The Immortal Snail release location

Lua POV

Imdiately after Janina and I were teleported in, we took in the sight. Brian had opened System Screens in the control center, and he had extended his All-Sight into them, so we had an idea. But unlike him, we can’t take all of that information in at the crazy speeds he can.

The Immortal Snail was still crawling up from the massive hole the release explosion had caused, while the others here seed to be baiting it towards a location, and one of them was holding a decently large spell crystal, which Brian said contained a teleportation spell. And that spell would take the Snail to the Ruiso Royal Capital, which is far from optimal.

… It isn’t actually as bad as it sounds. Brian could just teleport it away from there. That is unless this creature is immune to teleportation, but if the States can teleport it, Brian can as well.

The snail was the first to notice us, since the people were busy baiting it while staying away after seeing their companion die from just touching it. It then did sothing we never expected it to be able to do.

“The abnormal’s girls are here!” The humanoid part of the snail yelled.

It wasn’t wrong since Janina was in her humanoid form, but calling us ‘girls’ is an insult. We are definitely ladies.

But how can this thing talk? The tree definitely didn’t talk. And according to Janina, the tentacle monster didn’t speak either. So why is this one different? Simply because it has a humanoid body?

(Be careful.) I heard Brian’s voice inside my head. (That thing has two souls inside of it. One of them is PS16’s soul. Don’t know how his soul was absorbed or how big of an impact it had, but that might be how it can talk.)

I quickly relayed the info to Janina since she can’t listen to our System communications, but she said that Brian already used Soul Magic to tell her.

“Well, nothing has changed.” I said, as I noticed that the snail was preparing sothing. Miasma was gathering around it, so it was likely going to attack. “Let’s stick to the plan. I’ll counter that attack with Holy Magic since it is miasma based.”

“Don’t die.” Janina reminded , as she took a bit of distance and reverted into her dragon form.

“I’ll try not to.” I promised as I dropped down to the ground.

“You all should step back.” I warned the Statesman. “The snail is about to use instant death magic.”

Sadly they didn’t listen and instead attempted to attack while my focus was on the snail. Well, too bad. Resurrecting them in the prison will be easier.

I protected myself and Janina from the wave of death, though based on the power it wouldn’t have reached Janina. But the people next to fell to the ground lifeless.

“Decent attempt, snail. But your miasma based instant death magic doesn’t match up to my Holy Magic.” I taunted. Since the thing had two souls, I wanted to see if they were properly fused like Alice and Mana usually are, or if it is more like Unika and Stella where they are mostly separate, only combing together when they want to.

“You! You! You!” It yelled, and crawled towards , while I kept the distance with just a flap of my wings.

“Which one are you? The snail or the moron who touched the snail?” I kept going.

“Moron?!” He yelled. “Would a moron be able to take control of this god-like creature?”

“Thanks for the answer.” I calmly said. “Now enjoy Bad Reaction to Simochi.” I activated the card that should perfectly counter the snail. “Janina, if you would!” I called up to the dragon.

Spoiler

[collapse]

The snail … the person who took over the snail had been so focused on that he had already forgotten Janina, and as he turned his humanoid body to look into the sky, he saw her with her mouth open, a dragon breath ready to be launched at him.

Without him being able to hide in his shell, Janina let out her breath. It pierced the humanoid body of the snail, before quickly annihilating all of it.

The shell was left mostly undamaged. There were a few tiny marks on it, but it really was sturdy. Luckily he didn’t hide in it or this could have been bad.

{Is it dead?} Janina’s roaring voice asked from overhead.

“Probably not yet!” I answered. “But it will die soon.”

(Yeah. It isn’t dead yet, but it is quickly dying.) Brian confird. (The breath took a good 75% of its HP, and the regeneration turned self damage is taking the rest. It should take under a minute.)

Janina and I waited until Brian confird the death of the immortal snail, and I confird that by taking the shell of the snail into Storage. With how defensive it is, it will make for so great armor materials.

I then collected all of the dead Statesman, but even after searching and checking Storage, we didn’t find the body of PS16, so he must have been dissolved by the snail already.

Brian then teleported to the Quarry Prison, where I resurrected the dead. It is better if they are alive for a later part of Brian’s plan.

After they were all alive again, I was teleported back to HoBase.

The Narra Front

PS2 POV

“Blocked communications…” I quietly complained. “Couldn’t have made it easy. Just where is that dragon lady? I’ll beat her to prove I’m superior to any dragon.”

I flapped my wings to get up into the air before using my skill and transforming into a full dragon. Whatever defense the abnormal made here, I’ll burn down. And since he should be busy with the two ancients, he will have to send his dragon wife to face .

My na is Ryuuko1Dragon queen. My original one doesn’t matter, only what the Great One nad .

I was a little behind our troops, but with my wings I’d catch up to them in a few minutes. So I used my flight to gather extra mana into my body, so I can quickly burn down any opposing force.

But before I ever reached them, I heard a roar. A dragon’s roar.

{ওখানেই থামো।}2Stop right there!

