The open field was actually a yard that was part of a vineyard. The main building was old, and so parts needed to be repaired. The tal gate had long been broken by force, and no one knew what had happened before in this place.

After they drove inside the yard area, the Phantom team mbers ca out of the car. As usual, Wen Mo and Wen Kai created a tal wall to block the zombies outside, while Jiao Lizhi stored their cars in her space.

At the sa ti, Qin Luzi checked the map in his mind and said, "Captain, there is a group of people hiding here."

Hearing this, Jin Xuyan looked around and said, "We will check them later. Clear the zombies first."

"Understood," the mbers replied in unison.

As soon as the tal wall was built, the mbers leaped to the top of it. Standing on top of the wall, they could see the situation clearly. Although the number of zombies had almost reached ten thousand, they were used to facing more zombies and were as calm as monks.

With their tacit understanding, they split into four teams and went in different directions. One team had five mbers, while Jin Xuyan and Jiao Lizhi would go wherever the sides needed help.

While the sound of explosions echoed in the area, a group of people was hiding inside the underground cellar.

Although the cellar had ventilation, without proper cleaning for almost half a year, the airflow was not as good as before. At this mont, the air inside the cellar was stuffy and slled like moss mixed with a rancid scent.

As they heard the sound coming from outside, no one dared to talk. This was not the first ti for people to enter their estate, but this was the first ti they had t a group of people attracting so many zombies.

The mont they saw a large group of zombies coming in this direction, they quickly took their belongings and hid in the underground cellar. They did not know how long they had been hiding when the sound outside started to die down.

They waited for another half an hour, and when they no longer heard any roar of zombies, a middle-aged woman finally asked, "Dad, should we go out and check the situation? There is no longer the sound of zombies; maybe those people have left."

After she said this, everyone nodded in agreent. Unlike them, the old man shook his head and said, "We should wait longer. Even if there were no more zombie’s roar, it does not guarantee that those people have left. What if they killed all the zombies and were looking for supplies?"

As soon as he said this, a middle-aged man frowned and said, "Impossible. The number of zombies following them should be thousands if not tens of thousands."

"Dad, no matter how strong those people are, it is impossible to kill so many zombies with only twenty or so people," another middle-aged man added.

Hearing this, an old woman nodded and said, "Old man, our sons saw that there were only a few cars chased by the zombies. Even if the cars were fully boarded, at most there were only thirty people."

"Grandpa, you must be overthinking. It was impossible for them to kill all the zombies. So, those people should have left," a young woman said.

The old man went silent after he heard his granddaughter’s words.

While the family was still discussing whether to co out or not, the Phantom team was currently taking a break. It took them two hours to kill more than ten thousand zombies.

If they burned the corpses, they would not need so much ti to clear up the battlefield. But Jin Xuyan recalled that after the sumr, the temperature would drop suddenly, and they would face a long winter. There would no longer be spring or autumn.

After the mutation of the vegetation and plants, it would be hard for them to gather firewood, and the amount of coal was limited.

Combined with no sunlight during the long winter, the solar panel would be rendered useless, as it would barely be able to produce any electricity.

In his previous life, his base had to depend on the lightning-type ability-users to sustain the central heater. To avoid facing the sa problem, he decided to get more zombie corpses.

Although the mbers did not know why their Captain wanted so many zombie corpses, they still followed his order and got to work. While they did not know, Jiao Lizhi recalled the harsh winter.

Since she had a lot of space to store the tal cubes, she turned to Feng Yun and said, "I will store these things; you just help them clean the area."

Feng Yun knew that her space was different from theirs, so he did not refuse and agreed readily, "Okay."

After a brief conversation with him, Jiao Lizhi went to check the grape farm area.

While everyone was busy, Jin Xuyan was checking the outer area with Qin Luzi. With his map, it was easy for them to find scattered zombies in the estate. After they eliminated all the zombies, the two of them finally entered the main building.

This building was a three-story building. While the building was covered with dust and dried black blood, they still saw signs of people living in this place.

They checked every part of the building and saw that, besides the expensive but useless furniture, the house was almost empty.

Twenty minutes later, they finally went to the underground cellar. Looking at the tal door, they exchanged glances for a mont before Qin Luzi took out his walkie-talkie.

He pressed a button and said, "Wen Mo, co to the main building, underground cellar."

Receiving the order, Wen Mo replied instantly, "Understood."

They waited for ten minutes before Wen Mo arrived. Without the need for them to tell him, he placed his hand on the tal door.

The next mont, the door suddenly lted and turned into a huge lump of tal. Everything happened in less than ten seconds, catching everyone inside off guard.
