"Where were you? You didn’t receive my call and you are back ho so late." Lu Qiang asked worriedly.
Lu Feng didn’t look at Lu Qiang. "I am not a kid that you will worry about ," Lu Feng replied, which startled Lu Qiang because he never ever talked like this with Lu Qiang.
He thought Lu Feng must have his own problem, so he replied like that and ignored it.
"I know but...." Lu Qiang stopped and went to the main topic. "I want you to take my father’s place until he gets better."
"I don’t want to," Lu Feng replied imdiately, not even waiting for a second.
It surprised Lu Qiang. Lu Feng, who always talked about how he was going to take Lu Corporation to its peak, was talking like this.
"Why? Haven’t you always wished to handle the business?"
"I changed my mind. I thought about it and I ca to know that I was just influenced by the status one gets when one is a top businessman. I just wanted to be like Uncle Lu Jinhai, where everyone will bow in front of ." Lu Feng answered.
"Nothing is bad in getting influenced as it’s the way to know what we want to do in life."
"I know but I was wrong about it. Now my dream is different and I don’t want to waste my ti behind other things so it’s better that you should take the place of your father."
"But...."
"I don’t want to argue on it, Lu Qiang." Lu Feng interrupted him. "Either you handle it or there are other capable people who can do it but spare . I want to live my life free and don’t want to get buried under the pressure of family and the business.
"Think about it one more ti, Lu Feng." Lu Qiang didn’t want to give up.
"You can leave now, Lu Qiang and instead of looking out for other options, start preparing yourself to be in the position of your father. Also, don’t expect to get any help from and never expect to co to Lu Corporation. Let be free."
It surprised Lu Qiang to see this sudden change. "What happened to you suddenly, Lu Feng? Is there sothing that is troubling you?"
"There is nothing and if there is sothing, I am old enough to handle it. You just focus on how to handle Lu Corporation." Lu Feng replied coldly.
Giving out a deep sigh, Lu Qiang thought to leave as he was already stressed with his father’s condition and the ss going on inside the Lu preparation. When he was expecting to get a helping hand from his most trusted person, he pushed him away. It was disappointing for him.
Just as Lu Qiang turned to leave Lu Feng’s room, Lu Feng spoke. "Don’t co looking for after this as I won’t be able to help you with anything."
Lu Qiang halted in his tracks but didn’t turn to look at his suddenly cold turned brother and left.
Though Lu Qiang was young, his father trained his son since he was a kid. Lu Qiang’s dream was sothing else, but he learned what his father asked him to and he realized, his father was getting him ready for the day like this when no one but he had to step forward to handle everything.
After this, Lu Qiang got busy with business and in the next few days, he got to know that Lu Feng left the ho and went to the school’s dormitory. He was staying there against the will of the family and especially his mother.
One fine day, in the school’s dormitory, Lu Qiang went to see him. Though Lu Feng was cold to him, for Lu Qiang he was his brother and the best friend whom he cared about.
"Why did you leave ho, Lu Feng?" Lu Qiang asked as both were sitting on the bench outside of the dormitory building.
"I told you I want to live freely and being in the Lu Mansion makes feel suffocated."
"Why did you feel like it?" Lu Qiang asked.
"That I don’t know but I want to be away."
"Co back ho, Lu Feng. No one will bother you there. I assure you."
"If you really want to be at peace, then don’t ask to do it."
"Is this what you really want?"
"Yes, and it would be better if you never co looking for . Just leave alone on my own."
"Fine!" Saying it annoyingly, as Lu Qiang was about to leave, Lu Feng called him. "Lu Qiang!"
Lu Qiang stopped but said nothing. Lu Feng continued. "Forget that you have a brother called Lu Feng."
These words from him hurt Lu Qiang but without saying a word, Lu Qiang left and he never talked to Lu Feng after this for a long but fate brought them together after the kidnapping incident of Lu Lijun where Lu Feng couldn’t stop himself from coming to his little brother who was in the hospital.
