He stared at the stitch marks on her chest and stomach for a while before he reached into his backpack and pulled out a syringe with a blue liquid inside.

The next mont, he stabbed the needle into Feng Xiu’s heart and injected the blue liquid. Afterward, he put the syringe back into his backpack and fed her a golden-colored crystal core.

When he was done, he took out a set of won’s clothes from his backpack and started dressing Feng Xiu. Ten minutes later, he left the morgue with her on his back.

Thirty minutes later, he placed Feng Xiu on an SUV’s passenger seat. After he buckled up her seat belt, he turned on the engine and pressed on the pedal. When they reached the gate, the corner of his lips lifted.
