Ophelia, her eyes fixed intently on her targets, unleashed a relentless barrage of wind and fla bullets. Each shot, charged with elental power, exploded upon impact, creating a chaotic ballet of fire and wind that swirled around the Ascendants. The forest around them seed to shiver under the intensity of her assault.

At the forefront of the defense, Magnus was struggling to keep up. His stone hands, normally so reliable, moved frantically in an attempt to block and deflect the incoming projectiles. Beads of sweat dripped down his forehead as he grunted with the effort, his face contorted with the strain of each movent. "I can’t hold on much longer!" he yelled, his voice hoarse with exertion.

Nira, hearing the desperation in Magnus’s voice, quickly responded with determination in her eyes. "Hang in there, just a bit more!" she called back, her guns blazing as she expertly aid at the bullets whizzing towards them. Her face was the picture of intense focus, though it was clear she was struggling to intercept all of Ophelia’s relentless attacks.

Lucas and Steven, witnessing their comrade’s struggle, knew they had to intervene. Steven, gripping his wind spear tightly, leaped into action. He executed a series of swift, precise slashes, each movent creating sharp wind blades that sliced through the air. "Cutting through!" he shouted, his face set in a grimace of concentration as his spear whirled around him.

Lucas, not to be outdone, brandished his fla sword with fierce determination. "Ti to turn up the heat!" he declared, swinging his sword in powerful arcs. Each swing released a wave of fla blades, his expression fierce and unyielding as the flas from his sword clashed with Ophelia’s elental bullets.

Together, they ford a formidable duo. Lucas’s fla blades and Steven’s wind cuts combined in a stunning display of power and skill, significantly reducing the number of bullets that threatened Magnus. The forest around them was alight with the spectacle of their wind and fire, a desperate counter against Ophelia’s assault.

Amidst the clashing and clanging of the battle, Ophelia stood observing the Ascendants’ efforts. A chuckle escaped her lips as she watched their coordinated defense. "You’ve got so skills," she taunted, her voice dripping with amusent. In the heat of the mont, however, she missed a critical shift in the battlefield dynamics.

Lyra, capitalizing on the chaos her teammates had created, darted swiftly through the underbrush, approaching Ophelia from behind. Unseen and unheard, she readied herself for a decisive strike. "Die, Quick Dragon Slash!" Lyra yelled, adrenaline pumping through her veins as she thrust her sword forward with lethal intent.

Ophelia, sensing the sudden movent behind her, spun around. Her eyes briefly flashed wide in surprise at Lyra’s presence, then quickly narrowed, transforming into a knowing, almost mocking smile.

Lyra, seeing the change in Ophelia’s expression, hesitated for a fraction of a second. Her resolve wavered as uncertainty flickered in her eyes. "What are you?" she demanded, her voice a mix of anger and doubt.

Before Ophelia could respond, a dark shadow erged from the forest’s depths. Blackie, a fearso black wolf with a nacing aura, surged towards Lyra with a predatory grace. "Shadow Fang!" he growled, lunging at her with teeth bared.

Lyra, taken by surprise, attempted a swift maneuver to evade the attack. However, Blackie was too fast. His teeth clamped down on her neck with a ferocious bite, his assault both sudden and savage.

A look of stark shock and pain flashed across Lyra’s face as she realized the gravity of her situation. "I should not have co here," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the commotion of the fight. These were her last words as her strength rapidly drained from her body.

The remaining Ascendants, witnessing this horrific scene, stood frozen in shock for a mont. Disbelief and horror were etched on their faces as they saw Lyra fall to the ground, lifeless.

As they processed the gravity of what had just happened, their attention turned to the new arrival. The large black wolf, now calmly standing beside Ophelia, seed to be an ally of hers, adding a new layer of threat to the already intense situation.

Ophelia glanced at Blackie, a slight nod conveying her approval. "Good job," she stated, her voice cool and collected, expressing her satisfaction with Blackie’s swift and effective intervention.

Lucas, witnessing the scene, couldn’t contain his fury. "Damn it!" he cursed loudly, his voice seething with anger and grief. He then turned his burning gaze towards Ophelia, his eyes blazing with rage. "You beast, how dare you kill her!" he shouted, his tone laced with accusation and hatred.

Ophelia, unflinching under Lucas’s fiery stare, retorted calmly, "If you’re going to try and kill , then prepare yourself to be killed." Her voice was steady, almost challenging.

Lucas’s eyes seed to burn even brighter red with fury. His resolve hardened; he couldn’t let this "monster" before him continue to exist. Gripping his sword tightly, flas engulfed the blade, illuminating his determined face.

Steven, sharing Lucas’s sentint, joined in. Clutching his spear, he summoned a powerful burst of wind from within, his expression one of fierce determination.

Magnus, seeing his teammates ready for a coordinated attack, stepped in to assist. He lifted both Steven and Lucas, preparing to launch them towards Ophelia for a more potent assault.

Nira, keenly observing the battlefield, called out to Magnus. "Aim to the right, Magnus! Now’s our chance!" she instructed, her voice clear and commanding.

Magnus, following Nira’s direction, threw Steven and Lucas with all his might, propelling them towards Ophelia at an incredible speed.

As they soared through the air, Lucas and Steven combined their powers for a devastating attack. "Firestorm Dragon Slash!" they yelled in unison, unleashing a formidable blend of fire and wind towards Ophelia. The combined attack created a swirling vortex of flas and gusts, a spectacular and terrifying sight.

Ophelia, facing the incoming onslaught, readied herself. Her expression was one of focus, but a hint of anticipation flickered in her eyes. The air around them crackled with energy, the forest echoing with the power of their clash.

The Ascendants, united in their resolve to avenge their fallen comrade, were prepared to go to any lengths. The battle was reaching a critical point, and the outco hung in the balance, with each side ready to give their all.
