So I guess I’ll start off with Amilie’s new prison. We built it on the Dragon’s coast, in an area that was shared amongst a few dragons.
The true owner was technically a greater wind dragon, but he didn’t care about that part of the beach, so a lot of the younger dragons use it as a playground. So getting a small piece of it for myself was nice and easy.
On that part of the beach I put up so thick walls before adding a roof that was mostly made of glass so Amilie could see the sun. The walls also extended to the sea, so now Amilie also had access to water. And don’t worry, I reinforced the bottom under the sand so she can’t dig her way out of her new prison.
I also added so nice features like a small hut for Amilie, as well as things like beach chairs and parasols so she can ‘enjoy’ the sun. In short, it might seem like a beach paradise, but it is still a prison with just you there, trapped forever.
Also, it is practically unbreakable. I had to put a barrier on it so that the dragons wouldn’t accidentally break it open. But that required a powersource so I planted so mana flowers, and that left us with excess mana so I also added barriers against every type of magic I could protect against.
At this point, even I couldn’t get out of the prison without using Pack Opener. And for soone to get in from the outside would basically require Erasure Magic. Sadly I can’t really defend against it as it is way too cheaty of a magic.
Oh, and one last thing. The prison is climate controlled and we can teleport food to it from HoBase, so that makes it a lot easier to manage than the old one. And we can also monitor it since I installed caras.
The first few days after the transfer of prisons Amilie looked just as dead as she did before the move, but eventually she got so light back into her eyes. She still wasn’t enjoying life, as was shown by her trashing her dishware, but we just swapped to wooden ones instead.
She also attempted to dig her way out, first through the sand and then through the wall when she realized there was a similar wall under the sand as there are around her. But her silverware couldn’t scratch the walls, so eventually she gave in.
She did also try stabbing herself with the knife that was given to her with her als, but despite all her skills being sealed, she still has all her HP so she didn’t die quickly enough. I healed her and as a punishnt for trying, she was on a liquid diet for a few days.
After dealing with that over multiple days, I needed so ti to calm down. And so dates were perfect for that.
I’ve honestly been way too busy with all my projects, and the surprise fissures, to really give all of them the ti they deserve, so I made sure everything would run without and gave each of the girls their own dedicated day so we could do whatever they wanted.
Those began with Unika, since she had the day to spare. And she took to the Monster World so we could visit Stella’s domain. Unika goes there about once a week and this ti I went with her.
Usually Unika uses a ship to get from the portal to the solar mountain, but since I was with her, I just called Uṛanta and had him give us a ride.
After we got there, I saw sothing I didn’t expect. Multiple fox won dressed in shrine maiden outfits, and they were taking care of Unika’s shrine on this side.
Also, when I say ‘fox won’, I don’t an so sort of fox-folk or fox-kin who look human but have ears and tails, but actual anthropomorphized foxes who still have snouts and all of that, they just walk on two legs and their front legs have turned into sothing like arms.
The leading miko had nine tails, while the others had lower numbers. And the leading one seed familiar enough to where I began to connect the dots.
And when Unika began talking with them, I put it all together. Silon, and the other foxes Unika has summoning contracts with, had learned how to transform into these humanoid forms. And Unika had gotten them dressed appropriately.
The foxes had apparently learned how to do so from Nir. I found it interesting that Nir had made the trip all the way here, but then I rembered that I taught him how to teleport, so he could have just teleported here instead of having to walk all the way here and back.
I did like how the shrine I made for Unika, and Stella, was now looking even more like a real shrine. And the two of them are kind of like a sacred beast of the Sun, so them being worshiped makes sense.
The dates continued with Cailie. She wanted to go for a long swim in the ocean, but not near Jala’s island. So instead I teleported us to the other end of the continent and we went for a long swim in the eastern sea.
The eastern sea didn’t have any dedicated r-folk clans, but it did have so underwater towns. None of them were really cities, just smaller or larger towns, but they still had so really cool things.
The handcrafted things were sothing the people on land really wanted, and as they were seldom brought to the surface, they carried quite a lot of value. And since I was here, and I have basically everything and anything anyone would want, I bartered for so things.
