Cassian stepped into the hallway, adjusting the cuff of his suit as he scanned the corridor.

"Has anyone seen Mira?" he asked one of the staff mbers passing by.

"She’s in the bridal suite, sir. Hair and final touches."

He nodded once and walked toward the room, his steps asured and composed until he reached the half-open door.

Inside, Mira sat before a tall mirror, her hair cascading down her back while the stylist secured the final pins into place. Soft evening light filtered through the windows, catching the subtle shimr woven into her gown. The delicate beading traced along the fabric like scattered starlight, reflecting faint glimrs with every small movent. She sat straight and composed, her posture calm yet radiant in its quiet confidence.

He did not enter imdiately. Instead, he remained where he stood, taking in the sight of her without interruption.

The stylist noticed him first and stepped aside discreetly. "You can co in," she said gently before slipping out to give them privacy.

Mira sensed his presence and turned slightly. Her eyes t his first in the mirror’s reflection before she slowly rose from the chair to face him properly.

The gown settled perfectly around her as she moved, the fabric flowing with graceful precision. Each step toward him carried the soft whisper of silk brushing against the polished floor, and the air in the room seed to grow warr as the distance between them closed.

For the first ti that evening, Cassian felt his carefully maintained composure falter.

He had seen her frustrated, determined, laughing without restraint, and standing her ground against him with unwavering resolve. He had always admired her strength and the fire she carried so effortlessly.

Yet this mont revealed sothing else entirely. The sharp confidence she wore so naturally was softened by the quiet glow of the evening light, and her strength now appeared layered with gentleness rather than defense. She did not seem fragile in any sense; instead, she appeared radiant in a way that felt steady and assured.

She stopped in front of him, studying his expression carefully. "Well?" she asked, a trace of nervous curiosity slipping through her otherwise composed tone.

He released a slow breath, only then realizing he had been holding it longer than intended.

"You..." His gaze traveled over her once, not hurried and not possessive, but thoughtful and attentive as though committing the sight of her to mory. "You look incredible."

A faint blush ward her cheeks at his quiet sincerity.

He stepped closer, lowering his voice so that it reached only her. "I knew you would. I just wasn’t prepared for how much."

Her soft laugh eased the lingering tension between them.

His reaction carried no exaggeration, only honesty.

As she turned toward the door, ready to step into the night that awaited them, he allowed himself one final lingering glance, imprinting the image of her in this exact mont—confident, composed, and walking toward him by choice.

......

Livia appeared at the doorway with a knowing smile.

"Excuse , you two. It’s ti. I’m taking you down the aisle. Ready?" she asked gently.

Mira inhaled deeply before nodding.

Cassian reached for her hand without speaking, threading his fingers through hers in a steady and grounding hold. Together, they stepped out into the open evening air.

The pool shimred beneath the darkening sky, reflecting strands of golden lights suspended overhead like delicate constellations. Ivory-draped tables circled the water, candles glowing softly within crystal holders. Arrangents of blush roses spilled from tall centerpieces and low bouquets alike, their fragrance blending seamlessly with the warmth of the coastal breeze.

Near the water’s edge stood a towering white cake adorned with subtle gold detailing and fresh florals. Every chair had been aligned with precision, every ribbon tied carefully in place. The resort felt transford into sothing intimate yet undeniably grand, elegant without excess.

Guests turned as Cassian and Mira appeared, admiration rippling quietly through the gathered crowd.

Lucien and Ivy stood near the front, dressed thoughtfully for the occasion. "They look perfect," Lucien murmured, unable to contain his awe. Ivy nodded, her eyes shining as she watched her parents approach the altar.

Music rose gently around them, weaving through the warm evening air.

The priest greeted them with a welcoming expression as they took their places.

"Marriage is not defined by perfect days," he began calmly. "It is defined by partnership and by the daily decision to remain present for one another through success, uncertainty, ordinary routines, and unexpected change."

He turned toward Cassian.

"Do you, Cassian Draymond, promise to stand beside Mira with honesty and loyalty? Will you protect her peace, respect her independence, and remain faithful not only in affection but also in action?"

