The young man was a bit reserved, as things were not quite as he had imagined. In his mind, he had envisioned just he and Qin Muye defeating the Thin Shadow Ghost, not involving the Law Enforcers.
"My na is Havier, Father," the boy said once he was inside the car.
Qin Muye nodded, "Alright, you can guide us now; they can easily keep up."
Though Havier was sowhat baffled, he complied, and soon the police cars moved out. Fifty Evangelical Spirit Monsters easily kept up with the leading vehicles, a sight that stunned the townspeople.
Chasing cars was indeed feasible for a short ti, but this group from the Cult in red robes didn't seem tired at all as they relentlessly followed behind the cars.
"Are these people from the Judgent Court?" the mayor asked tentatively.
"To each their own, that was the agreent between you and , Mr. Mayor," Qin Muye implied he wouldn't say.
The mayor laughed, "Hahaha, I forgot, I forgot, I'm really sorry, Father Andrew, my curiosity got the better of just now."
He was not even a bit embarrassed, instead, he covered his real thoughts with a hearty laugh. "It's okay, I just hope that next ti, Mr. Mayor, you don't express your curiosity, otherwise, I might get curious as well," Qin Muye was not taken in by this and indicated that if the mayor kept playing this ga, he would also be unable to suppress his own curiosity.
