Lyra made her way to the room where the four Tier 3 Ascendants were awaiting her arrival. Each of them possessed unique abilities that made them formidable in their own right. As she entered the room, she observed their expressions and postures, each reflecting their distinct personalities and combat styles.

Steven, who possessed the ability of the Wind Spear, stood with a posture that suggested agility and readiness. His expression was calm, yet there was a sharpness in his eyes, mirroring the wind elent he controlled. "With my ability, I can harness the wind through my spear, executing various wind-infused spear moves," he explained, his tone confident yet modest.

Lucas, the wielder of the Fla Sword ability, leaned against the wall, his deanor more relaxed. His eyes, however, burned with an intensity that matched his fiery ability. "Like Steven, I can only use my elental power with my sword. My moves are a fusion of fla and sword techniques," he said, a slight smirk on his face, showcasing his pride in his skills.

Magnus, whose ability was Stone Hand, had his arms crossed, his physical build more robust compared to the others. "My ability allows to coat my hands in stone, enhancing their size and strength. It’s a straightforward power but very effective in close combat," he stated, flexing his hands demonstratively.

Nira, the Sharpshooter, stood slightly apart from the others, her stance relaxed yet alert. "My ability increases my accuracy and the damage I inflict with gun-type weapons. It makes a deadly long-range fighter," she said, her voice calm but carrying an undertone of lethal precision.

Lyra nodded at each of them in acknowledgnt. "And my ability is that of a Sword Master. It enables to learn and execute nurous sword techniques at an accelerated pace, and my sword attacks are significantly stronger," she explained, her tone reflecting both respect for her companions’ abilities and confidence in her own.

"Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, let’s focus on the mission," Lyra stated, her voice steady and authoritative. She stood at the head of the table, her posture upright, exuding a sense of purpose.

Magnus, lounging casually in his chair, responded with a dismissive wave of his hand, "Aren’t we just checking out so mysterious aura you stumbled upon in the forest?" His voice dripped with condescension as if the task was hardly worth their ti.

Lyra, unfazed by his attitude, maintained her composed deanor. "This is more than a re investigation. The aura I encountered was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It’s imperative we approach this with caution," she insisted, her gaze firm, eting each of their eyes to emphasize her point.

Steven, leaning back against the wall with his arms crossed and a smirk playing on his lips, casually interjected, "Sounds overwhelming for you, Lyra. But let’s not forget, we are Tier 3 Ascendants. What could possibly pose a threat to us in that forest?"

Lucas, with a flick of his hair and a nonchalant posture, chuckled at Steven’s remark. "Precisely. We’re not so novices. Whatever’s out there, we’ll handle it with ease," he said, his tone brimming with overconfidence.

Nira, standing a bit aloof from the group, her arms firmly crossed, joined in with a confident grin. "I say we wrap this up quickly. It’s probably just so wild creatures. Nothing we can’t handle."

Lyra, slightly frowning at their cavalier attitude, leaned forward, placing her hands on the table. "Underestimating an unknown entity is unwise. We don’t know what we’re dealing with yet. It’s crucial to be prepared for any scenario," she said, her voice carrying a mix of firmness and reason.

Magnus, exuding an air of nonchalance, leaned back comfortably in his chair, the very picture of a relaxed powerhouse. He scoffed lightly at Lyra’s warning, "This is not our first rodeo," he said, his voice oozing overconfidence. His casual dismissal was evident not just in his tone, but also in the lazy, almost careless way he draped his arm over the back of the chair.

Lyra’s response was imdiate; her gaze hardened as she locked eyes with him. Standing her ground, she retorted, "This might be different. We can’t afford to take any risks." Her voice was firm and steady, a stark contrast to Magnus’s laid-back deanor. She leaned forward slightly, emphasizing her point with a pointed finger.

Steven, who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, smirked at Lyra’s apparent concern. He pushed himself off the wall and took a step towards her. "Co on, Lyra, we’ve handled worse," he said with a mocking tone, clearly undermining the gravity of the situation. "What’s so special about this aura that’s got you so worked up?"

Lucas, who was fiddling with a lighter, flicked it open and closed casually. He shrugged, adding to the chorus of dismissive comnts. "Yeah, we’re Tier 3 Ascendants. Whatever’s out there, we can handle it. No sweat." His nonchalant attitude was mirrored in the way he flipped the lighter with practiced ease, his face relaxed and unconcerned.

Nira, who had been examining her nails with an air of indifference, looked up and chid in, "Exactly. We’re not so novices to be scared off by a strange aura." She waved her hand dismissively as if swatting away Lyra’s concerns. "Let’s just get this over with and move on."

Lyra, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation, sighed deeply. She stood up, her movents slow and deliberate, showing a sense of weary patience. "Alright, let’s head to the forest and see for ourselves." Her voice carried a hint of resignation, acknowledging the futility of arguing further.

As she led the way out of the room, her steps were firm, her posture upright, reflecting her resolve despite the group’s overconfidence. The others followed, their steps casual, their expressions smug, each displaying their arrogance in their own way.

Lyra’s mind was filled with thoughts of caution and preparedness, while the others seed unfazed by the potential dangers that awaited them in the forest where she had felt the mysterious aura just a few days ago. The contrast in their attitudes was stark, setting the stage for what could be an unexpected and challenging exploration.
