Zorvax stood silently, his gaze intently focused on the five Ascendant corpses arrayed before him. He crouched down for a closer inspection, his eyes thodically scanning each body.

These corpses would appear indistinguishable from ordinary humans to any onlooker, but Zorvax knew better. There was more to these beings than t the eye, and he was determined to uncover it.

"Appearances can be deceiving," he murmured to himself, his voice low and thoughtful. As he observed them, his hand subconsciously stroked his chin, a gesture that bespoke his deep concentration and curiosity.

Realizing that a re visual assessnt would not suffice, Zorvax decided to consult his system for a more detailed analysis. He straightened up and activated the interface, his eyes flicking over the holographic screen that appeared before him.

"Hmm, not as valuable as I’d hoped," Zorvax mused, his voice a low murmur, as he examined the corpses. His brow creased slightly in a frown, a hint of disappointnt flickering in his eyes. He was clearly expecting sothing more from these Ascendant bodies.

Nearby, Ophelia watched Zorvax’s expressions closely, gauging his reaction to the situation. Her stance was relaxed yet alert, her eyes fixed on Zorvax. "Are they not of any use then?" she inquired, her voice calm but curious. She was trying to understand Zorvax’s perspective on the matter.

Zorvax, hearing Ophelia’s question, paused for a mont and looked up, eting her gaze. "Well," he began, his voice tinged with contemplation, "the mid-quality one could serve as a soldier, perhaps." He gestured towards one of the corpses, his hand moving in a thoughtful manner.

"But the idea of a human soldier amidst a wolf group..." His voice trailed off as he considered the implications, his expression showing a mix of intrigue and uncertainty. "It’s an unusual combination, to be sure."

Nearby, Ophelia watched Zorvax carefully, her head tilted slightly as she observed his deep contemplation. Stepping closer, her expression curious and slightly concerned, she sought to engage him further. "It’s indeed an odd situation," she said, her voice echoing his sentint.

She gestured towards the bodies with an open palm, her movents graceful yet deliberate. "What do you propose we do with these bodies?" Her inquisitive tone sought guidance, her eyes fixed on Zorvax, waiting for his response.

Zorvax, turning towards Ophelia, had a pensive look on his face as an idea began to take shape in his mind. "You know, initially, my plan was to conduct a thorough examination of their DNA and other physiological traits," he started, his voice steady and reflective. His eyes, sharp and analytical, conveyed the depth of his thoughts.

"But considering the circumstances, I think a small sample will suffice for now," Zorvax continued, a hint of intrigue in his voice as he mulled over the potential of what he was about to do.

Ophelia watched him, her curiosity evident. "A sample?" she inquired, her expression a mixture of interest and surprise. "How will you..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Zorvax’s hand began a remarkable transformation. His fingers elongated, shifting into tentacle-like appendages, each ending in a small, mouth-like structure. The sight was both fascinating and unnerving.

"I need to be precise," Zorvax explained, his tone matter-of-fact, as if such a transformation was a routine occurrence. He approached the corpses with a clinical detachnt, the tentacles extending towards them with a controlled grace.

With a surgeon’s precision, he used the tentacles to extract small tissue samples, taking bits of flesh and, with a particularly careful maneuver, sections of the brain. His movents were thodical, each action deliberate and calculated.

Ophelia watched in silence, her eyes following Zorvax’s every move. She could see the concentration on his face, the slight furrow of his brow indicating his focus on the task at hand.

Once Zorvax finished collecting the samples, his hand smoothly reverted to its normal form. He examined the small pieces he had gathered with a discerning eye, nodding slightly in approval. "These samples should provide us with so valuable insights," he comnted, his voice reflecting his keen interest in the potential discoveries they held.

He then glanced over the remaining bodies with a nonchalant air. "As for these," he gestured casually to the Ascendants’ corpses, "just leave them be. The forest creatures will take care of them." His dismissive tone clearly conveyed that his interest was solely in the samples he had obtained, not the bodies themselves.

Turning towards Ophelia, Zorvax’s deanor shifted to one of focused purpose. "I’m going to start analyzing these DNA samples right away. That’s our priority." His expression was resolute, a clear indication of his eagerness to delve into the research.

Ophelia, understanding the importance of the task at hand, nodded in agreent. She took a final glance at the bodies, then turned to the grey wolves. "Move these aside," she instructed them. Seeing that so of the grey wolf zombies seed interested in the bodies, she added, "If any of you wish to, you may consu them." Her tone was practical, acknowledging the nature of the zombies.

The grey wolves, responding to her command, began to drag the bodies away, so pausing to feed. Ophelia then turned her attention back to Zorvax, ready to assist with the analysis or any other tasks he might require.

Zorvax, with the DNA samples secured, began to walk away from the scene, his mind already racing with possibilities. His stride was steady and purposeful, indicative of a man on the brink of a scientific breakthrough. He was lost in thought, contemplating the potential insights the Ascendants’ genetic material might reveal.

His unique ability, the cybernetic nexus, allowed his body to function like a walking laboratory, equipped to analyze and interpret complex biological data. This capability was evident in his focused deanor and the way he interacted with the samples, his movents precise and efficient.

As Zorvax delved into his research, his expression was one of intense concentration. The surroundings seed to fade away as he focused solely on the task at hand. Ti passed, and Zorvax remained engrossed in his work, his cybernetic nexus processing the data with remarkable speed and accuracy.

Finally, after a period of intense analysis, Zorvax completed his research. A smile slowly spread across his face, a rare display of emotion that indicated his satisfaction with the findings. "Fascinating," he murmured to himself, his voice low but filled with a sense of achievent.