Who thinks they can order to stop? I’ll stop when I deem so.

But they did roar in Draconic, so perhaps I can start showing my superiority.

I turned my path just a bit so I would run into this dragon. And with just a few flaps of my wings, I reached the dragon.

It was the abnormal’s fire dragon. Perfect. Not quite as strong as the lady dragon, but good warmup. There was also soone riding the fire dragon, but she shouldn’t be that strong since we don’t know much about her. She is just so dhampir working for the abnormal.

… but it is strange. Her scent is similar to that of the fire dragon’s she is riding. Or are their scents just mixing?

They shouldn’t be. Even in my Dragon-kin form, my nose can pick up a specific person from amongst 100, no matter how closely related they are.

I brought myself to a hover before the fire dragon, and decided to have a small chat.

{So, the abnormal sent his pet to deal with . Sha. I wanted his wife, not you.}

{Pet?} The dragon questioned. {I prefer the word butler. I may not be the best at it, but it is the role I was given.}

Didn’t heat up from the taunt, huh. A fire dragon that isn’t imdiately aggressive, a surprise. The false dragons I train against always attack on sight, with no need for taunts.

{Not a very good butler, I assu.}

{I suppose so. But not everyone can be a hell of a butler.}

After the dragon said that, I heard the dhampir girl giggling. What was the joke? Well, whatever.

{A dragon butler. What is next?}

“A Dhampir maid!” The girl riding the dragon offered.

{At least it is normal.} I told her. {Now. Will you two tell where the lady dragon is, or do I have to beat you first?}

I again heard giggles from the girl, so I wondered if she found sothing funny.

{She hasn’t yet been deployed, but Master’s plan was to have her kill the Immortal Snail with Lady Lua.} The fire dragon answered.

“Actually, she was just teleported there!” The maid corrected.

They can communicate sohow. Doesn’t seem to be that ‘phone’ magic tool they have. So probably soone’s unique skill.

{I see. I shall head there as soon as I’m through with you two.}

“I’m sure Brian will be willing to teleport you there if you can beat us!” The maid said.

{Then let us do just that!} I answered with a roar and rushed in.

The dragon prepared to take my rush while the girl spread her wings and took so distance. I’ll deal with her later and focus on the dragon for now.

I coated my claws in magic, forming Mana Blades on them and slashed at the dragon as I flew past. It tried to protect itself with its own claws, but I was faster.

I quickly turned around and flew another pass, boosting my speed even more with Sky Flicker. And since I was coming at the dragon from behind, I can hit the base of its wings which is a weak point.

However, despite my boosted speed and coming from behind, the dragon sohow spun around at speeds I could just barely follow and caught my claw in its own. I tried to use more force and push forward, but I couldn’t move.

So I instead flapped my wings in the other direction, pushing myself away from the dragon. That is when I noticed that my first pass hadn’t even left a scratch on the dragon.

{You are strong, for a false dragon.} The dragon said. {But you are still a fake.}

{False?!} I roared. {False dragons are nothing compared to !}

{True. But like they are nothing compared to you, you are just an adolescent when compared to an adult dragon.} The dragon stated. {In fact…}

{... What? In fact what?} I asked the dragon, since he didn’t finish.

That is when sothing hit my back and I felt claws sinking into .

{Even a Draconic can take you down.} The dragon finished.

I tried to reach whatever just latched onto my back, but my arms couldn’t reach. I then felt it bite into my neck, so I knew I had to do sothing quickly.

Since whatever the thing attached to felt like a small false dragon, I quickly transford back into my humanoid form. It would make too small to hold onto and I can get out of its grasp.

As soon as I was out, I turned back and saw another dragon on the battlefield. But not like the fire dragon. This one was like I was so ti ago. A person looking like a dragon.

Her sll was also familiar. The maid that had ridden on the dragon. So she can also transform into a dragon. How did the abnormal allow her to do that? He can’t have a skill like Haji’s, can he?

She charged at with speeds rivaling if not exceeding my own, while transforming back into a humanoid. I tried to raise my hands to defend myself, but her fist had already struck my face.

I saw the next punch coming, so I flared up my magic. Fire surrounded , but that didn’t stop the girl. She kept punching as if the fire wasn’t even there.

Does she have Fire Immunity unique skill or sothing?

I tried to fight back, but she was simply faster. No matter how much I boosted myself, my body just couldn’t keep up with her speed.

I quickly shifted myself back to my dragon form, as it is more defensive and I can flare up my flas even more. But it was a mistake.

As soon as I was a dragon, the girl also turned into a dragon. She again attached herself to my back and bit into my neck. But before I could even think about how I’d throw her off, I began to doze off and soon enough I was sleeping.

When I woke up, I had reverted back into my humanoid form and trapped in a jail cell. By the sounds and slls I was in the sa place as many other Pri Numbers. So sort of prison of the abnormal

I apologized to the Great One in my mind, hoping he would hear my call. But as long as the abnormal can’t stop our true plan, my loss won’t matter.
