After leaving the surveillance room, Gu Shaocheng was still busy selecting photos on his phone the whole way.
Chenxing’s heart felt sour, and she couldn’t help but touch her belly. Shaocheng loves children so much. If she could give him a fair and chubby son, how happy would he be by then?
Silently, a smile spilled across her lips, uncontrolled.

"Maybe it’s better not to have one." Since Chenxing already knew about his illness, and they had opened up their hearts to each other, he spoke to her without reservation: "If the child inherits my illness, coming into this world would just an suffering. Why bother?"
Hearing this, Chenxing’s complexion changed.

"What do you an by my belly is not cooperating? I’m not infertile." Chenxing pouted.
He laughed, a light, easy laugh with a hint of mischief hidden in it.
He teased on purpose, "Well, you never know, right?"
"Gu Shaocheng! You’re asking for it!"
"You’re becoming more and more violent. How did I ever fall for you?" He put on an expression of regret. Chenxing’s mouth pouted, her eyes glaring in anger: "Too late for regrets now, you know?"
Indeed, it was too late. The person who had moved into her heart couldn’t be driven away; the heart that had been given away couldn’t be taken back.
Gu Shaocheng looked at Chenxing with a smile: "How shall we spend the evening?"
Chenxing’s eyes rolled around coyly, trying to salvage her image: "You decide, I’ll follow. I’m the obedient one."
"Then let’s go to a concert."
But Chenxing shook her head vehently: "No, no, the last ti I accompanied you to a concert, I almost fell asleep halfway through. I’d rather go sing karaoke."
Although she liked to sing, the high-brow atmosphere of a concert was still sothing to avoid; it just wasn’t her cup of tea.
Gu Shaocheng stopped and pinched her nose: "No taste!"
"Hey, big brother, where are you guys going?" Hua Hua, exuding a trendy vibe, ca out of the hospital room and caught up to them, panting slightly: "If you’re not busy, why not co watch my fashion show?"
"We have no other plans."
"Ha, that’s great. The fashion show starts at seven tonight, we have two hours, just enough ti for dinner."