Nothing too much, just sothing so I have cool novelty gifts for people. I’m already being invited by nobles all across the Ruiso Kingdom to join their parties, even though I always refuse. And now with my Empire rank coming up, I might actually need to start going to them.
Besides, when I have kids, I want to know what families will be safe to allow them to marry. No, I won’t be giving them away in political marriages. They will find who they want to marry on their own. Well, they can ask for help, but I’m not forcing them into anything.
With Lua, we visited a lot of the dhampir villages. She really would want to visit them more often, but due to ti constraints she can’t. But luckily I have Ti and Space Magics by my side, so we managed to visit a large quantity of them.
Plenty of her old students were happy to see Lua co visit. The younger kids were showing how their blood magic had improved, and I was honestly impressed by them.
Makes think, maybe I should make so sort of passive EXP radiator thing. Just sothing that will gradually give exp to people living around it and will slowly level them up, but much faster than what you could naturally do. I think I could make sothing like that, and having the dhampirs leveled up might be good, in case the States do start an actual war.
Then again, the dhampirs ran into massive problems during the last great war since so many of them died, so maybe not. I can just solve the war by myself.
Still an interesting idea I should look into.
Wilma was the one with ti to share next. We just ended up back in Smorog, visiting Claus. But this ti no forging anything.
We just chatted, enjoyed so food, Wilma and Claus played a chess-like ga that was from Smorog, and I talked to him about weapon design, especially when it cos to ‘impractical’ ani weapons. They actually have so uses in this world, as more material ans more space for enchantnts. But the weight does still co a problem as a massive sword is very unwieldy.
But Claus reminded that against huge monsters sotis you want that massive blade length. And it was up to us as smiths, or designers since that is what I do more than smithing, to make weapons that our custors can use and in the size they need.
I then had my own match of the ga with Claus, but he defeated . So I asked him if he knew the rules of Yugioh. He didn’t so after quickly teaching him the basics, we had a few duels. Mirror matches, by the way, I didn’t want to stop him because I was using the better deck. I beat him because I’m a better duelist.
I then had a match with Wilma and mid match I realized I can cheat a bit too easily when playing Yugioh with physical cards. I never thought about it, but I can just have a second copy of my deck held in Storage, and when I go to draw for a turn, I can return the top card of my dueling deck to Storage and replace it with any card I want from Storage, thus top decking the perfect card every turn.
Sure I’d have to keep track of the cards so I don’t get caught cheating, but that wouldn’t be too difficult. I an, I could even change the entire deck for the copy from Storage, one that I’ve reordered as I want. And any ti I shuffle my deck, I can just swap them again.
But I won’t be doing that because cheating in a ga I myself introduced to the world is way too low. Hint, hint, Pegasus.
At least I only ‘cheat’ by having custom cards. He cheated by having custom cards and reading the opponent’s plays.
Second to last was Alice. With her, we just visited Alewatch and walked around the town.
The town had really grown since I first ca in there, the population having doubled since then. Because of that, many new houses had been built and due to lack of space inside the walls, so were built outside. That led to Christina making new walls by herself.
It honestly sounds like sothing she should not be able to do by herself, but thanks to Level Up!s, she is actually level 99 with level 10 Earth Magic. So while she can’t match up to HoBase residents, she is extrely powerful as far as locals go.
So with a few days to use for it, she raised new walls around the town, made new roads, leveled out plots for buildings and so on. And the leveled up maids of the Watchman household could carry materials and help the construction efforts, while also getting the family in the good graces of all of the new people.
I an, do you want to ss with a dainty girl who can swing around a giant log?
Last was Janina. Not that we did much.
I just transford into my dragon form and ended up getting coiled by Janina’s much larger body. And I know so might think that it would be uncomfortable to have our scales rub against each other, it really isn’t.
Dragon scales are magic, and they work how the dragon wants them to work. So they can consciously soften them for a real nice feeling when they are intimate.
I had also found a great role for my Malicevorous monsters, since their giant cutlery was the perfect size to serve a dragon food, so I had summoned both Knife and Fork to feed us so cuts of at, as well as whole waterlons and other nice things.
