On the other side, Master Xiao had no idea that his sister was cursing him behind his back. He was currently frowning and looking around at the kitchen, there was nothing. Nothing at all.
Though there were three lively crabs kicking inside the water vat, those were going to be used to make dinner for the custors.

And he dared not to move anything from his bedroom, his wife was a rather stern woman and after she found out that he was supporting his maternal family behind her back, Madam Kong would often make rounds of his bedroom.
If anything went missing, Master Xiao would be the one who would suffer.
'I don't want to get beaten up again,' thought Master Xiao as he looked around the kitchen three more tis.
"What are you doing?" A voice called him from behind and Master Xiao jumped in the air. He turned around and saw Guo Zian, the official husband of Madam Kong.
"Nothing—Nothing at all, Brother Zian," even though Master Xiao was cursing Guo Zian in his heart, he dared not show even the smallest sign of anger on his face as Guo Zian was doted on by Madam Kong the most.
Not to ntion, Guo Zian was the official husband, if he wanted to punish him there was nothing that Master Xiao could say to refute him.
Guo Zian narrowed his eyes and eyed Master Xiao warily. "I hope you are not lying because if you dare to lie to , see how I clean you up this ti. Don't even think of handing anything to your sisters."
It was one thing that Xiao Huangying and her sister leeched on the blood of their family but what was even more infuriating was that those two were shaless and ungrateful.
Just a few days ago, Guo Zian's sister ca to the Kong house and she told him that she overheard Xiao Huangying talking to her friends. That woman was not just cursing Madam Kong for being stinging, she was also calling his wife her 'servant', Pah! As if!
That woman was not even worthy of carrying the shoes of his wife and she actually dares to say such nasty and disgraceful words for his wife?
How dare she!
If not for the fact Guo Zian pitied Master Xiao who was like a fool who had been brainwashed into raising his sisters by his parents, he would have kicked this r out of the house.
However, even if he sympathized with this r, he was not going to let him empty their house for the sake of filling up his family's.
"No…No, I dare not do it," said Master Xiao as he shook his head and then walked out of the kitchen he was worried that if he lingered inside the kitchen any longer, Guo Zian would sense sothing.
Once Master Xiao left the kitchen, Guo Zian carefully looked around and sighed in relief when he did not see anything missing. For a second he was really worried, what if he was a second too late to catch Master Xiao?
What if that r had already given the things in the kitchen to his sisters? It was not as if they could force her into giving it back right?
"Sure enough, daddy was right. It's easier to fend against unknown thieves than a thief living inside a ho," muttered Guo Zian. Because of Master Xiao, he could not have a single day of peace!
While Guo Zian was cursing Master Xiao for being too foolish, Master Xiao was cursing him for being too nosy and disturbing him. He just gave a few things to his sisters and everyone in this family was treating him as if he had committed a cri.
"Why does that r have to treat
like that? Even if I give things to my sisters, I still have a sense of propriety, there is no way I will hand sothing that is used for business to my family and cause the business to be disrupted," muttered Master Xiao as he wrung his hands.
He was getting anxious thinking about how and what he would give to his sister. If he did not give her anything and had her return empty-handed, Xiao Huanying would be so disappointed in him.
As her elder brother, he couldn't do sothing like that.
Just as he was getting worried, Master Xiao ca to a stop in front of his daughter's room. At first Master Xiao hesitated when he thought about how he had given away the pork belly and pig feet that his wife brought for his daughters.
But then he thought about his sister and the guilt toward his daughters vanished. The two of them were so young it was alright for them to eat at a bit less, what if they ended up getting a stomach ache?
Since the at would have gone to waste, he used it to supplent his parents and sisters, they were adults and could eat at as much as they wanted.
Anyway, what he did was not wrong and he was only thinking for his daughters.
What was more, his sisters were the elders of his daughters, they should be filial to their elders.
Just like that Master Xiao washed his guilt by telling himself that he did nothing wrong and had not done anything worth criticizing and that it was his daughters who did not grow up filial and went crooked.
With the guilt gone, he confidently pushed the door of his daughter's room and started rummaging around. Even if his wife treated him strictly, she was really nice to his daughters, certainly she must have given sothing good to them.
