Chapter 622: Chapter 302: Artificial Constructs (Part 2)

Just gazing at its surface, one can feel a subtle yet dangerous energy fluctuation.

"High Tier mory Crystals usually co from areas below the Abyss Sixth Layer, and the mories they contain often involve the direct activities of Apostles or the confidential information of the Abyss core regions."

Uther’s voice beca particularly solemn, and the silver light of the Void Remains’ projection also slightly retracted:

"During the analysis process, you are likely to encounter so...not very pleasant truths.

Prepare yourself ntally, and if you feel any discomfort, I will forcibly sever your link."

Ron took a deep breath, nodded to show his understanding, and then began to establish a Spirit connection with the mory Crystal.

As the link gradually deepened, a shocking scene slowly unfolded in his consciousness:

It was the terrifying sight of the Abyss Seventh Layer.

In the boundless darkness, enormous blood-red altars were arranged according to so complex and evil geotric pattern.

On each altar, a humanoid creature was bound, but they could no longer be called human.

Their bodies were severely distorted by Abyssal Energy, turning into horrific existences between human and Abyssal Creatures.

More horrifyingly, these twisted beings still maintained conscious awareness.

Their eyes revealed complex emotions of despair, pain, anger, and pleading, their lips trembled incessantly, yet they couldn’t utter any sound.

That silent scream was more soul-stirring than any wail.

In the center of the scene, a tall and indistinct figure was presiding over so evil ritual.

Although the specific features could not be seen, judging by the terrifying energy fluctuations surrounding it.

This was undoubtedly a true Apostle, a High Tier Abyss presence whose gaze alone could lead to Spiritual Contamination.

"Is this... a large-scale artificial creation?"

Ron suppressed the nausea and anger rising in his heart, continuing to carefully observe this abhorrent scene.

Through the eyes of the mory’s owner, an unfortunate Abyssal Explorer’s first-person perspective.

He witnessed how the Apostle systematically transford captives into a certain type of special Abyssal Creature.

This was not a simple and brutal slaughter or Devour, but a ticulously designed "sublimation" process.

The purpose was evidently to create a dreadful Hybrid that combined the intelligence and cunning of sentient beings with the Abyssal Power and cruelty.

"You’ve seen things you shouldn’t have seen."

When Ron finished the analysis, Uther’s tone beca unusually heavy:

"This mory Crystal records the internal conditions of a highly classified experintal base in the Abyss.

Those Apostles are attempting to create an entirely new warfare species, perfect soldiers that combine human intelligence and Abyssal Power."

"For what purpose?"

Ron asked, though he already had a foreboding sense in his heart.

"To prepare for a large-scale infiltration and invasion of the real world."

Uther’s projection of the Void Remains dimd slightly, his voice filled with deep concern:

"Once these Hybrids are successfully created, they will be able to perfectly infiltrate human society, initiating deadly betrayals at critical monts.

The most terrifying part is that they completely retain human mories, emotions, and social relationships, making them nearly undetectable by any conventional ans."

This discovery left Ron deeply shaken.

If the Abyss is truly preparing for such large-scale infiltration, then the entire human civilization will face an unprecedented existential threat.

Besides the academic activity of mory Crystal analysis, Ron regularly participated in Eve’s private stargazing gatherings.

These were not large academic salons, but private exchanges involving only the two of them.

Each stargazing gathering was held on the ticulously arranged Observatory atop the Jadeite Pavilion.

Surrounded by complex soundproofing and anti-eavesdropping Arrays, ensuring that the conversation would not be detected by any outsider.

"Tonight’s astrological configuration is particularly special."

Eve stood at the center of the Observatory, holding a finely crafted Astrological Instrunt in her hand, her athyst-like eyes shimring with a profound glow in the starlight:

"The ’Vanishing Star Cluster’ and the ’Gemini Star System’ are forming a rare triangular conjunction, a phenonon that occurs only once every seven years."

Her physical condition had significantly improved compared to a few months ago.

The symptoms of Demon Devouring had been effectively controlled, and her complexion had regained a healthy flush.

But Ron, with his keen observation, could still catch hints of

deep-seated worry in her occasional glances, as if so heavy concern weighed on her heart.

"According to ancient astrological texts, such a celestial phenonon typically heralds major changes on the horizon."

Eve’s voice was gentle and distant, but the weight within it couldn’t be ignored:

"Historically, almost every major shift in political structures has been accompanied by similar astrological ons. The stars do not lie; they rely reflect the subtle shifts in the cosmic balance of power."

Her gaze inadvertently swept over Ron, her eyes reflecting a complex light.

After the stargazing activity concluded, the two engaged in deeper conversation on the Observatory as usual.

The night breeze gently brushed, and the starlight flowed like water, creating an ambiance that was both romantic and mysterious for this crucial dialogue.

"Master, there is sothing I wish to tell you."

Eve’s voice was softer than usual, but Ron could sense the weight and determination within it:
