“Second Young Master Jun, we don’t know his full na. No one has ever t him in real life but we do know everyone calls him Mr Lu.”

Jun Mosheng repeated it in his mind.
“Stop chatting, look, the star of the day, Miss Lin is here,” soone said.
Jun Mosheng lifted his eyes to look, it was Lin Xuanyin. Lin Xuanyin wore a pink gown, attracting the attention of the crowd once she appeared.
“Wow, the daughter of the Lin family indeed deserves her popularity in Karghalik. She’s really stunning.”
The crowd only had complints for her.
Hearing the crowd’s praises, Lin Xuanyin was very satisfied by it all. She acted shy and virtuous, behaving every part the gentle and obedient daughter.
ilan stood behind Lin Xuanyin as she said, “Look, Xuanyin, everyone’s taken away by your beauty. You’re sure to steal the lilight from Xuanji tonight.”
ilan was their step mother and Xuanji wasn’t fond of her and didn’t have a close relationship with her. Xuanyin on the other hand was pretentious and called her ‘Mom’ sweetly, so ilan naturally was biased towards Xuanyin. The pair rely made use of each other to satisfy their own needs.
“Mom, it’s all thanks to you. It was only because of this gown from Velo that you prepared for .” Lin Xuanyin looked at ilan with glowing eyes.
Speaking of the gown, ilan continued speaking gloatingly, “Velo’s gowns are the best in the entire fashion industry, only second to Newbutty. However, Newbutty is a couture brand for the royals so I wasn’t able to get my hands on it. Even those wealthy madams aren’t able to get it. Xuanyin, Mom has really spent a lot of ti and effort on you. Look at Xuanji, I didn’t even prepare a gown for her. When she cos downstairs later, she’s definitely going to lose out.”
Lin Xuanyin’s eyes lit up when she heard the brand ‘Newbutty’. It was such a sha, if only she could lay her hands on one of their gowns... It would have been great.
But since it was practically impossible to buy a Newbutty gown, Velo was the best alternative available for now.
The thought of Lin Xuanji wearing a simple dress later made her feel smug and pleased.
