Inside the gymnasium.

A large number of ordinary zombies crowded together, densely packed, and roars continuously echoed.

These ordinary zombies looked extrely hideous and terrifying.

However, without undergoing evolution, their bodies had gradually beco more haggard and miserable over ti.

Perhaps due to the long ti without eating, their bodies beca extrely thin, now baring their teeth at their surroundings.

Because of the large gathering of zombies, the gymnasium was filled with a heavy stench of rot.

These ordinary zombies, devoid of thought and consciousness, had no idea what fate awaited them.

Under Lu Chuan’s control, a circle of evolved zombies was standing outside the gymnasium, their imnse pressure making the ordinary zombies shiver, not daring to run outside.

If human survivors ca to the stadium and saw the massive number of zombies there, they would probably faint from fright.

After the apocalypse outbreak, even these ordinary zombies caused humanity countless troubles.

Except for the Evolvers, ordinary humans hardly had any courage to fight back against these bloodthirsty zombies.

Yet at this mont, these zombies, considered a great calamity to humans, appeared unusually quiet, even their bodies were trembling.

With evolved zombies surrounding the gymnasium, these zombies did not dare to run outside at all.

Of course.

Even if they wanted to escape, it would be useless as the gymnasium only had one exit, while the rest were completely sealed off.

Crack!

Lightning One opened the only door, and then Da Pang forcefully threw chunks of cut mutant fierce beast flesh into the gymnasium.

The fresh sll of blood instantly attracted these zombies.

Since the apocalypse, these bloodthirsty zombies wandering the streets hadn’t slled fresh human flesh in a long ti.

Fresh fierce beast flesh had a deadly attraction for them.

In an instant, these zombies’ vicious nature was triggered.

Zombies that could coexist peacefully suddenly started fierce fights.

They began frantically scrambling for the flesh, as if goldfish fighting for bait in a fish tank.

"Not bad, not bad, from now on this will be my zombie breeding base."

Watching the ongoing battle inside the gymnasium, Lu Chuan felt very satisfied.

He was eagerly anticipating how many evolved zombies would appear after so ti.

Now that the zombie breeding base had been set up, his next task was to hunt more mutant fierce beasts.

Now he needed not only to support Little Qiqi, who was a foodie, but also to feed this large group of zombies.

The path to becoming stronger truly was a long and arduous journey...

...

Yellow Dragon Town, inside a rather old five-story residential building.

"Quan, look quickly! That zombie horde is moving again!"

A thin man with a sallow complexion excitedly spoke while watching Lu Chuan’s convoy pass through Yellow Dragon Town from the second-floor window.

"Really don’t know what the deal is with this zombie convoy, coming and going in Yellow Dragon Town several tis."

The man referred to as Quan was a middle-aged man around thirty or forty years old, also an Evolver and the leader of the survivor team.

Yellow Dragon Town was a tourist town, and before the apocalypse outbreak, it was sumr and also the peak tourist season.

Zhang Quan just happened to be with a tour group visiting this area when the zombie crisis struck upon reaching Yellow Dragon Town.

The tour guide within the group suddenly mutated right on the bus, crazily biting those sitting in the front row; fortunately, Zhang Quan was seated in the back and avoided being attacked.

But he quickly chose to charge forward, using the fire extinguisher on the bus to smash the zombie guide’s head into a pulp.

Before the rest of the tourists could transform, he opened the door and led everyone out.

However, when the tour group descended from the bus, they found the world in chaos, with accidents and explosions happening everywhere.

Many, like the guide before them, started crazily biting the pedestrians on the streets.

The streets filled with screams and wails, and the originally peaceful tourist town suddenly beca a living nightmare.

Zhang Quan kept a clear head, leading everyone through the crowds and fled to a quieter old residential area nearby.

But by the ti the group of originally around fifty tourists reached here, only twenty or so remained.

The rest had all been killed by zombies en route, and the remaining tourists were all in shock.

Even in this old residential area, zombies also appeared.

Fortunately, the tour group had many physically strong adult males, who grabbed whatever tools they could as weapons, and under Zhang Quan’s leadership, they fought their way into an old residential building.

After they completely locked the gates downstairs, it was only then they realized that the large tour group had been reduced to rely a dozen people.

However, so people within the building had already transford into zombies, and while clearing the building, a few others were bitten.

There were also several local survivors within the building, and everyone imdiately ford a survivor team, electing Zhang Quan, who led them here, as the leader.

With the supplies available in the residential building, Zhang Quan and the others held their ground, enduring until now.

Watching the convoy pass through town, Zhang Quan and several adult males had already packed their bags.

Each of them wielding baseball bats and homade spears and such simple gear, they prepared to go out searching for supplies.

Their stance clearly indicating it wasn’t their first ti doing it.

Zhang Quan glanced at the receding convoy and said in a deep voice, "This zombie horde has really helped us a lot. Everyone, get ready and charge out with ."

Lu Chuan’s Corpse Puppet convoy, every ti it passed through the town, attracted large numbers of zombies, which they killed along the way.

Unintentionally, they reduced quite a bit of survival pressure for the town’s survivors.

Zhang Quan’s survivor team would take advantage of this mont to venture out for supplies.

Seeing the convoy gradually disappear from view, the survivors inside the building were still amazed, and curious about what this zombie convoy was doing in Yellow Dragon Town.

...

After previous battles with various mutated fierce beasts, Lu Chuan now led the Corpse Puppet army directly into the interior of Yellow Dragon Mountain.

But surprisingly, there were no fierce beasts around; instead, there were spreading blood-colored vines.

Glancing around, Lu Chuan noticed a large number of fierce beast carcasses near these blood-colored vines.

Among them were several massive carcasses, which evidently were not weak in power.

This scene imdiately made Lu Chuan alert.

This large number of mutated beasts dying here.

Evidently, the blood-colored vine forest was not a safe place.

Just as he realized sothing was amiss, these blood-colored vines suddenly began moving.

They then swept directly towards the direction of the evolved Corpse Puppets.

"Damn! Are you kidding ?!"

"Mutated animals are one thing, but even plants are freaking mutating?!"
