Chapter 150: Chapter 125: Ring of Brilliance (Part 3)

"Indeed, Master. As I delve deeper into Magic Potion Making and Alchemy, I find my perception of materials becoming sharper. This might be the result of a mutual enhancent between the two disciplines, allowing

to comprehend the inherent traits of materials more comprehensively."

Thompson nodded thoughtfully:

"An interesting developnt. Indeed, there are often deep connections between different disciplines that can produce unexpected synergies. And you, Ron, seem to be naturally endowed with the talent to discover and utilize these connections."

After the test, Ron carefully put away his Energy Core, along with the Alchemy Activation Agent awarded for being first in the weekly test, and left the testing room in good spirits.

Just as he was about to head to the library, a black-gray parrot with a large beak flapped down from the sky:

"Apprentice Ron... Apprentice Ron... Lady Laila requests your imdiate presence in the Elental Affinity Classroom."

Seeing the parrot call out his na, he wasn’t particularly surprised, as it was one of the school’s public ssengers.

However, today was not the day for the Elental Affinity Class, so Ron frowned and asked:

"May I ask what it is about?"

"Lady Laila did not specify the reason, only ntioned it’s... regarding the adjustnt of your elental course schedule."

The parrot answered respectfully, its attitude much more courteous than toward an ordinary apprentice, obviously because Ron had entered the Candidate Wizard sequence.

"I understand, thank you for the notice."

Ron nodded politely in thanks, receiving a look of astonishnt from the parrot.

He then changed direction, heading towards the Elental Affinity Classroom.

Along the way, he pondered the possible reasons for Master Laila’s sudden summons.

Since acquiring the Red Blood Flying Dragon Bloodline, his affinity for Fire Elent and Light Elent had indeed significantly increased, and his performance in recent courses had earned her praise.

But being called suddenly, was there a special task, or was there an issue with his performance?

Unable to be certain, Ron could only quicken his pace to reach the classroom as soon as possible.

Upon reaching the Elental Affinity Classroom, the door was already open, and Laila was standing by the window, sunlight streaming through the stained glass and casting a halo over her long hair.

"Ron, I heard you took Thompson’s weekly test in the teaching area today, so I thought I’d have the ssenger notify you to co by on your way."

She turned and smiled, eyes filled with appreciation:

"I’ve been observing your recent course performance, especially your control over Light Elent and Fire Elent. Your progress is quite evident."

"Thank you for your affirmation, Laila Senior," Ron responded politely.

Laila walked to the center of the classroom, beside the Elental Pool where various colored elental light points floated, resembling a miniature galaxy:

"Did you know, elental affinity isn’t just about mastering a single elent, but more importantly, understanding the connections and transformations between elents."

She waved her hand lightly, and the light and fire elent light points in the Elental Pool began to approach each other, eventually rging into a brighter, gold-red light:

"For example, the combination of light and fire can produce a more powerful effect. This is a type of High Tier Elental Manipulation, usually only covered in advanced courses."

Ron observed intently, already guessing her intention—she might be about to teach him more advanced elental knowledge.

"I had intended to let the master guide you into elental fusion study after you completed all the foundational courses."

Laila looked directly into Ron’s eyes, her expression becoming more solemn:

"But your progress has surpassed our expectations, particularly your dual affinity for Light Elent and Fire Elent, which is an exceptionally rare talent."

She walked to a bookshelf, took out an ancient book, and gently opened it, revealing a page of a complex elental fusion diagram:

"Among all my students, very few can naturally exhibit an affinity for two complentary elents like you. It reminds

of an ancient theory—Elental Bi-state Resonance."

Ron listened attentively, although unfamiliar with this theory, he sensed it was a crucial piece of knowledge.

"Elental Bi-state Resonance refers to a phenonon where soone with high affinity for two complentary elents can establish a unique Energy Circuit between the elents, enhancing elental power rather than canceling each other out."

Laila explained, her fingers lightly touching the diagram on the page:

"In ancient tis, so great Elental Mages created many astonishing spells through in-depth research on Elental Bi-state Resonance."

She took a Crystal Ball from inside her robe, sealed with a Magic Model, containing a complex gold-red energy structure like a solidified flower of fla:

"Usually, even in advanced courses, a significant amount of Magic Stone Fragnt is required to obtain a complete Magic Model, but considering you have shown sufficient value and potential..."

Laila handed the Crystal Ball to Ron:

"This is a spell prototype called ’Ring of Brilliance,’ combining the blinding effect of Light Elent and the burning ability of Fire Elent—an extrely practical defense and attack spell."

Ron received the Crystal Ball with both hands, feeling the energy fluctuations emanating from the internal Magic Model, both warm and bright, like a dazzling miniature sun.

At this mont, his heart was sowhat excited, for a Magic Model is the foundation of Magic Construction, and having a ready model can significantly shorten the ti to master a new spell.

Moreover, this kind of combined magic of two elents is usually only accessible to Advanced Apprentices.

Ron was about to express his gratitude sincerely when Laila gently smiled, cutting him off:

"No need to be overly polite. We Wizards always believe that ’knowledge should flow to where it can be most valued,’ and your talent and hard work make you worthy of this knowledge."

"However, the spell prototype is just a basic frawork. You need to refine and adjust it according to your understanding and abilities."

Her expression turned solemn:

"This process might take weeks or even months, especially for a fusion spell where the balance of each component is crucial."

Ron nodded: "I understand, Master. I will study this Magic Model diligently and will not let down your trust."

"Very well." Laila nodded in satisfaction, then added:

"Additionally, I’ve suggested to the master to elevate your Elental Affinity Class directly to the advancent stage. If you can successfully master the ’Ring of Brilliance,’ it will best support this decision."

Having already experienced a promotion, he felt a slight joy in his heart, thanked her politely, learned about the specific teaching arrangents, and then took his leave.

The advanced stage course arrangents differ from the foundational stage, focusing primarily on two areas:

One is Elental Fusion, the other is the practical application of Elental Magic.

With fewer learners, the courses are more spread out, generally once every two weeks, but each session’s content density and difficulty are greatly increased.

And after he left, Laila used a reagent to detect Spiritual Contamination, observing the much lighter color with a satisfied smile on her face.

Unfortunately, as an Advanced Apprentice, she could only partake in basic course stages. If only more such talents could co along...
