The Immortal Snail release squad.
Commander: Power Structure 16 POV.
After I teleported using the stone made by the truthseer, I found myself in a tiny cave that held a dungeon pedestal. However, the pedestal was cracked and broken, and there wasn’t a dungeon core on the pedestal. It was a dead dungeon, and based on the fact that I could see the outside, it was tiny.
Why would anyone seal sothing in a place like this?
“Is this really it?” I asked so of Number 1’s subordinates. They were the best in magic from those living in the United States, and Number 1 no longer needed them, so plenty of them had been shared to be under my use.
That was of course an honor, but I truly wish I would have gained so of the letters like 22 did. I only got weaker sub-numbers.
Still, I’m one of the lucky ones. I used to be a letter under Number 3, where I learned Enchantnts and weapons making. However, unlike Number 3 who focused on individual power, I focused on area destruction.
The truthseer was impressed with what I was doing. At first. But then he began to suppress , telling that our objective was to save the world, not destroy it. Purify it from the useless ideals for the Goddess, not to kill everyone.
And he lied. Because of course he did. I didn’t realize it back then, but when I offered to turn the void uranium into a weapon of mass destruction, I did.
The ‘truthseer’ is nothing more than a man, just like all of us. Except those who are won.1He is being sexist against won here. I just ... didn't quite know how to write that in his inner monolog.
If he actually wanted to save the world, I wouldn’t be here with this team.
Our goal? Releasing so sort of ancient destructive force. The legends we’ve found called them the ‘Immortals’.
Sadly we didn’t know which one this specifically was. In fact, despite the best efforts of Number 7 and his letters and sub-numbers, we found out very little about these immortals.
We know that they are ancient, older than any civilization we know. We know they are extrely difficult to kill, to the point where they had to be sealed. They were sealed all across the world to avoid them from gathering, and to prevent one from releasing the others, if any of them were ever released. And we found out that the dragons killed one of them when it was sohow released for its seal.
What a joke. An ‘immortal’ that dies to so dragons. Just like the Goddess. Not a real god at all.
Not that I care. I want to see the destructive capabilities of this immortal. And I have a way of guaranteeing I will.
I made an amulet for myself. It will transfer my soul to whatever kills , allowing to take over its body. At least in theory. I tested it with a few of my sub-numbers, and it worked with them, so unless this immortal is much stronger than expected, it should work.
After the necessary preparations were completed, I inford the truthseer that we were ready, and then we waited. We could have released the immortal imdiately, but that wasn’t the plan. We needed to wait until we heard that the other ancient being had been released, to cause maximum chaos.
I didn’t hear back from the truthseer, but I didn’t care. He isn’t all-seeing. He is no God. I honestly almost wish this immortal will kill him. Would teach him that even he can be wrong.
Despite waiting, we didn’t hear from the truthseer. I began to get a little suspicious of it, but eventually we all felt a wave of dark attributed mana roll over us.
So 22 succeeded. Took her a while, as to be expected of an emotional woman. They can never stay objective. But at least now it is our turn.
I ordered for the activation of the spell, and as soon as the circle had the needed mana, we rushed away. We didn’t want to be caught up in the release.
A few monts later, the cave that sealed the immortal blew up, taking a good part of the mountainside with it. For a spell that only took 13,000 mana, impressive results I’d say. As you might expect from my work.
It might not be as destructive as the sacrifice release ritual, but this one can be filled by multiple people and has a delayed activation, so the people who activate it can get to a safe location.
After the dust settled, we carefully approached the hole the explosion caused. And there, at the depths of the hole lay the one thing that was clearly undamaged.
“... A shell?” I questioned. It looked like a large spiral shell. There are so monsters that have similar shells, but this one was much larger than any I’ve seen or heard of, and it was also pitch black.
Perhaps it is so sort of secondary seal? It is easily four tis my size, so it was large enough where it could hold sothing inside of it. Maybe the shell even sohow compresses space with Space Magic?
I slowly approached it, despite the calls of my troops to stay back. But I had to see if there was sothing more to this shell.
Sliding down the blown up mountainside was a bit difficult, but supported by my skills I made it to the shell. I gently placed my hand on it …
3rd person pov
To the people observing, it looked like their commander just collapsed, as soon as his hand touched the shell. They tried calling for him, but he didn’t get back up.
Instead, a black humanoid looking sli creature ca out of the shell, and imdiately consud the body of their commander. It locked eyes with the people watching, and began moving towards them. Slowly.
It wasn’t much faster than a brisk walk, but that may have been because it was crawling up the steep slope.
“The release was a success!” One of them declared. “Prepare the teleportation stone that will take the immortal to the Ruiso Capital!”
Inside the snail, 16 was taking in his spoils. His plan succeeded. He was now the one in control of this legendary creature. His soul had transferred as planned, though he was slightly worried since the snail ate his amulet. His control might slip if the amulet is fully destroyed, so he has to kill the snail's soul before that happens.
