Noticing the new mbers’ painful expressions, Jin Xuyan said, "Even if you are an Ability-User, you can’t neglect training your combat skills and stamina. You can’t depend on your ability alone to survive during battle."

The mbers understood that during battle, the one they could depend on was themselves. So, everyone understood that daily training was important. They nodded and replied in unison, "Understood."

Jin Xuyan smiled when he saw their determination and said, "The points from completing our missions have been issued to our team’s card. I will transfer the points to you all now."

After he said this, Xiao Qi quickly took out a portable transfer machine from his space and asked, "Captain, how much do we get this ti?"

Taking out the Phantom Team card from his pocket, Jin Xuyan explained, "Our team finished one S-Rank mission and four A-Rank missions.

"The initial reward was five hundred thousand points for the S-Rank mission and a total of six hundred thousand points for the A-Rank missions."

"But the base gave us an additional reward of one hundred seventy-five thousand points. So, we have a total of one million, two hundred seventy-five thousand points."

The mont he finished his words, the mbers cheered while Chen Wenwu was stunned. He knew that by completing a mission, they could earn points, but he never expected them to earn almost one million, three hundred thousand points in one swoop.

Noticing his shock, Li Sikai patted his shoulder and said, "The missions our team takes are mostly high-risk and dangerous. Besides us, other rcenary teams wouldn’t take them. So, the reward is high."

Hearing his explanation, Chen Wenwu finally understood. They were risking their lives to complete missions that no one wanted, so it was normal for the base to pay them higher.

"Captain, how much will we get this ti?" Shen Jinzhe asked.

"Each mber will receive thirty-five thousand points, and the rest will be used for the team’s expenditure," Jin Xuyan said.

The mbers had no objection and handed over their cards to Jin Xuyan. Using the machine, he transferred the points to the mbers. After he was done, he looked at Chen Wenwu and asked, "Chen Wenwu, have you got the permanent resident card?"

Chen Wenwu nodded and replied, "Captain, I already got it after I recovered from my injuries."

Jin Xuyan reached out and said, "Give your card."

Although he didn’t know why he wanted his card, Chen Wenwu still handed it over obediently. While he was a new mber and had not completed any missions, he was now a mber of their team and was recomnded by Li Sikai.

So, looking at Li Sikai’s face, Jin Xuyan still transferred five thousand points to Chen Wenwu. As he returned the card to him, he said, "Train hard and learn from the mbers. If you die during the mission, we won’t bring your body back."

Chen Wenwu was stunned by his words. After being nudged by Li Sikai, he quickly nodded and replied, "Captain, I will work hard."

"I don’t need you to work hard. Just be smart and stay alive when you go out. You have to know that the mont you die, it’s the end. You won’t have a second chance," Jin Xuyan said firmly.

After his parents died to protect him, no one ever treated him so well or cared about his life and death anymore. Now that he had t these people, he realized that he was no longer alone.

"Understood," he nodded.

Sitting at the next table, the mbers of Pei Yijun’s team stared at them and felt sour. Both of the teams were accepting dangerous missions, but why could that team live so well while they were struggling even to get an extra bite of food?

While his mbers were feeling envious, even jealous of the Phantom Team, Pei Yijun’s gaze never left his sister. After he lost track of her last night, he thought it would be hard to find her. Unexpectedly, he saw her this morning.

He wanted to talk to her, but that annoying man kept blocking him. If not for the base’s rules forbidding people from fighting inside the base, he would have fought that man on the spot!

"Brother Pei, are you not going to talk to your sister?" Li Yang asked.

After the zombie virus was removed from his body, he was able to return to normal life, even though he was still unable to fight.

Hearing his question, Pei Yijun shook his head and replied, "It’s not the right place."

Li Yang nodded and said, "Brother Pei, how about you talk to Captain Jin and ask him to help you diate? No matter what, your sister is now his team mber. Even if she is willing to go back with you, she still has to inform Captain Jin."

Pei Yijun nodded and said, "Don’t worry, I know what to do."

Since he had said so, Li Yang stopped talking about this matter and chatted with the mbers. They didn’t know how long they would stay in this place, and they didn’t have enough crystal cores. So, after so discussion, they agreed to take a mission in the mission hall and earn so points to spend.

Ten minutes later, everyone finished their al and went to the mission hall, leaving only Pei Yijun waiting for Jin Xuyan and his sister.

Seeing that the Phantom Team was leaving, he walked over and said, "Captain Jin, can I talk with you for a mont?"

Jin Xuyan nodded and said, "We can talk in my place." Before leaving, he turned to Pei Yixie and said, "You also co with ."

eting her half-brother’s narrowed eyes, Pei Yixie swallowed the words of rejection at the tip of her tongue and could only follow him obediently.

To boost her courage, she pulled at Fu Guai’s hand and asked him to accompany her. Since he had promised her, Fu Guai nodded and went with her.
