to ask, these won would let them go.

Yu Mai turned and looked at the two girls, he blinked his eyes and remarked, "Are you going to ask them to open the door for you?"

Kong Pili: "…" It seems like I was thinking too much, this r is not as naive as I thought he was.

"Then how are you thinking of getting out of here?" Kong Li asked.

"By breaking this shack of course. Sister said that as long as I am in danger, I am allowed to break anything."

No Break what—?

BOOM!

BANG!

BOOM!

The sound of thunder and lightning echoed in the small groove where the human traffickers were hiding.

There was nothing wrong with thunder and lightning but there was sothing very wrong with lightning bolt falling on the ground in sumr— that too when there was no cloud in the sky!

"AHHH!"

"What is happening? What are we supposed to do now?"

"Soone co and save !"

The shack was shattered to bits as one after another lightning fell on the wooden roof of the shack.

The won who were guarding the shack also fell to the ground, their hair fluttering in the air and zapped due to the thunder, their skin was charred and they were bleeding from the many wounds they had received after getting struck by lightning.

The leader of the Human traffickers ca running when she heard the booming sound. As soon as she arrived at the shack, she only saw bits of wood and the won on guard lying on the floor.

Her eyes widened and she looked around the groove, "Where are the children? Where are they!?"

"Pah! Who cares about the children? Look at us first!"
