Jiang Yuyan wanted to say so many things, and not to forget how much she was angry with him for what he did the previous night. She wanted to confront him, but she was so weak even to do so.

Feeling frustrated in front of the stubborn guy who didn’t realize what he had done wrong, Jiang Yuyan held her head as it hurt more and shut her eyes tightly.

She spoke through her gritted teeth. "Get out of my room."

Lu Lijun was calm. "I can’t leave you alone. You are weak."

He turned to the bedside table to pick up the glass filled with water and removed its lid.

"You must be thirsty." He offered her a glass of water.

Inhaling deeply to gather so energy, Jiang Yuyan opened her eyes and looked at the glass.

Smash!

The next mont the glass was on the floor, shattered into pieces, and water spilled everywhere.

Still, Lu Lijun was calm as he looked at the shattered glass pieces.

"I’ll get another glass."

He was about to go to the coffee table with a glass jar and spare glass on it; Jiang Yuyan moved the quilt aside and was ready to get out of the bed.

"What are you doing?" he went to her and stopped her from getting out of the bed by standing closer to block her way.

She sighed, "If you don’t go, then I have to. Get out of my sight."

"You have to see for all your life, so get used to it," said Lu Lijun as he offered her hand. "You need to get fresh. I’ll take you."

Jiang Yuyan lay back in the bed as she had no strength left and closed her eyes.

"Do you want to carry you?" he asked and leaned down to pick her up.

She held his hand, "Don’t touch ."

He looked at her calmly, "Can’t I touch my wife?"

She glared at him, "I am not your wife."

This ti there was a change in his sight as his calm eyes turned darker. Still, looking at her weak, he held back.

Knock! Knock!

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and Lijun went to open it.

Lu Feng and Jiang Yang were there at the door.

"How is Yuyan?" Lu Feng asked as he entered the room, as Jiang Yang followed him.

Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan acted as if nothing happened.

The two looked at the shattered glass pieces on the floor.

"What’s this?" Lu Feng asked.

Before Lu Lijun could say a word, Jiang Yuyan spoke, "It slipped from my hand."

Jiang Yuyan was sure Lu Lijun would say sothing that he should not. He never cared about anyone before saying anything.

Jiang Yang was calm and just observed the floor with water splashed and even the glass pieces spread for a longer distance.

Lu Feng noticed his sight, and he too understood it didn’t look like the glass was just slipped, and given the situation the two were in, Lu Feng could imagine what must have happened.

Lu Lijun, who noticed these two, spoke, "She is angry with , so she threw that glass away."

Jiang Yuyan sighed in annoyance as what she didn’t want finally happened.

He checked her temperature as he spoke, "I was busy with surgery, so couldn’t co earlier."

"It’s fine. I’m not that sick," she replied in her low and weak voice.

"Would you like to co ho with ?" Jiang Yang asked, and it shocked the other two, especially Lu Lijun, who would never let this happen.

"She is not in the condition to go anywhere. Let her get better first," said Lu Lijun.

Jiang Yang, who was calm till now, looked at Lu Lijun coldly. "I know what I’m doing."

Lu Feng sensed coldness around the two n and interfered. "Lu Lijun, you should go to your room. You have been here since the morning and need to rest now."

"I’m fine," he replied, not willing to go.

Lu Feng went to Lu Lijun, and he put his hand on Lu Lijun’s shoulder. "You didn’t even eat anything. let’s go."

"I am not hungry," ca the other cold reply from the cold guy who only stared at the woman in front of him who didn’t even look at him.

She, too, looked at the floor and asked the servant to clean it up. Ning Jiahui went to Jiang Yuyan, and Jiang Yang stood up to make way for her.

"How are you feeling now?" she asked, her voice and sight caring and calm.

"Fine now," Jiang Yuyan replied.

"I brought a soup for you and so light food. You and Lu Lijun should eat sothing. He didn’t eat the entire day and didn’t leave this room," Ning Jiahui inford.

Jiang Yuyan still didn’t look at Lu Lijun as if she didn’t care.

Jiang Yang looked at Ning Jiahui. "I’m planning to take her with . It would be better if she stays away from the stress for so ti."

Hearing it, Ning Jiahui felt guilty. She knew Lu Lijun’s rebellious action from the past few days had only troubled Jiang Yuyan, and canceling the engagent was sothing that should not have happened.

"I apologize for all the stress she has to go through."

"Mother, it’s because of the rain. I’ll be fine." Jiang Yuyan didn’t want her mother to apologize when it was not her fault.

Seeing Lu Lijun might say sothing which would only create trouble for him, Lu Feng talked. "Let the brother and sister talk. Can we?"

This ti Lu Lijun agreed to it as it was not right to stop Jiang Yang from talking to Jiang Yuyan.

Lu Lijun nodded lightly but only to declare sothing. "But, she is not going anywhere."

He said it loud and clear to let everyone hear it.

Jiang siblings didn’t react to it, and Lu Feng took Lu Lijun out while Ning Jiahui was puzzled with what was this sudden coldness around and why it looked like sothing was wrong, and she didn’t know it.
