Once Jiang Yuyan left, Lu Lijun sat in his chair as he closed his eyes. His forehead had frown lines as if he was annoyed with sothing.
Noah entered the office to resu his work with Lu Lijun, but instead of seeing his friend happy, he looked upset.
Noah saw Lu Lijun’s hand and understood why Jiang Yuyan was there. His stubborn friend didn’t care for himself, but soone else did.
"You should be happy when President Lu personally ca to you for such a small thing. She sure cares for you a lot."
Lu Lijun chuckled, "Care? Just for the show."
"Why do you say so?" Noah asked.
Not answering, Lu Lijun instructed, "Get back to work."
While working, Lu Lijun inford, "Tomorrow is my grandparent’s anniversary. You and Jake are invited."
Noah sighed, "Finally, we will get to see in which palace this prince lives."
"Sorry for not inviting earlier," Lu Lijun apologies.
More than two months passed, but Noah and Jake had never been to Lu Mansion. Lu Lijun was so occupied in his world that he didn’t get the chance to do so. But his friends understood him, and they were fine as long as they could see Lu Lijun.
"It’s fine. After seeing you in the office the entire day, It’s enough for . I need change," Noah spoke.
"You have a good change now after office work," Lu Lijun comnted.
Noah didn’t get it, "Change?"
Lu Lijun looked at him, "Don’t you have Jake in your ho now. I’m sure after seeing the entire day; you must be dying to see him."
"After this, I die to see delicate beauties and not that man of muscles," Noah countered.
"I bet you like muscles more," Lu Lijun smiled lightly.
Noah glared at him but knew what to do to shut his friend, "Isn’t it President Lu’s birthday soon?"
"Hmm," Lu Lijun nodded.
"What are you gifting her?" Noah asked.
"Gift?" Lu Lijun thought about it.
"She gifted you sothing precious to you, so shouldn’t you do the sa?"
Lu Lijun smirked, "Need to prepare sothing nice."

The next day evening, Lu Mansion was ready to celebrate the elder’s wedding anniversary. They had invited just close family friends and kept it as only a small family gathering. Mings and wens were invited.
Everything was arranged in the mansion garden, which was decorated with beautiful lightings, balloons, ribbons, and other decorative stuff. In the garden center, a finely decorated big size circular table was arranged where the elder couple would cut the cake.
Multiple decorative circular tables with chairs were arranged for others to sit, while for the elders, there was a royal-looking couch in the center.
All the family mbers arrived in the garden except for Lu Lijun.
"Where is Lu Lijun?" Lu Jinhai asked his wife.
"He is not ho," Ning Jiahui replied.
It surprised Lu Jinhai, "Doesn’t he know he has to be ho today?"
"Sothing important must have co up," Niag Jiahui said.
Just then, the Ming family arrived there, and Lu Jinhai went to welco them.
"Where is that old man?" Elder Ming asked.
"Getting ready," Lu Jinhai inford.
Elder Ming sighed, "It’s his day. Let him take ti."
When the elders were talking, Ming Rusheng’s sight searched for soone, but that soone was not there.
Lu Chen ca to greet them and guided their way towards the garden.
Lu Feng and Lu Han were there who accompanied Ming Rusheng. An Tian and Jiang Yang arrived too and joined them.
"How’s everything going?" Lu Feng asked Ming Rusheng.
"As usual," Ming Rusheng replied and asked, "The new project in city S, they approached . I heard it was your idea."
"We need the most capable architect," Lu Feng replied, "But I heard you hadn’t agreed yet."
"I’m going through it," inford Ming Rusheng.
"I don’t see the three kids around," An Tian said, looking at Lu Feng.
"You call them kids even after seeing what they are," Jiang Yang countered.
Lu Feng looked around, "Lu Lijun is not here too."
Just then, Jake and Noah reached there, and Jiang Yang spoke, "Two of them are here."
Jake and Noah joined them, and An Tian asked them, "Where is the third kid?"
"Must be playing around sowhere," Noah replied shalessly, not minding getting called as a kid.
"Instead of asking other kids, shouldn’t elders look after that troubleso kid?" Jake added.
"These kids are getting bolder these days," An Tian comnted and glared at them, "You two just wait."
The two knew An Tian could really be scary when others have sothing to hide, so they preferred to be quiet.
Just then, the Wens arrived, and the elder Lu brothers were busy welcoming them.
"Where is Liwei?" Lu Jinhai asked.
"She would be here in so ti," her mother inford.
At the sa ti, Lu Lian ca outside of the mansion with Lu Bao. She saw her parents talking to the Wen family.
"Your in-laws are here," Lu Bao comnted.
"Lower your voice," Lu Lian glared at her.
Lu Jinhai saw them and asked them to co there. Lu Lian reached there, and finally, Ming Rusheng got to see the one he was waiting for.
Lu Lian was dressed up nicely and looked pretty as usual, and Ming Rusheng couldn’t take his eyes off of her even though she stood far away from him.
She talked to Wen Zac, who greeted her, and Ming Rusheng couldn’t stop feeling restless.
Lu Jinhai asked Lu Lian to take Wen Zac towards the venue. As they walked together while talking, Ming Rusheng continued looking at them.
"How is my cousin?" Jiang Yang asked Ming Rusheng, but he didn’t hear it being busy looking at Lu Lian.
Jiang Yang followed his sight, and so did An Tian and Lu brothers. They got the reason but preferred to show they didn’t know anything.
"Ming Rusheng," Jiang Yang called again.
This ti finally, Ming Rusheng looked at him to know why Jiang Yang called him.
"I asked, Where is my cousin, I an your sister?"
"She is roaming around here and there," Ming Rusheng replied.
Lu Lian and Wen Zac reached there. Wen Zac greeted everyone and joined them.
"Lian, you are looking pretty," Jiang Yang complinted, and before she could reply, Jiang Yang spoke again, "Let ask your boss," and he looked at Ming Rusheng, "Am I right?"
It startled Lu Lian and Ming Rusheng.
"Hmm," Ming Rusheng nodded.
An Tian and Lu Feng smiled lightly, seeing what Jiang Yang did.
Not knowing what to say, Lu Lian bowed and left.
Jiang Yuyan arrived there and greeted everyone. Jiang Yang got the chance to spend ti with his busy sister.

Finally, everyone gathered in the garden except the fourth young master. Elder Lu and grandma reached there too, and everyone greeted them by wishing them a happy wedding anniversary.
The cake arrived, but Lu Lijun was still not there.
"Call him," Lu Jinhai instructed Lu Feng.
Just as Lu Feng dialed Lu Lijun’s number, the cellphone rang nearby, and everyone looked at it.
Lu Lijun was there finally, but he was not alone. Liwei was with him, and it surprised everyone why the two were together.
