CH.30 Nightti visitor
After my bath, I put my clothes back on in preparation for dinner. But before that I need to confirm one thing with Laura.
(Laura, what set had the attribute boosting spells available?) I ask her.
(Master, it was Magic Ruler.) Laura answered.
(Good. If I open so more of it tomorrow, I might get the rest of the attribute boosters. They don’t seem rare considering I got three different ones already. That way Alice has a lot to choose from.)
(Master already has four different attributes, fire, water, light and dark. Is it really necessary to get more?) Laura asks.
(Not really. But it’s not like I know all the cards I can get from different sets. I didn’t unlock the setlists with the dungeon founding. I also want to try to get another Pot of Greed, and Magic Ruler should have it.) I tell Laura. (It also doesn’t really matter what set I’m opening, since I’m not really going for any specific cards. I would need the setlists for that.)
(I understand, Master.) Laura responded.

“Lord Brian, dinner will be served soon. Please follow to the dining hall.” Nicole ca to get .
“Sure.” I say to Nicole.
We make our way to the dining room and Christina is already there. Alice and Brandon are not here yet.
“Good evening lady Christina.” I greet her.
“Good evening.” She responds. “Would you tell about your trip today?”
“You haven't heard from the baron yet?” I ask.
“No. He is so busy.” She tells .
As I’m giving her an abridged short version of our adventure, the baron joins us. He then announces the start of dinner. I give my little prayer before eating, of course. If you are going to do sothing like that, you need to keep doing it. I might have forgotten if Laura didn’t remind .
Our dinner was bison steak. From the bison I hunted. And so rice on the side. It really is good. at you hunt tastes at least 30% better. But there was one problem. Well more like soone was missing.
“Is Alice not going to join us?” I ask.
“She said she is not feeling well, and is staying in her room.” The baron responds. I don’t want to call you a liar, but I really just don’t buy that.
“I see. Perhaps all those goblins were too much for her.” I said. I don’t really need to excuse soone not present, but I’ll do it anyway.
“Did you et goblins on your trip?” Christina asked.
“Yes, there were so in the dungeon. I would rather not get into detail. It’s not sothing for a dinner table.” I tell her.
“Oh, yes you founded a dungeon, didn’t you? You just have to show sothing from the dungeon.” She said.
I don’t have my fanny pack with , and everything made by the dungeon is just clothes. I guess I could show her that.
“Here.” I say as I pull my left sleeve up, revealing the founder’s terminal. “This is sothing from the dungeon.”
“What a beautiful bracer. You don’t really see ones made of gold.” She seed impressed. “It even has detailed carving work done on it.”
She must want one for herself. Or maybe for Alice. “I’m sorry, but the dungeon can’t make more of them.” I tell her.
“Ah,” She must have realized what my bracer is. “I see. That’s too bad.”
“It can make so quality cloth though, so you could get a tailor to make sothing for you from that.” I tell her.
“That sounds nice.” She says.
Our dinner concludes without any more disturbances.

Back in my room I change into the borrowed pajamas and head to bed. Good night.

I wake up, feeling soone holding onto my left arm. Did soone co in to steal my bracer? No, it shouldn’t be. Laura would definitely wake up, if soone did. I look to my left and see a young girl with blond hair next to . Why did Alice co into my bed? I really hope this doesn’t end badly.
(Laura, what ti is it?) I ask Laura. I would rather not wake up Alice right now. I need more info first.
(It’s 3:27 am, Master.) Laura tells .
(And how long has Alice been here?)
(She ca in at 1:12 am.)
(Why didn’t you wake up?)
(I saw it as unnecessary.) Laura said.
(We need to have a talk about what is and isn’t necessary. But I’m still sleepy, so that will have to wait.) I say and ignore the girl sleeping next to . Thank god I have so experience. If I didn’t this would not have ended well.

Aah… The morning sun. The best and the most blinding sun. Well the most blinding except for the one you see after four days of being a shut-in gar. What do you an four days is nothing? I’m not a professional NEET or anything.
(Good morning, Master.) Laura greets .
(Good morning.) I respond.
I look to my left and see Alice there. She is still sleeping. I hope that a maid won’t walk in and see us sleeping together. That would be terrible. Or it might end with being forced to marry Alice. I would say that’s not too bad, but I don’t want to marry soone I just t yesterday.
(Laura, the ti?)

So what to do? I could wake up Alice, and I feel like I should, but I also want to let her sleep. If she ca in at 1 am, she might not have slept before that. I don’t know her exact age, but she should still be in her teens. And after yesterday, she needs all the sleep she can get. I quietly get up from the bed and make my way over to my clothes. I notice next to my clothes is a navy dress, like the ones the maids use, an apron and the hoodie I gave Alice in the dungeon. Is she sleeping only in her underwear?
I grab my clothes and make my way into the bathroom. After relieving myself and changing clothes I return to the room. I should probably wake Alice up now. It would be better than having a maid walk in while she is still sleeping in my bed. She might even make it back into her room in ti. And all things considered, I would assu that her personal maid is in on this little secret. Usually the servants know everything that happens in the house.
Just in case she really is only in her underwear, I grab her hoodie and place it on top of her before shaking her lightly.
“Alice, it’s ti to wake up.” I say to her in a soft voice. I didn’t get to do this many tis with Laura, not the system support but my ex, because she would wake up before most of the ti.
“Hmmm..” She mumbles a little, but doesn’t want to wake up yet. I can understand that you want to keep sleeping, but I really don’t want you sleeping in this bed any longer.
“Alice, wake up or you will be found out.” I whisper into her ear while shaking her.
“Found out… for what?” She mumbles. “I haven’t done anything…zzz”
“So you didn’t sneak into the bed of a guest last night.” I said.
“Iik.” With a small scream she instantly got into a sitting position. She really was just wearing underwear.
“I’m sorry.” She said and was about to bolt out when I stopped her.
“I don’t think you should get up just yet.” I tell her calmly. “You are not really wearing anything, so if you don’t want to see the rest, I’ll enter the bathroom so you can get your clothes on.”
“...” Alice looks down at herself and realizes what I an. I was half expecting another scream, but she just grabs the hoodie I placed on her and hides behind it.
I walk into the bathroom and say to her. “Take your ti, but not too long so soone won’t co to get .”
Alice nods ekly.
