Li Nanheng walked back to the room and saw that the carpet had been flattened by Feng Ling.
He walked in. The door of the bedroom was unlocked. Feng Ling picked up her phone and was about to lie down on the bed when she heard his footsteps and looked back.
“Is this phone still working?” Li Nanheng glanced at the phone in her hand.
Feng Ling nodded, raised the phone and waved it at him. “Yes, you took to buy this phone last ti. It’s waterproof, but it was soaked in water for too long that day, so I couldn’t turn it on. Now the water in the phone is already dried, it can be used normally.”
“Buy another one if it’s not working.”
“It’s okay. It has no difference from before.” In order to prove that the cell phone had no problem, Feng Ling showed him the screen of the phone. An Arican military movie was being played on the screen. The movie had just begun. Obviously, she had just started to watch it.
“Besides this kind of movie, what kind of movies do you like?” Li Nanheng suddenly felt that he should resort to so corny ans to pursue her. After all, she hadn’t experienced these because of her childhood experiences. For example, take her out to a movie.
“None. K recomnded this movie to , so I am just watching it,” Feng Ling said, sat on the bed, took off her shoes, and put her bare feet on the bed.
Seeing her white and tender feet, Li Nanheng’s eyes slightly darkened and he imdiately turned his eyes to her cell phone.
“He recomnded this movie to you?”
“Yes, K said I should know that the human heart can be sinister, so he asked to watch more movies and learn more about intrigues.”
Li Nanheng: “...”
Feng Ling’s cell phone was suddenly taken away by the man and she looked at him puzzled.
“You don’t have to learn any intrigues! Don’t listen to him. I should thank God that you haven’t been misled by him after staying with him for so many years!” Li Nanheng threw her phone aside. “Co with if you can’t fall asleep.”
Feng Ling got out of bed and went out with him.
Li Nanheng took her to the room with fitness equipnt, turned on the lights and asked if she had co in to practice. Feng Ling shook her head.
“You haven’t exercised for a few days, so you can’t suddenly have excessive exercise, which will do harm to your health.” He walked to the treadmill and pressed a few tis on it, and the machine beeped. He adjusted the machine and said, “Jog for ten kiloters first, and then do in-place balance training.”
Neither of these movents would affect the wound on her head.
Although it was already night, Feng Ling was indeed unable to fall asleep. Boss arranged physical training for her in a different way. Although not as much equipnt was available as at the base, it was very suitable for her.
Feng Ling waited beside him obediently. However, after adjusting the treadmill for a while, the man said expressionlessly, “It hasn’t been used for a long ti, so it’s broken.”
Feng Ling: “Can’t I run tonight?”
“Go out for balance training first. Let check what went wrong.” The man said while checking the treadmill.
Feng Ling nodded obediently and turned to go out. She looked around in the living room and in the end, returned to the carpet she had just laid, lying on it for balance training.
However, when she pushed her limbs to the ground, she felt that her head ached. Although the wound was not so painful, when she pushed up her head, her brain hurt. She closed her eyes to endure the pain. But after doing it for a while, she crawled back on the carpet and put her hands on her head.
After a minute of rest, she propped up her limbs again and began to exercise.
After repeating this process a few tis, she finally found the right balance, and at this mont, the doorbell rang again.
Feng Ling looked at the door and then at the man who was repairing the treadmill inside. He didn’t seem to hear it.
Soone had been here just now. Although she didn’t know who he was, he should be Boss’s acquaintance.
So she got up, walked to the door, and opened it.
At the mont when the door was opened, Feng Ling remained expressionless but when the woman outside saw Feng Ling, her face changed instantly.
“Why are you here?” Feng Mingzhu looked at Feng Ling in the door in shock.
This bastard nad Feng Ling didn’t respect her at all in the mall! She was so pissed that she almost smashed her bag on his head!
For so reason, she felt that there must be a reason that Li Nanheng didn’t let her in. No matter how he disliked her, at least he should invite her in unless there was soone else in his ho, so she knocked at the door again to see if he hid a woman at ho, but she didn’t expect that Feng Ling would co to open the door!
Feng Ling didn’t expect to see this Miss Feng here, but she didn’t care. Taking a look at her, she turned around deadpan and said to the room inside, “Boss, soone is looking for you.”
Feng Mingzhu followed her in and quickly glanced around in the apartnt that she had never entered.
There was no won’s stuff and all the items in the room were neatly placed. Feng Ling was a little sweaty and a bit out of breath. Obviously, she was doing so simple exercise just now.
So there were only two n in the apartnt and no woman.
She was a bit relieved but still looked at Feng Ling suspiciously, asking, “Why are you here? Aren’t you a mber of XI Base? What are you doing at his ho?”
When Li Nanheng ca out, he heard Feng Mingzhu’s aggressive voice. He walked out and said coldly, “Can’t you see the wound on Feng Ling’s head? Do I have to ask for your permission to have a base mber to recuperate at my ho?”
Feng Mingzhu looked at Li Nanheng and then at the room behind him. Through the open door, she saw that there was so fitness equipnt inside, and her eyes imdiately softened. “Nanheng, I was going to leave, but then I think that we should have a talk, so I will...”
“What is it? Was I too polite to you? Have I made you misunderstand sothing? Miss Feng, what makes you believe I won’t throw you out?”
