Although he didn’t know what had happened in the past four years, Fu Guai knew that his body was no longer the sa as before after the experints the facility had done to him.

His intuition told him that his body was most likely injected with the zombie virus. Therefore, he was unsure if he would be able to consu human food.

But after he regained his consciousness, he couldn’t bring himself to consu human flesh like zombies. Fortunately, he was still a human and not a monster.

Half an hour later, Fu Guai finished the last drop of the chicken soup.

Looking at the empty plates and bowls, Jiao Lizhi muttered, "Fortunately, we have lots of supplies. Otherwise, he would starve to death when we went broke."

Fu Guai had sharp senses and heard her words clearly. This was the first ti he t his sister-in-law, yet he left such an impression on her. Feeling embarrassed, he scratched his nose with a lowered head.

Jin Xuyan chuckled when he saw this and said, "Fu Guai, you don’t have to feel embarrassed with your family. Since Ah Zhi and I cook, you will clean up the dishes."

The mont he heard this, Fu Guai nodded and quickly cleaned up the table. While he was washing the dishes, Jiao Lizhi asked her fiancé in a low voice, "Brother Yan, now that your friend has regained his mories, what do you plan to do next?"

After a mont of silence, Jin Xuyan replied, "Ah Zhi, I want to bring him out. But if I do that, your secret will be exposed. I don’t know whether to bring him out or lock him here forever."

Jiao Lizhi was stunned by his words. She considered the pros and cons for a long ti before she said, "Brother Yan, he is your friend, and he has his own freedom. We have no right to lock him here. But I also can’t trust him fully and expose my secret."

Reaching out, Jin Xuyan held her hand and said, "Ah Zhi, whatever decision you make, I will support you."

Hearing this, Jiao Lizhi smiled and replied, "Okay."

Just after they finished their conversation, Fu Guai walked out of the kitchen. The three of them sat around the dining table in silence.

Five minutes later, Jiao Lizhi finally said, "Brother Fu, you must be wondering what this place is."

Fu Guai nodded at her words.

"This place is inside my space. To be honest, I don’t trust you. If I let you out, the possibility of you exposing my secret is not zero," Jiao Lizhi continued.

Hearing this, Fu Guai lowered his gaze to hide his surprise and unwillingness to stay in this place forever. Even though this place was beautiful and peaceful, he had things he had to do. Staying here was not sothing he wanted.

Noticing his clenched fists, Jiao Lizhi smiled and added, "But, it’s not impossible to let you out."

The mont she said this, Fu Guai raised his head to look at her. Jiao Lizhi opened her palm and a water droplet floated above her palm.

She showed the water droplet to him and said, "Brother Fu, as long as you swallow this water droplet, I will take you out."

When he heard this, Fu Guai stood up from his seat, leaned forward, and swallowed the water droplet without hesitation.

Sitting beside his fiancée, Jin Xuyan’s eyes flashed with surprise. Seeing another man being fed by his fiancée, he felt uncomfortable and frowned deeply.

Not noticing her fiancé’s jealousy, Jiao Lizhi was stunned by Fu Guai’s action. It took her a mont to regain her composure and said, "Brother Fu, I haven’t told you what this water droplet is yet."

After swallowing the water droplet, Fu Guai frowned as he felt a piercing pain in his head. The pain lasted for ten seconds before it disappeared.

Letting out a sigh, Jiao Lizhi said, "That water you just swallowed was made by condensing my ability-energy. Right now, my energy is planted in your brain. I can blast your brain as long as I activate the energy."

When Fu Guai heard this, he nodded. For him, it was normal for her to plant sothing that could control his life and death. After all, he knew her secret. If the secret about this space was exposed, her life would be in danger.

Seeing that he didn’t show any reaction and was still staring at her calmly, Jiao Lizhi let out a helpless chuckle and said, "As long as you keep my secret, I won’t do anything to you."

Fu Guai nodded again.

Since they had reached an agreent, Jiao Lizhi said, "We will leave this space. When we go out, we might be surrounded by zombies. So, you have to prepare yourself."

After she said this, she waved her hand and a blade appeared on the table.

"Brother Fu, you can use this blade for now. After we go back to base, I will ask Brother Wen Mo to make a better one for you."

Fu Guai picked up the weapon. After he checked the blade for a mont, he shook his head.

"Fu Guai, you don’t want the blade?" Jin Xuyan asked.

To answer his question, Fu Guai raised his hand. The next mont, long, sharp silver nails appeared on his fingers. Under the lamp, the sharp nails glinted brightly. When he clenched his fist, the sharp nails disappeared instantly.

Since he already had a weapon, Jiao Lizhi didn’t bother to give him the blade anymore. She held her fiancé’s hand and said, "Brother Yan, you can hold Brother Fu’s hand."

Jin Xuyan touched Fu Guai’s shoulder and the next mont, the three of them left the space and reappeared outside.

At this mont, the sun was shining brightly and the temperature was hot. The difference in temperature made Fu Guai frown slightly. Using his palm to block the sunlight, he looked around.

He was taken aback by the city’s situation.
