As he finished speaking, he slowly stood up. Seeing that he was about to leave, Ivy imdiately stopped him. "Wait."
Nanami paused. "Why?"
Her voice was low. "Why am I going to be killed in the future?"
Nanami chuckled softly. "It’s because of your bloodline."
The smile on his face gradually disappeared.
"Your bloodline is far purer than that of hybrids. It is even purer than royalty, maybe."
His eyes beca serious.
"Even the neutral factions will view you as a threat. They will not celebrate your existence. They will fear it."
The atmosphere instantly beca heavier. "If you truly wish to survive, continue following my plan."
His lips curled into a faint smile. "I won’t disappoint you."
Ivy laughed inwardly. ’Let’s hope that’s true.’
Her eyes narrowed slightly. ’Otherwise, I will drag you down with .’
Hearing those unspoken thoughts reflected in her expression, Nanami chuckled. "That is exactly what I like about you."
His eyes sparkled with amusent.
"You possess the courage to challenge anyone. You are reckless. You are ruthless."
Then his expression softened slightly.
"But rember sothing. People can only afford to be reckless when they have nothing worth protecting."
His gaze lingered on her. "Are you really that kind of person?"
With those words, he turned and began walking away.
Before he could leave, Silas suddenly spoke. "Oh, there are definitely people she worries about."
His calm voice echoed through the room. "But don’t forget that every single person has a weakness."
The smile on Silas’s face never changed.
"If you target hers, I will target yours."
For the first ti, Nanami’s expression twitched. Then, surprisingly, excitent appeared in his eyes. "You know what?"
He laughed. "I’m genuinely excited to work with all of you."
His gaze swept across the group. "Everyone of you is such an interesting character."
With that, he finally disappeared from sight.
After a few monts of silence, Ivy chuckled. "Honestly, karma is such a strange thing."
Bella looked toward her. "What do you an?"
Ivy shook her head. "First, Benny betrayed us."
A faint smile appeared on her face. "And now Nanami is preparing to betray the superior beings."
Bella frowned. "To be honest, I don’t think Nanami is a good person."
Her expression remained wary. "Every ti I look at him, I feel as though he is incredibly dangerous."
Ivy slowly nodded. "I agree."
However, she ultimately decided to wait and see what Nanami would do next.
Two months passed in the blink of an eye.
During those two months, nobody moved against Nanami, Tammy, or Coco.
The reason was simple. Nanami had long ago inford Ivy that Tammy was preparing to attack using human puppets.
When Ivy first learned about it, alarm bells imdiately rang in her mind.
She had nearly mobilized her entire army. Part of her even wanted to expose the information to the entire world.
However, Nanami had stopped her. "Leave them alone for now."
His voice had been unusually firm. "Those humans will beco useful later."
Although Ivy disliked the idea, she eventually cald down.
During those two months, she focused on expanding her own influence.
New movies were released. New television episodes were produced. Her entertainnt empire continued growing at an astonishing pace.
At the sa ti, she strengthened every aspect of the base’s security.
Defensive systems were upgraded. Patrols increased. Training sessions beca much harsher.
She also ordered her people to continue cultivating using the cultivation crystals.
The purification process had beco significantly more difficult than before.
Only superior beings were now permitted near the crystal storage areas.
The restrictions existed because nobody fully understood the crystals’ true nature.
Naturally, Ivy questioned Nanami about them countless tis.
Unfortunately, every attempt resulted in the sa answer. "I don’t know."
That response surprised Ivy. Nanami eventually admitted that the cultivation crystals were a mystery even to him.
He could clearly sense that superior beings were incapable of using them properly.
Humans and hybrids, however, benefited enormously after purification.
Nanami had personally attempted to use the crystals. The result had been disappointing.
The mont he tried, he encountered a strange resistance. It felt as though the crystals themselves rejected him.
Eventually, he gave up. Deep down, he understood the reason.
Although he occupied a human body, it was still not truly compatible with him.
That incompatibility greatly restricted his growth. anwhile, the hybrids experienced explosive improvents.
The entire base underwent a trendous transformation.
Before, the average level of the population had only been Level 4.
Now, the average had already reached Level 9.
Even more frighteningly, it continued climbing toward Level 10.
Several lucky individuals experienced miraculous breakthroughs and directly reached Level 15.
The achievent shocked everyone. Morale throughout the base soared.
At the sa ti, Silas’s growth beca even more terrifying.
His level had risen dramatically.
Now, with a single command, he could summon enormous quantities of lightning.
As he continued leveling up, his abilities constantly evolved.
Watching his progress, Ivy could not help but feel thrilled.
After all, if this continued, wouldn’t his healing power evolve even further?
What Ivy didn’t know was that Silas’s healing ability had already evolved by this point.
The change was astonishing.
Not only could he take injuries, wounds, and damage from one person and transfer them directly to another target, but he had also developed a far more terrifying ability.
He could convert other forms of energy into healing energy.
Just the other day, soone had accidentally struck him with a powerful bolt of lightning during training.
Instead of being injured, Silas had calmly absorbed the electrical energy.
The crackling currents that should have burned his flesh instead flowed through his body like streams of warm water.
Within seconds, he converted all of it into healing energy.
The result had shocked everyone present.
It was almost as if any harmful force directed at him could be transford into fuel for recovery.
The more Silas thought about it, the more excited he beca.
His eyes practically sparkled with curiosity.
Naturally, he imdiately began conducting various experints.
