Talulah, a girl t only once.

To be honest, Li Lin had already started to forget what Talulah looked like exactly. Didn't know her height or build either. In his impression, there was only a foolish 'Wenqing disease' girl who liked writing letters asking people questions, seed to want to stir up so big news; that was probably the impression.

But during his hospitalization, Li Lin's letter had already reached Talulah's hands. That contact thod, which looked like adding a friend to chat, had beco the recent source of Li Lin's pain. He really hadn't anticipated how a girl whose interest was piqued could have so much energy every day to co ask this and that. If not for Li Lin making a bunch of excuses to stand her up, Li Lin had no doubt this person seed capable of staring at him like a 24-hour Q&A machine.

Reasonably speaking, having a beautiful girl co ask questions was naturally good, but now it wasn't online dating or shooting the breeze ; she really was purely asking questions, without any other superfluous words. Up till now, all Li Lin knew was that their cause probably related to Oripathy patients, wanting to fight for the legal status of Oripathy patients, and things like that. Besides that, regarding everything about the organization Talulah led, Li Lin knew absolutely nothing. Didn't even know what their na was. Only when talking about Oripathy patients did she seem to talk loftily sowhat. From this point, Talulah seed quite saintly (- often used derisively for naive/overly compassionate).

However, what made Li Lin feel sowhat strange was, she herself didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about Oripathy patients. She did indeed inquire about things, but her attitude towards these questions was sowhat cold, or rather, emotionless, which was also the reason Li Lin was unwilling to answer.

I'm telling you these things not for you to be a repeater just saying 'oh'; at least praise a bit, I have ideas too, right?

Within a few days, Li Lin grew sowhat tired of Talulah. So ti ago, he kept saying he was busy, had no ti to deal with her questions. Now she ca knocking again, couldn't just casually send her away. Li Lin thought for a mont, felt his mood was quite good. So he rcifully replied.

'Of course, which question do you want to ask?'

'Regarding the issue of ideology and team style, I don't quite understand.'

Inside the pitch-black chatroom, the ID nad Talulah inquired of Li Lin.

'Why are ideology and team building classified as key points by you? If, as you said, the most important things for an organization are strength and power, then just letting the cadres exert their own abilities and characteristics should suffice, why list conveying spiritual ssages as the top priority?'

'This question is actually very simple.'

Looking at the idiotic question raised above, Li Lin grinned and replied in the chatroom:

'Because what is being done isn't a one-shot deal . If it's just temporary destruction, then your thinking might be right. But this is a long-term, arduous, even seemingly hopeless struggle. Cannot cry just because of temporary failure, cannot be overjoyed just because of temporary victory. Spirit can make people's will resilient, can also turn grief into strength. What we need to do is a long-term, far-reaching activity, not sothing accomplished overnight .'

'We might be able to use a violent explosion, let those cadres freely display their talents and compose sothing magnificent. But, afterwards? Let the cadres exert themselves freely? Then what about the grassroots personnel? What about the bottom-level personnel? Does anyone care about their thoughts? If long-term victory can perhaps maintain so hope, but as long as the situation falls into a stalemate, not even needing failure, just a temporary stalemate, a team without ideological armant will collapse like loose sand. People not connected by spirit are isolated individuals, won't care about the survival of this organization.'

'Perhaps one cadre is very powerful, but what if facing the gazes of thousands, tens of thousands? What if facing the malice of the whole world? Where I'm from, there's an old saying: 'pointed at by a thousand fingers, dies without illness'. When ntal pressure reaches a certain limit, and there is no spiritual will, then destruction is the foreseeable future.'

'Certainly, you can say just keep winning. But you need to know, this is a gamble. Everything is a gamble. But since it's a gamble, why not raise the bottom line a bit higher?'

'…'

Indeed, this sense of intellectual superiority still has so benefits.

Li Lin typed out a long string of several hundred words, not caring if the Talulah opposite understood or not. He originally wanted to say sothing more, but stopped. Because he noticed a familiar figure had already walked out from the corner of Penguin Logistics, so he just directly typed 'bye bye' in the black chatroom.

'Sorry, I have so things in reality, let's talk about any questions tomorrow.'

'…Okay, thank you for your guidance.'

'You're welco, goodbye.'

Quickly typing a line on his phone, Li Lin looked at Officer Ch'en walking over from the corner, still with that upright and stern appearance; a relieved expression involuntarily appeared on his face.

Look, this is the protector god of the Lungn people, a good person saving people from dire straits . Although unsure what Officer Ch'en ant by seeking him out herself on this rest day, Li Lin still waved amiably at Officer Ch'en, who was frowning outside the door studying the new main gate.

"Hey, Officer Ch'en, over here, over here! What's up?"

"Are you guys on holiday?"

Glancing sowhat strangely at the glass main door, which had been damaged again yesterday from drinking too much and now looked like a piece of art, Officer Ch'en glanced at the dormitory where only Li Lin was present, asking sowhat curiously.

"Yeah. Saturday and Sunday off; although work is indeed a bit tough, employee benefits and such are still very good."

Stretching lazily on the chair, Li Lin looked at the frowning Officer Ch'en and asked directly:

"So Officer Ch'en, what brings you here?"

"Can't I co see you if I have nothing else to do?"

"Of course you can, but it doesn't feel like sothing Officer Ch'en, who is wholeheartedly devoted to the people, would do."

"Mm, your judgnt is not wrong. I indeed ca here looking for you for sothing."

"Are you looking for Penguin Logistics employees? If you want to send a package, I have the ergency number here; if Officer Ch'en finds it inconvenient, I can call them directly—"

"Not Penguin Logistics, but you."

Looking at Li Lin sitting on the chair, Officer Ch'en crossed her arms, her expression resolute.

"The special operations departnt has already been established; on the surface, it's established as a Lungn private investigation company; this layer of identity provides much convenience. And you will participate in the company's opening ceremony as the third largest shareholder of this investigation company. This ceremony won't be large, but it's very important. So you must also be present."
