Chapter 124: Pretentious Woman!
Deng Yufei knew Shi Jin too well. Shi Jin would never kick a fuss if it was about Chu Ling.
Sure enough, Shi Jin did not get angry and made the right choice of admitting the songs had nothing to do with her. She must be beside herself with joy now that Chu Ling wanted to use her songs.

Shi Jin packed her things and headed to the film location to rehearse the next day.
The mont the film crew saw Shi Jin on set so early for once, they pursed their lips and felt she must be here to see Chu Ling and congratulate him on the success of his latest album. After all, Chu Ling was officially releasing his new album today.
Could Chu Ling even be bothered with her?
Chu Ling got up early in the morning and ca over to admire the fruits of his success.
The film crew had decorated the set and arranged for flowers and red wine to celebrate Chu Ling’s album release.
Deng Yufei and Shi Xuexin also arrived first thing in the morning. They decorated the film location with red roses making the set particularly romantic and lively.
Chu Ling’s new song by Deng Yufei was airing in the background. It was pleasing to the ear and people could not help feeling imrsed in it.
Shi Xuexin smiled gently as she said, “Your song is really good.”
“Chu Ling did a good job. His new album and songs were a total hit. We have you to thank for supporting him,” flattered Deng Yufei.
Kang Cheng and Deng Yongjian also showed up.
By choosing to release the album officially through the program, Chu Ling was helping to boost ratings and doing them a favor, so they naturally had to show up to support him.
The mont they saw Shi Jin finally show up punctually for once, everyone knew exactly what she was doing there.
Shi Jin sat in the distance as she drank her coffee. After taking a small sip of coffee, she put down her coffee and put on her mask.
She seed particularly nonchalant and it was impossible to tell if she cared about what was going on at all.
Shi Xuexin could not help cursing Shi Jin for being pretentious in her heart. No matter how she pretended, Chu Ling could not be bothered looking at her!

The fans outside kept shouting his na until they lost their voices.
“Thank you for finding the ti to attend the press conference for Chu Ling’s latest album, ‘Sing’.” Hu Lai bead as she gazed at all the guests. “After doing the pre-release promotions last night, the pre-order has reached over one million copies!”
“One million copies? That’s just the pre-order alone!” said a guest from below the stage in surprise.
“Uh huh. The local music industry has shrunk over the years. Streaming dia is highly advanced and a lot of people listen to music online. Very few artists are capable of coming up with a million copies of album sales in a market like this!”