But he understood the power of this snail. Instant death. Anything that touches him is dead.
And not just touch. He can send out a wave of death that will kill those it hits. He would let these fools activate the teleport crystal that will take him to where he wants to be, and then he will kill them in the split second it will take for him to teleport.
And if 22 did as she should have, he will et the other ancient being there, and he will take its force for his own as well. With the force of the two combined, he will show the ‘truthseer’ how to really destroy everything.

Commander: Power Structure 4 POV.
As I felt the wave of dark mana roll over us, I knew it was ti to start.
“The dark being has been released. Let us blast through this dungeon. In case 1 fails, securing it will still give us a chance.” I announced, and my party moved forward.
I, Ginro2silver wolf, had been chosen for this sacred part of our operation. Securing the northern Super Dungeon.
With our research, we learnt that there are super dungeons in this world, but there are very few of them compared to regular dungeons. In fact, we only know of three.
One is the famous Castle Dungeon within the Hero’s country. Of course most don’t know just how special it is. Even we wouldn’t were it not for my nose and Haji’s unique skill.
Many years ago, the two of us were adventurers together. And during that ti, we naturally dove into dungeons. And the Castle dungeon was special. It slled different and Haji learnt that it was structured differently from all other dungeons.
For a long ti we believed it was special because it had been the Demon Lord’s dungeon, but one day when I was hunting up north, I slled that unique scent again.
I had located another special dungeon.
And then the abnormal ca. And he controls a third one. However, that one is even more special. Because the dungeon itself can move.
It took a lot of work to find that out, but apparently the abnormal sohow made a dungeon into a floating island. Our Master just said abnormals can sotis do things like that, just like how he can move around skills and stats within his Power Structure.
And to go against that power, we needed a special dungeon of our own. But we had to be extrely careful.
This special dungeon had no master. We knew because we monitored it, and no one ca out or went in. For years. So unless an immortal man is the dungeon master, there is no dungeon master.
Our Master theorized that the dungeon is under the control of the Goddess, but that with no living master, we could take it over. But we couldn’t be careless, since the Goddess would stick his dog, the abnormal, onto us if we tried.
But the abnormal should be busy with our distractions, so I can enter the dungeon and clear a path for my Master. And when he has sent Haji to the past, he shall co to my side and together we will secure this dungeon for him.
Alice and Brian, at the seal of the Soul of Darkness

“Alright Alice. Now that they are secure, release the soul of darkness.” I told her.
“... yeah, I should have … Wait?! What?! Release it!? Wasn’t our goal to prevent its release?!” She yelled.
“I an, kind of.” I admitted. “But two things. First, the souls aren’t inherently evil. Not like the immortals are. I an, look at Varuna and Pele. Sure they are evil from the point of view of most people, but consider it from their point of view. They are just living their lives. The sa goes for this one.” I explained.
“... alright. I’m following.”
“So by releasing it, I hope we can bring it to our side. It shouldn’t be impossible.”
“We might need Unika for that. Or perhaps the true you needs to co. I’m not sure my taming skills are up to stuff.”
“I’m sending Einar and Eline for help and I’m also available for now.” I told her. “But as I said earlier, there is a second reason we need to release it. The PSH is getting suspicious. I’ve been blocking communications both ways, and sadly I can’t fake ssages. But if they don’t get so sort of sign soon, we might have trouble. And in theory, if you boost the Dark Magic of the Soul with your own, it should send a pulse of Dark attributed mana across the States, maybe even further. That will make them think that their operation is going as planned, and that I’m just blocking their communications.”
“... alright. And what about the immortal?” Alice asked.
“It hasn’t been released yet. They are waiting for a signal from PSH I think, and I feel like he is waiting for a ssage from Shimaho. But the mana release might make them release it. Also, the people here had a teleportation stone that would take soone or sothing to the Ruiso Royal Capital. It is likely that the snail release squad has one as well. It would cause a massive distraction I’d have to imdiately deal with, or risk the deaths of tens of thousands.”
“... they really are insane.”
“You said it.” I agreed. I then heard the newest information from the true , and told Alice to hurry.
“They’ve deployed numbers 2 and 5. The false dragon is in Narra and the curse Dhampir is in Ruiso. They are getting more suspicious. Do it.” I told her.
It was a simple matter for Alice to erase the seal, and the soul of darkness was released. It didn’t attack or seem aggressive, but it did release a massive wave of dark mana, likely using it to scout its surroundings, similarly to how Pele did with Fire mana.
Alice added to it with a Spell or her own, making sure the wave would carry as far as it could.
… And it did carry far. While it dispersed before reaching any other continent, any competent mage on this continent would have felt it.
Which is kind of what I was going for, but I just hope people won’t panic. I’ll have to inform the world leaders that everything is fine and it is nothing to worry about.
