They needed a month in total to clear all the monsters lurking in the abyss pit layer, but they only needed 5 hours to return back to the surface. As they erged from the hole in the ground one by one, the recruits took on a deep breath, they were clearly glad to feel the fresh air again.
So ti later, they arrived at the camp, and Anna checked everyone who erged from the pit. No matter what, she is a responsible woman, and she strove to at least make sure everyone managed to get out.
Anna couldn't admit to knowing all the nas of the people under her care, but she found it easy to recognize their faces. she knew every single one of their faces.
In a few monts, the last person ca out of the pit. Anna waited for another few minutes, but then she narrowed her eyes. Questions began to fill her mind, as she realized the person she really wanted to et has not yet appeared.
"Has he returned to the tent yet?" she asked herself.
As if realizing her predicant, not long after, a red-haired woman approached and said.
"Anna, if you want to find the tal Guardian, he's still inside."
Viez's answer surprised Anna, and her expression shifted to one of worry.
"Why?" She asked while raising her eyebrow, "Didn't the plans we made say we should stop after we fight Cerberus?"
Viez nodded, "Yeah, that is right, but he told that there was sothing he needed to do. Take it easy, Anna, I believe he will be fine."
Even though Viez tried to reassure her, Anna did not answer. With a gaze full of curiosity and worry, she stared at the darkness within the hole, as if trying to bore a hole through it.
…
anwhile, Viktor looked into the hole, his gaze was as if his soul was being absorbed into the darkness that lay within. Then, Djinn's voice mockingly rang out in his head.