Cassian held Mira’s gaze steadily. "I do."

The priest then faced Mira.

"Do you, Mira Serrano, promise to trust Cassian, to support him with patience and strength, and to build a life together rooted in understanding, forgiveness, and shared purpose?"

Her voice remained calm and unwavering. "I do."

"Then by the authority granted to , I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss."

Cassian stepped closer, resting his fingers along her jaw as his thumb brushed gently against her skin. He leaned in slowly, allowing the space between them to narrow at an unhurried pace, giving her ti to feel the warmth of his breath before their lips t.

The first touch was soft and deliberate, free from any need to perform for the watching crowd. His hand moved to her waist in a steady, protective hold, drawing her closer while her fingers curled naturally into the fabric of his jacket.

Their lips t again with greater depth, still controlled and certain in a way that felt uniquely theirs. The applause around them faded into distant sound as the warmth between them remained constant and grounding. There was clear intention in the way he held her and in the way she leaned into him without hesitation.

When they finally parted, they did so gently, their foreheads resting close as they shared a quiet breath before turning back toward their guests.

"Mommy! Cut the cake!" Lucien called enthusiastically.

Both of them laughed, the intimacy of the mont dissolving into joyful ease.

Cassian guided Mira toward the cake, placing his hand over hers as they held the knife together. Caras flashed softly while they cut the first slice, and Ivy clapped proudly as Lucien attempted to claim the largest piece before it was even served.

Parents approached next, offering warm embraces and heartfelt blessings.

"Take care of each other," Mira’s mother said softly.

"Marriage suits you," Cassian’s father added with a satisfied nod.

Livia returned to their side, arms folded with playful authority. "By the way, Cassian, the honeymoon suite is prepared exactly as requested. Private terrace and a full ocean view. You’re welco."

Mira shook her head with a smile, and Cassian responded calmly, "I expected nothing less."

Ryan approached shortly after, adjusting his jacket as if steadying himself. He stopped in front of Livia.

"You look..." He paused briefly before finishing. "You look stunning tonight."

She lifted an eyebrow, amused. "That sounded almost sincere."

"It is sincere," he replied, studying her more openly now. "You look exceptional."

Her lips curved subtly in response.

As guests moved around them, soone brushed past, causing Livia’s heel to catch against the edge of the deck. She stumbled forward slightly.

Ryan reacted instantly, securing her firmly at the waist. The sudden movent brought her closer than intended, her hands landing against his chest for balance.

Neither of them stepped away.

His grip adjusted subtly, ensuring she was steady, while their faces remained only inches apart. Their breathing shifted from surprise to sothing heavier and more deliberate.

"You alright?" he asked, his voice lower now.

"I am," she replied, though she made no effort to create distance between them.

The pause that followed carried unspoken tension.

Ryan closed the space between them without further hesitation.

Their lips t gently at first, as if confirming what had long been evident between them. The restraint that had defined their interactions for weeks faded quickly, replaced by certainty. His hand tightened at her waist as the kiss deepened with unmistakable intent. Nothing about the mont felt accidental; it carried the weight of restrained glances and unfinished tension finally finding release.

Her fingers curled into his jacket to steady herself as he leaned in again, unwilling to let the mont end prematurely. Their breathing grew uneven yet steady against one another, leaving no doubt about the shift that had just occurred.

Across the pool, Cassian nudged Mira subtly.

"Look," he murmured.

Mira turned and covered her mouth in an attempt to suppress her laughter.

"They’re not even pretending," she whispered.

Cassian shook his head with quiet amusent. "I doubt they’ll attribute that to balance."

When Ryan and Livia eventually pulled apart, they remained close, slightly breathless and fully aware of the attention directed toward them.

Their eyes t Cassian and Mira’s from across the space.

Mira raised her brows playfully, while Livia pointed a warning finger in response, though the color rising in her cheeks betrayed her composure. Ryan adjusted his jacket as though nothing out of the ordinary had occurred.

Under the soft glow of golden lights and the gentle hum of music, the celebration carried on, warr now and layered with shared laughter, lingering glances, and monts that would remain with them long after the night had ended.
